Ten days later, Miller White was sitting on the plane home with Amanda, technically he was the one holding her in his arms.
“Boss, don’t be mad at me, I just don’t want you to get hurt,” Amanda mumbled with a small face scrunched up and her head down in aggravation.
This man, since she woke up, had not seen his smiling face, although he took care of her in every detail, the time that she had to be discharged from hospital in one month was shortened to ten days.
Warsaw was already cold! And he was cold without a smile every day.
Amanda didn’t dare to say anything but whine inwardly.
Miller White looked at the girl and sighed in frustration, wrapping the blanket around her in a gentle motion.
“Amanda, I’m blaming myself, can’t you see that?”
“Huh?”
“I should have been the one standing in your way in that situation, but I neglected to take precautions and made you take the pain, so I blame myself.”
Amanda blinked, “so that was it? So you’re mad at yourself?”
Moving a little, the girl’s voice became even softer, “Miller, kiss me.”
Miller white, of course, would not refuse this request. He kissed her forehead and was about to leave when the girl stopped her lips.
