Vicky’s voice was hoarse, reeking of hatred. “Summer, you thought you won after you sent me into jail! But you didn’t expect me to come out this quick, did you?”
She was forcing the words through her teeth toward the end of the sentence as if she was about to crawl out of the phone to bite Summer.
“You brought the evil on yourself,” Summer said faintly.
Vicky just sneered at her. “We’ll see.”
The call from Vicky had ruined her good mood. The last thing she wanted now was to listen to Vicky’s psychopathic blather, so she hung up.
Turning her head around, she saw that Leonardo was staring at her.
Within his glossy black eyes shimmered an emotion that she could not understand. Perhaps he had heard her telephone conversation and knew that the caller was Vicky.
As though she was the most important person in Vicky’s life, the first thing Vicky did after she was released was to call and agitate her. However, she knew long ago that Adams would find a way to get Vicky out from jail. She did not realize that it would be so quick.
After all the scandals, Adams must have been desperate and holding grudges against Leonardo. That was probably why he was quick in securing Vicky’s release.
“Her release is just a matter of time,” Summer said.
“I know.” Leonardo looked down to hide the emotions in his eyes. That was his typical reaction when he was not in the mood.
Summer moved up beside him, tilting her head to look at him as she spoke. “Don’t let a nonentity ruin our mood. Let’s go back to the old residence on New Year’s Eve tomorrow. Hey, you know what, it’s our first New Year together! So be happy, okay?”
Her words seemed to work, and Leonardo turned his head to look at her.
Ever since she found out that she was pregnant, Summer had not put on any makeup. She was young, and she had no bad habits, so she was just as beautiful as she was when she wore makeup. Her skin was fair, and her eyes were bright. She looked a little innocent yet extremely attractive.
Leonardo could not help but desire to kiss her.
“Douglas’s here!” Summer quickly put her hand on his forehead to stop him.
Leonardo turned his head around, glancing at Douglas in disdain.
Douglas was sitting on the sofa on the opposite side, eyes glued to his mobile phone. Sensing the glare, he looked up and had a staring competition with Leonardo. He could not understand why he was getting a scornful look from Leonardo; he was just sitting there minding his own business.
“Let’s go, then.” Leonardo patted Summer on the head, got to his feet, and led her toward the door.
The bodyguards had loaded the luggage that Summer had packed into the car. Tim had been given leave, so the driver was Summer’s everyday driver.
…
Inside the car outside the prison.
“Hello? Summer?”
Holding her mobile phone in front of her eyes, Vicky finally realized that Summer had hung up on her.
“How dare that b*tch hang up on me!” She was furious.
Sitting beside her, Adams put out the cigarette in his hand and spoke with a husky tar-smoked voice. “We’re almost there. Let’s go home first.”
Her anger disappeared as soon as Adams spoke. Vicky smiled flirtatiously as she leaned over to him. “You treat me so well. Thank you for everything!”
She really liked Adams. She had stopped fooling around at parties since she fell for him. She had not made out with men for a long time. With the man she loved now in front of her, she fantasized about making it work between them.
She never expected Adams to get her out of jail. When she lost all hope and thought that she would spend the next three years in jail, the man she loved came to her rescue. It was like being lifted out of hell and put into heaven.
She was snuggled up in Adams’s arm, her hand slipping under his clothes and undoing the buttons on his shirt. She then fondled his chest with her little hand. Smelling the scent of his body, she almost lost herself in it.
“Adams…”
Vicky leaned in even closer, her lips coming up to kiss him. However, Adams creased his brow and turned his head away, avoiding her lips. He did not push her away, though.
Her kisses landed on his chin, but she did not mind at all. Instead, she continued to kiss him as she moved down his neck, leaving behind a trail of hickeys. While she worked past his Adam’s apple, she spent more time and effort in gingerly kissing that part of him.
Vicky had begun having s*x early in life. She was a regular in various parties as well as social clubs, and she was amazing in bed. Naturally, she was a dab hand at seducing men.
Adams did not allow her to kiss his lips, but he did not stop her from caressing him either. Not long after, Vicky could sense his breathing becoming heavier.
She had long felt aroused. Leaning close to his ear, she flirtatiously said, “Adams, don’t you want me?”
“Why are you so horny?” Adams spoke with his husky voice.
Vicky got even more aroused when she heard what Adams said. “Mmm… do you like it?”
She was expecting Adams to make his move, but the next moment, she received a cruel reply. “I don’t like it one bit, it’s disgusting.”
She was stunned. She saw Adams’s disdainful expression, but she did not mind it. Instead, she held his hand. “But you’re having a hard-on now.”
“I want to…” She held his manhood and stroked it. The lust in her eyes was irrepressible.
Adams did not push her away. Instead, he tapped her lips. “Use this.”
Vicky was overjoyed. It was the first time Adams had allowed her to help him with it.
Undoing his leather belt, she crawled down to his loin.
Even if Adams had self-restraint, he almost lost himself to the attack of a sexual veteran like Vicky.
“Faster…” He groped her hair in a rough manner, breathing heavily.
…
When Summer and Leonardo arrived at the old residence, they went straight into Leonardo’s bedroom and got some rest.
The last they came, his bedroom still remained untouched. It was just like he left it when he was a teen. This time, however, it had been renovated, and it appeared appropriately mature as well as plush. But Summer would have rather retained the former look.
At noon, a maid came to inform them about lunch.
Summer only realized that they were the last to arrive when they got to the dining room.
“Where is Adams? Why didn’t he come?” Grandpa Emerson’s powerful voice was heard as soon as they sat down.
“He went out to run some errands. It must be about work, I’m sure.” The person who spoke was Adams’s mother, Violet.
Grandpa Emerson did not look very pleased, but he said nothing.
Summer thought of Vicky’s call that morning. She probably knew where Adams went: he was off to pick Vicky up, for sure.
