Chapter 426 You Love Me That Much

When Jessica heard that, she asked with a look of surprise, “He beats you? Your daddy actually beats you?”
She was initially just quipping for fun.
While she felt that Leonardo was a scary person, she did not think that he was a type that would beat up his three-year-old daughter.
How could he have the heart to beat such a soft fluffy dumpling like her?
Rosie lowered her head as she picked up a piece of rib with one of her hands and nibbled it. “Yeh.”
“How did daddy beat you?” Summer, of course, did not believe that Leonardo would strike Rosie.
Back when she lived with Leonardo, whenever Rosie angered him, he would put on a pissed off face at most.
“Like this…”
Rosie raised her hand to touch her face and noticed that she was holding the spare ribs in her hand, so she put down the chopsticks in her hand and pinched her face.
“He… beats me like this.” As she said that, she even emphasized her words like the little adult she was.
While she spoke, she did not forget to continue nibbling on her spare rib.
The little girl had good teeth and loved to chew on bones.
At that moment, even Summer could not help but laugh along.
“Next time, when Mommy sees Daddy, Mommy will help you beat him!” Summer smiled as she spoke.
Rosie nodded. “Go home.”
Summer’s expression faded somewhat.
Only then she realized that Rosie missed Leonardo.
While in the afternoon Leonardo had lost his temper at home, but Rosie was just a child, and had already forgotten about it.
Summer did not answer Rosie.
Rosie seemingly just said it casually and continued to eat.
“I haven’t finished what I was saying earlier.”
Jessica continued the topic. “That time in the Golden Cauldron, I saw the big boss feed Rosie and even pour soup between two bowls to cool them down. I really felt that the big boss looked gentle right then.
Even so, when Leonardo spoke, he returned to his original form.
Young Master Emerson may be a good man at heart, but more often than not, he was the frightening Leonardo.
Summer imagined the scene in her head.
When she lived together with Leonardo, she was the one who took care of Rosie. She had never seen how Leonardo took care of Rosie during meals.
That aside, as she thought about Leonardo’s current situation, Summer’s heart tensed up.
After dinner, she needed to give Tim a call to check on Leonardo’s situation.
If she had not been afraid that Leonardo’s condition might affect Rosie, Summer would have gone to look for him now.
Before Summer could even give Tim a call, the latter called her.
The moment she saw the call was from Tim, she felt her heart tightening.
Summer put down her chopsticks and walked to a corner to answer the call.
“Tim, what’s wrong?”
Tim’s tone was a little uncomfortable. “The young master is losing his temper, when he was having dinner, he said the food tasted wrong…”
Losing his temper because the food tastes wrong?
Leonardo’s current memories were stuck at when he was around twenty years old?
She never thought that he had such a temper back then.
“He’s throwing stuff again?” Summer asked.
“Nothing so far…” Tim looked at the servant standing in the hall. “He might be throwing people around soon though.”
Summer demurred for a moment. “I’ll come over now.”
She hung up and walked over as Jessica asked with a low voice, “Tim called?”
” Yeah, I might need to go there for a while,” Summer said and looked at Rosie.
Rosie was always the first to finish her meal and had run to the side to play.
Jessica twirled her finger on the cup and said, “Go ahead. I’ll look after Rosie. She loves to play with me now.”
“She napped for quite a while during the afternoon, so you might need to entertain her for a good while. Don’t you have work tomorrow?” Summer did not mind troubling Jessica, but she was afraid that it might affect her work.
“Nope. Screw work, I just want to eat, sleep, drink, and relax.” Jessica leaned back against the chair and looked particularly lazy.
Summer sounded a little helpless. “I’m being serious.”
Jessica smiled and straightened herself. “I really don’t have any work. Go! Want to drive my car?”
“Yes.” It would be late by the time she came back, and it was more convenient to drive.

When Summer drove over to Leonardo’s villa, he was tormenting his servants.
He had asked the servants to cook one by one, but not all of the servants were hired cooks, so their cooking skills were uneven.
When Summer walked in, Leonardo was commenting on one of the servant’s dishes, and he did not show any mercy.
“How did you even come up with this nonsense?”
“Who are you trying to poison with such cooking?”
Aside from Leonardo’s voice, there was no other sound in the hall. It was so quiet that you could even hear a needle fall.
So, when Summer walked in, her footsteps were particularly noticeable.
The servants turned to Summer and looked at her for help.
Summer pursed her lips and was a little helpless as well.
In the past, she might have been able to help them, but now she could barely protect herself.
Leonardo sat in the chair and tilted his head a little as he raised his eyebrow, his tone slothful. “It’s you.”
He had not touched the table that was full of cold dishes.
Summer frowned a little. “What do you want to eat? I’ll make it for you.”
Leonardo looked at her with a half-smile. “You purposely came here to cook for me? You love me that much?”
Summer was in no mood to play games with him. “If you don’t specify it, I’ll just make whatever.”
As she said that, she went straight to the kitchen.
It was late now, and the only thing she could cook was a bowl of noodles.
When Tim called her, it was probably just a “do your best” sort of situation.
Summer was unsure deep down if Leonardo still liked her cooking, but she could only give it a try.
Very quickly, she made a bowl of spicy beef noodles and brought them out.
The scent of the chili oil wafted out and caused Leonardo to look sideways.
Summer put the bowl of noodles before him and said, “Eat it.”
“Just a bowl?” Leonardo raised his eyelid, motioning at the other dishes on the table.
All of the other dishes looked exquisite and beautiful, and the ingredients were also pretty fancy.
“A bowl isn’t enough?” Summer pretended to not understand what he said, and instead replied, “I’ll make another when you finish this one.”
Leonardo squinted slightly. The woman had deliberately misinterpreted what he meant and was not afraid of him at all.
He sneered and pointed at a servant. “You, come and eat it.”
The servant looked at Summer apologetically but could only obediently eat the bowl of noodles.
However, because Summer’s cooking skills were top-notch, the servant even finished the soup.
Leonardo gave Summer a provocative glance.
Summer’s lips twitched, and she said, “I’ll make another bowl for you.”
