“Leonardo!”
A few seconds after Leonardo dragged her toward the door, she realized what was happening and started to struggle.
Unfortunately, she was not strong enough for Leonardo to take her seriously. Giving her no chances to explain herself, he was about to shove her out of the door. His rough handling of her made her hackles rise.
“Leonardo, can’t you talk sense? Are you an idiot? How could you believe those news reports? It’s okay that you’ve forgotten me; I don’t blame you. But how can you treat me like this just because of some freaking fake news? I’ll really get angry if you don’t stop!”
In the end, Summer had no idea what she was saying. She just spewed whatever was on her mind.
The sofa was near the door, and she was not sure if Leonardo had heard her.
Leonardo shoved her out of the doorway and tried to shake her hand off, but he could not.
He impatiently looked down at her with a frown. “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself, Summer?”
Summer stared defiantly at him, feeling indignant. She gritted her teeth. “I’m not!”
As soon as her voice trailed off, she curled her hand around his neck and pulled him down toward her.
Leonardo did not see it coming and was brought down to a height where Summer could kiss him. She looked up, her lips touching his with ease.
When they were together in the past, Leonardo had always been the one who made the move to kiss her.
All of her experience came from Leonardo. He was the one who had guided her.
There had only been a handful of occasions where she initiated the kiss.
She was clumsy at it. When her lips touched his, she just randomly kissed him and then bit him to vent her anger.
Her hand was still curled around his neck, and she could clearly feel his body freeze for a second.
The next moment, Leonardo slid his big hand behind her neck. His other hand, which Summer had been holding tightly, was wrapped around her waist to force her into his arms.
He had now turned around and taken control, intensifying the kisses.
Being forced into his arms, she leaned against his broad chest. All she heard now was their breathing.
How long had they not been this intimate? It had been ages.
Summer reached out to wrap her hands around his waist, and she tilted her head up to meet his kisses.
Her actions seemed to please him, and his kisses along with his breathing grew heavy.
He felt the woman in his arms, soft as water, as though he could accidentally snap her if he was not careful.
He fought back the urge to caress her with his hands, only to find his kisses becoming more and more unrestrained as well as overpowering.
A maid walking past saw them kissing in front of the door and had the shock of her life, dropping the plate in her hands on the floor.
The clanking noise woke them up. Coming to her senses and realizing someone else was there, Summer hurriedly tried to push Leonardo away.
As though it was not enough for Leonardo, he bit her lightly on the lip before they pulled away from each other.
The moment he released his hands, Summer immediately bounced two steps back.
Leonardo looked at the bloodstain at the corner of her mouth and licked his lips like he was yearning for more. He was the one who bit her lip just now.
Summer had also tasted the slightly salty, metallic taste of blood and knew that Leonardo had bitten her.
The same happened to Leonardo. She realized she had done the same to him, and she blushed.
Leonardo stared at her with his black eyes, his expression subtly changing. “Was that how passionate you were when you and Jerome kissed?”
Summer’s expression changed, her body stiffening while she was rooted to the spot. A few seconds later, she curled her fingers only to find that they felt cold.
She could not believe that Leonardo had said such a thing.
People said that Leonardo was a cold and scary man. However, they forgot that a man who could climb out of the abyss knew how to cherish the people and things around him.
As jealous as Leonardo was last time, he had never said such a hurtful thing.
They were adults, not kids anymore. They should know what kind of words hurt the most. Even if they were at the height of their anger, they had to remain restrained because they cared not to hurt each other with their tongue.
Summer’s expression turned from shock to dismay. Leonardo took it all in, and an unexplained fear rose within him. He was deeply engrossed in the thought.
Summer bit her lip, and her voice was slightly hoarse. “I can be even more passionate. Do you want to have a taste?”
She chuckled, raised her hand, and slapped him in the face. The blow sounded especially loud.
Leonardo’s head tilted, and one side of his face became red from the slap. However, the slap did not damage his perfect-looking face.
Summer’s hand felt numb. “Do you feel my passion now?”
Leonardo’s expression was as cold as ice. Even his eyes seemed to be covered in frost. “I underestimated you when I said you did whatever you wanted. You’re worse than that; you’re simply audacious.”
Unlike his expression, his voice did not sound that cold, but it was still scary enough.
Fear began to fill her heart. Why did she lose control and slap him in the face, but he had said something hurtful.
Summer bit her lip and sounded as if she could not care less. “What do you want?”
Leonardo was angry—so much so that he laughed. He nodded at her before he turned around. “Toss this woman out!”
The next moment, a few bodyguards came over to haul her away.
Summer was not sure if Leonardo meant it.
But obviously, those bodyguards feared Leonardo more than Summer did.
So, they dragged her and threw her out of the mansion.
Summer was flung to the ground. It was painful, and she was a little dumbfounded. Did Leonardo really mean it?
She slowly got back up and dusted her clothes, trying to stay positive. At least, she had managed to slap him once. It seemed like she still got the long end of the stick.
After they threw Summer out, the bodyguards came back in. “Young Master, it’s done. We have thrown her out.”
Leonardo looked at them in silence for a few seconds. “How?”
“We just threw her on the ground,” one bodyguard replied cautiously.
As soon as the bodyguard’s voice trailed off, Leonardo gave him a good kicking. “All of you really threw her out? When I told you to kill yourself, why didn’t you do it?”
