Exhausted, Kevin closed his eyes and sank into a deep sleep. Two years passed and he could finally be relieved and had a good sleep.
At dawn, he turned over, instinctively wanted to hug the woman beside him, but didn’t touch anything. He was suddenly shocked, quickly pressed the light bedside lamp, but Bella wasn’t still in bed. She hadn’t been beside him.
Kevin lifted the quilt out of bed, went straight to Bella’s bedroom, opened the door, and looked carefully. He was relieved to see that she was lying on the bed in the center of the bedroom, breathing evenly, looking serene …
Along with his psychological pressure for two gone, Kevin was energetic, who had been cold finally showed a relaxing smile.
Monday was the day of the new product launch. All the staff in LoveBella Group was joyful. The product launch in the morning went very smoothly. At noon, a celebration banquet was held in the hotel but Kevin but didn’t see Bella to attend.
He frowned in bewilderment, holding a glass of wine, walking in the middle of the crowd. Looking at him who was absent-minded, the R & D team leader walked over and asked, “Mr. Jones-Sharp, are you looking for someone?”
“Why isn’t Miss Finger here?”
He pretended to ask casually.
“Oh, Miss Finger said she had something to do, and left the company as soon as the morning conference was over.”
Kevin was disturbed at once, but he didn’t show it, smiling and nodding, “Okay, I know.”
The celebration banquet lasted from noon to evening. When the banquet was over, Kevin rushed home and ran upstairs, shouted in a deep voice, “Bella? Bella? Are you home?”
No one answered him, so he pushed open the bedroom door. But there was no one there. He frowned and called her, but her phone was off.
Kevin was more worried. He went downstairs again and bumped into the housekeeper outside the living room door, who handed him an envelope, “Young Master, this is what young lady asked me to hand over to you.”
He hurriedly took it and couldn’t wait to open it, “I don’t know if you are anxiously looking for me when you see this letter. You may not, but I just think so. I’m leaving when you don’t need me anymore. I hope you can live a good life because I won’t save your life for the third time.”
Kevin frantically dialed Bella’s number, where a gentle voice patiently informed him: the number you dialed is power off.
He quickly rushed to the airport but found to his dismay that the last flight to F City had just taken off half an hour ago.
He was desperate, stood outside the airport for two hours, and smoked a pack of cigarettes.
The next morning, he rushed to the airport again and took the earliest flight of the day to F City. The second time Mika saw Kevin, her attitude was still cold, but much less surprised than the first time she saw him.
“Auntie, is Bella back?”
“Bella didn’t come back.”
She replied rudely to him, and her eyes were filled with resentment.
Kevin, however, didn’t believe it and said in a husky voice, “Auntie, I know you have a problem with me, but please tell me where Bella is. I have something to say to her.”
“I already said she didn’t come back. If you don’t believe me, you can sit here and wait.”
Mika was quite impatient. But Kevin really sat down and waited, before getting off the plane had called the Gold Group and confirmed that Bella didn’t go back to work.
He waited for a whole day. In the evening, Armand from the pier back from work, looked resentful, and coldly questioned, “What are you doing here?”
“Armand, he’s here to see Bella.”
Mika answered before him.
“Isn’t Bella with you all the time? Why are you now coming to my house looking for her?” Armand suddenly stepped forward and grabbed him by the collar, “Did you do something outrageous to force her away again?”
Kevin didn’t explain anything and said calmly, “Please tell me where she is.”
“We don’t know!!! Get out of my house! Still haven’t tortured my niece enough, have you?”
Armand thunderously blew Kevin out of the house. Kevin looked at the heavily closed door in front of him and didn’t feel discouraged. He turned around and left the house, but didn’t go far, and lurked in a small supermarket nearby.
As he expected, after waiting for about an hour, he saw Armand and Mika leaving the house.
Kevin hailed a car to quietly follow them, and the car turned several corners and then stopped in front of a composite building. He stood in the shadows and watched Armand and his wife walk in.
That night, he stayed in a hotel. As soon as the day dawned, he set off from the hotel to the place he had followed last night. Pushing open the white wooden door, he walked into the courtyard and raised his hand to knock on the door in front of him.
He knocked for a long time before the door opened, and standing in front of him was the person he was looking for, Bella.
Bella suddenly saw him, and a fleeting surprise flashed in her eyes, but only fleeting. She soon regained her composure and coldly asked, “How did you find here?”
“If I’m really want to find you, I can find you when you hide under the ground.”
“What are you looking for me for?”
“Do you like running away from home that much?”
Kevin sarcastically retorted.
As if hearing a ridiculous joke, Bella said, “Are you now trying to tell me that the Cloud Mansion is my home?”
“What is it if not your home?”
“Is it my mother’s house or my mother-in-law’s house? If it’s my in-laws, why does my husband separate from me and why does everyone want to kick me out?”
“No one is kicking you out!”
Kevin angrily growled in a low voice.
“If I remember correctly, the night before last you ferociously told me to stay away from you and to go to another man.”
“That’s because you are too close to Quintin.”
“It isn’t because I’m too close to Quintin, but because you don’t believe me that I won’t have sex with any man other than you, but what about me? Even though I obviously care about the relationship between you and Lily, I never ask too much, because I believe that there will be nothing between you. I don’t ask, but it does not mean that I don’t care, only because I believe in you. However, you didn’t trust me in the same way. When I was with Quintin, you can not understand my feelings of self-reproach and guilt. Because of my love for you, I have become a selfish person! Bella’s tears fell, and she realized that she was actually so aggrieved but had been too busy with Kevin’s business to care about the feelings in her heart.
Her tears made Kevin heartbroken, and he took a step forward to hug her, but she rebounded and backed away, “Don’t come over.”
Seeing her so distant from him, Kevin became more distressed, “Bella, it’s not like that. I’m not ungrateful. I’m just not good at expressing myself, and I also never suspected you. The reason why I said those to you because of my jealousy of Quintin. The other night when I saw you really want to leave, I completely panicked. The only thought in my mind was that I couldn’t live without you …”
“Don’t say things like that again,” Bella interrupted angrily. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she recounted, “I haven’t felt important to you since we met again, and it’s always been me around you from the beginning until now!”
She closed the door, not wanting to say anything more to Kevin. It was fine that some words weren’t still spoken and if they were said, someone would be heartbroken.

Kevin’s heartfelt words didn’t move Bella who felt a loss. The iron gate in front eventually didn’t open again. He stood for a long time, and finally, gloomily left.
After Kevin left, Bella cried for a long time. It was not that she wasn’t unable to forgive him, but she just couldn’t accept that he came to her affectionate confession when he was decent, and pushed her away coldly when he was desperate. She didn’t think love should be like this. True love was to share with the one you loved most no matter what happened, even if it was not good.
After thinking deeply for a long time, Bella dialed Quintin’s number, told him her address, and then Quintin came to her temporary residence.
“When did you come back?”
