“How long have you been planning this?” Tiffany clung to Aiden tightly as they both entered the house.
“For a while,” Aiden smiled.
“How long?” Tiffany asked again.
“Hmmm, a couple of months?” He stopped walking and turned to look at her.
“I’ve been looking for the best proposal and I had to do it carefully because you’re so hard to please,” he smiled, leaned closer, and kissed her lips.
“What? I am hard to please?” Tiffany widened her eyes and pulled away.
“By the way, why do you look like this?” Aiden furrowed his eyes and bored his eyes into her.
“How do l look?”
“I don’t know, it’s hard to tell. Do you have difficulty sleeping? You have eye bags,” he caressed her cheek.
“Oh, I don’t know what’s wrong,” she sighed and pulled away.
“Are you okay?”
“Aiden,” she called softly and collapsed on the couch beside her.
“Baby.”
Tiffany opened her bag, removed the pregnancy letter, handed it over to him, and then covered her face with her palm.
“This… Anny… You…”
“I am pregnant,” she sniffed.
“Goodness,” Aiden covered his mouth and knelt in front of her.
“I don’t know how it happened. I am very sure I was using those pills. I don’t know how this happened and I…”
“What are you saying? You think I don’t want a baby?” Aiden creased his brows.
“I… you might think I’m trying to pin you with a baby,” she sulked.
“What the… baby!”
“You have no idea how happy I am right now. You have my baby growing inside you and I am fucking happy about that! God!” He exclaimed.
“Aiden,” Tiffany purred.
“God. I love you very much!” He pulled her into a tight hug.
“Are you very happy about us having a baby?” She muffled.
“God damn me if I’m not. This is the best news of my life,” he looked into her eyes and kissed her.
“Goodness… Thank you…” she cried.
“You don’t want a baby?” Aiden cupped her cheek in his palm.
“Of course, I do. I thought you didn’t and it frightens me.”
“You have little Anny growing inside you.”
“No. It’s a boy.” Tiffany sniffed and shook her head.
“You want a boy?” Aiden laughed.
“Of course. A boy who looks so much like you.”
“Why?” Aiden laughed.
“I definitely don’t want a daughter like me, trust me,” Tiffany shook her head, and Aiden laughed.
7 months later.
“Are you sure you’re okay? You’ve been frowning more than usual today, Zoey said to Tiffany as they were finally left alone in the room.
“Of course, I am. It was so crowded and I didn’t like it,” she hissed and scratched her big stomach.
“Are you for real?” Zoey laughed.
“Yes. How are you feeling, by the way, it’s your wedding today,” she giggled.
“Did you feel so nervous when you were getting married? My legs are practically shaking,” Zoey laughed.
“Trust me, I felt very nervous, plus I was pregnant. It felt as if my stomach was exposed to people,” she shook her head.
“Why would you feel that? Your stomach hadn’t started bulging when you got married. You guys got married just one week after Aiden’s proposal.”
“I know, right?”
“It’s still funny though. We were expecting a marriage celebration probably two months later or more! Only for Aiden to announce your marriage the following day!” Zoey started and laughed.
“He said he didn’t want me to stay away from him any longer. He sure wasn’t expecting pregnancy news that night,” Tiffany said.
“Turns out you both surprised each other,” Zoey said, and they both laughed.
“I guess my surprise was more surprising,” she laughed.
“I bet!” Zoey laughed and soon stopped laughing as Tiffany’s facial expression totally changed.
“I think my water just broke,” she widened her eyes.
“What?!” Zoey sprang up, threw the bouquet of flowers, and dashed toward Tiffany.
“Are you okay? I’ll get Aiden!”
“Hurry!” she screamed as beads of sweat already gathered on her forehead.
Zoey dashed out of the room, pulling her wedding gown, and tried to run as fast as she could.
**
“What are you doing here?” Xyler furrowed his brow as Zoey burst open.
“Aiden…! Tiff… Tiffany, her water just broke!” she said breathlessly.
“Fuck!” he dipped the velvet box into his pocket and rushed out, Zoey followed suit, and then Declan.

Wesley Hospital.
It’s been over twenty minutes since Tiffany and Aiden had been behind that closed door. Declan, Zoey, Marlie, President Han, Vanessa, Skyler, Xyler, Aiden’s parents, and a few other close friends stood patiently, waiting for the good news the Doctor would bring.
After what seemed like an eternity, the door creaked open, and Aiden walked out, removing the nose mask.
“Everyone!” he squealed in excitement.
“My wife delivered a baby girl!” he clapped his hands.
“Guy!” Declan shook hands with him and pulled him into a hug.
“Congratulations!” They greeted.
“Since you’ve all heard the news, you guys should return to the venue. Declan is getting married, remember? The guests would be getting upset already.
“Nah, I’m not leaving here,” Zoey pouted.
“What do we do when the bride doesn’t want to attend her own wedding?” Vanessa chuckled.
“You guys should leave. I’ll stay with her, together with mum,” Aiden said, and Martha grinned in excitement.
After a few more minutes of persuasion, they all turned to leave.
“Xyler!” Aiden called out and the guy looked back.
“Here,” he removed the box which contained rings and threw it at him.
Xyker smiled, crossed his chest with his fist, and then turned to leave.
“Shall we go and see her now?” impatiently, Martha asked.
“Sure, mum.” Aiden nods his head.
