Marlie and Zoey helped Tiffany sit up and Lawrence rushed to them.
“You really scared us,” he sniffed as he sat on the bed beside her.
“How long have I been unconscious?” Tiffany asked.
“Hmm, it’s not up to an hour, I guess,” Lawrence tilted his head.
“And y’all think I’ve dîed?” Tiffany raised her brows.
“The doctor even announced you dead!” Zoey and Marlie snapped.
“Anyways, I am glad you made it,” Lawrence smiled and then pulled her into a hug.
“D… Did the demon leave finally?” She asked as they disengaged from the hug.
“Of course! It left finally,” Declan answered instead.
“I see, no wonder I feel weak than normal,” she nods her head and then raised her head to look at Aiden who only stared at her.
“Babe?” Tiffany called out.
Lawrence stood up, walked towards Aiden, and then pulled him toward Tiffany.
Aiden settled on the bed beside her and then pulled her into a hug immediately.
“I thought I was going to lose you,” he said shakily.
“Nah, that wouldn’t happen,” Tiffany shook her head, broke the hug, and looked into his eyes while the guy cupped her cheeks in his palm.
“You scared me. You have no idea what was running through my mind when I thought I was going to lose you,” he said and a drop of tears fall from his eyes.
“Babe,” Tiffany shook her head and then raised her hand to wipe off the tears.
“Thank you, Anny. Thank you, for being strong and winning over the demon. I promise that I am going to love you for the rest of my life,” he cried and hugged her again.
“You better fulfill your promise,” Tiffany joked and then patted his back gently.
“Yes, I will.”
After a few seconds, they disengaged from the hug, “Huh, I’m pressed, I need to visit the restroom,” Tiffany pressed her lips together.
“Okay,” Aiden stood up and then stretched his hand for her to take it.
However, as Tiffany stood from the bed, holding Aiden’s hand, her legs failed her and she fell on Aiden who was quick to catch her from falling.
“Are you okay?” Aiden furrowed his brows.
“I feel so weak,” Tiffany exhaled.
“What? Why do you have to feel weak?” Zoey asked and hurried towards her.
“It’s common sense. The demon has been inside her right from birth. They grew together and she was stronger than men. Now that the demon is gone, it’s only right for this to happen,” Declan explained and Marlie hissed at him.
“Thanks for your explanation.”
“Are you okay? Should I help you to the restroom?” Aiden asked.
“Nah, I can manage. I’m a strong lady, remember?” she chuckled and then pulled away from him gently.
“No, I don’t think you can do this alone,” Aiden said as he hurriedly grab her from falling again.
“Gosh, why do I feel like I’m being controlled by some external forces,” Tiffany chuckled and rested her hands on his shoulders.
“I guess that’s because you’re now normal. Very normal,” Lawrence chuckled with a smile on his face.
“It’s not bad though, I think it’d be great to finally see you rely on someone,” Zoey shrugged her shoulder.
“Hey,” Tiffany hissed.
“Yeah, I think she’d stop beating up people also,” Declan nods his head.
“She used to beat people up?” Lawrence raised his brows.
“You don’t know? She was a Kung Fu,” Zoey giggled.
“Are you guys seriously doing this to my babe?” Aiden frowned.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine,” Tiffany pouts childishly.
“Should I take you to the bathroom?” Aiden whispered in her ear.
“Yes, please,” Tiffany answered.
“Are you seriously going to enter the bathroom with her?” Lawrence asked as he watched Aiden lift, Tiffany, from the ground and began to walk toward the bathroom.
“That’s what it looks like,” Declan answered.
“Kids of nowadays,” Lawrence shook his head.
“I think you should worry more about Marlie, not Tiffany,” Declan rolled his eyes.
“Idîot,” Marlie gritted her teeth.
“Anyways, I should call the workers back. Their holiday is over,” Lawrence exhaled.
“Wait, for real?” Declan frowned.
“Will you clean the entire house when it gets dirty?” he asked and then turned to leave.
“Your dad is something,” Zoey whispered to Declan.
“I can’t believe I’m agreeing with you,” he shook his head and they both laughed.

“Congratulations on defeating Akilang,” Harengon said to Medusa with a smile on her face.
“No, it wouldn’t have happened without everyone’s support,” she answered.
“Come on, you’re being humble,” Water guardian smiled.
“Chephirah,” Harengon called out in a rather intimidating voice.
“Yes?”
“You broke the rule of nature and I know you are very aware of what you did.”
“You appeared in front of the human, Lawrence, and told him to send everyone out of the house,” Harengon said.
“I believe I did the right thing. It would have been a disaster if everyone saw her in that state. Even if Akilang finally leaves, she will never blend well with those that saw her in Akilang’s form,” she answered.
“However, I will receive whatever punishment that you give me,” she added.
“Then, will you explain why you opened their eyes to witness the fight?”
“I just thought it would be great if they saw it,” Chephirah answered and everyone murmured at her answer.
“You are suspended from your position for the next four full moons,” Harengon blurted.
Chephirah glanced at her and then at Benroy who was picking on his fingers sadly.
“I’ll gladly receive my punishment,” she bowed.
“You won’t come to the gatherings, neither will you use your powers till your suspension is over,” Harengon added.
“I get it,” Chephirah nods her head.

“So this a freshly baked cake. I bet you’ll love it,” Martha grinned as she dropped the cake on the table in front of Theodore.
“You sure?” Theodore teased.
“Trust me,” she winked, cut a slice from the cake with a fork and knife, and then fed her husband.
“Hmm, I think it is great,” Theodore grinned after he had swallowed it.
“See, I told you,” she smiled.
“Martha,” Theodore held her hand as she tried to cut another slice.
“Why don’t you invite Aiden and Lawrence’s daughter over?”
“You mean that demon girl?” Martha frowned.
“Martha. All of this is our fault. Don’t you think?”
“Wait, don’t you get scared whenever you think of that girl with Aiden?” Martha asked.
“I don’t. In fact, I don’t hate that girl. She’s just a result of our mistakes,” Theodore said.
“Don’t be like this, Theo. I’m scared of that girl,” Martha hissed.
“Martha, you want the best for Aiden, don’t you?”
“Of course, I do.”
“Then, let’s invite the girl over, please,” Theodore pleaded.
“Okay, I’ve heard you” she exhaled.
“Martha,” Theodore called out again.
“I’ve heard you, Theo, I’ll invite her over,” she said half-heartedly and Theodore knew she wasn’t interested in doing anything of such.
But he was not going to drag it further, they had just settled their differences, thanks to their son’s wisdom.
“By the way, Theo, I’m going to call for a press conference,” she said as she leaned forward to the table to cut a slice from the cake.
“Why?”
“I’m going to announce you as my husband,” she said and dip a slice of cake in her mouth.
“Huh?” Theodore raised his brows.
“I’m rectifying my mistakes, remember?” She flashed a smile at him.

Xyler smiled as the movie he was watching on the Television finally come to an end.
“Movies like this should not be watched alone,” he murmured as the soundtrack for the song started.
He turned around as he heard footsteps descending the stairs and kept staring at his twin brother who wore black shorts, a white round neck, and white sneakers.
“Huh, bro,” Skyler walked toward him.
“Where are you going?” Xyler frowned.
“I’m going to the police to turn myself in. I have evidence that those guys and me kîlled Luna, so…”
“Can you not go?” Xyler interrupted him.
“Yeah?” Skyler raised his brows.
“Don’t go. Go apologize on Luna’s grave and that’s all. Don’t turn yourself in… Please…” Xyler swallowed deeply.
“Bro…” Skyler pressed his lips together.
“Don’t go.”

Lawrence residence.
Declan, Marlie, and Zoey had gone to the restaurant to get their food, while Aiden sat in the room, on the bed with Tiffany talking about random stuff.
Meanwhile…
“You’re on punishment, you can’t do this again,” Benroy tried to stop Chephirah who stood in front of the couple.
“Well, I’m going to do this,” she shrugged her shoulder, and walked towards the couple, enchanting some spell that made Tiffany see her.
“W… What…” Tiffany widened her eyes in shock.
There’s no way Akilang is back.
“No worries, dear. I made you see me,” Chephirah smiled.
“What’s wrong, Anny?” Aiden asked.
“No… Nothing. Just hold on,” Tiffany waved her hand at him.
“How are you?” Chephirah asked.
“Why do I miss you for some reason?” Tiffany joked.
“You should, I am more like your guardian angel,” Chephirah chuckled.
“How do you feel?” Chephirah asked.
“Weak. Why do I feel so weak? It seemed as if I’m being controlled by air,” she answered.
“What do you expect? Your mother had you when you were just seven months. Akilang made you strong,” Chephirah answered.
“Ah… I see,” she nods her head.
“Stretch your hand forward,” Chephirah ordered and Tiffany obeyed.
“Do you remember the ring I gave you? You probably don’t see it again,” Chephirah said and then removed it.
“So… Will I not be seeing you again?” Tiffany asked.
“Even if I come, you won’t be able to see me,” she answered.
“Ah, I see,” she nods her head with an awkward smile.
“Eat well, grow well, make many friends. Don’t fight, I bet you can’t even do that anymore. Don’t keep grudges. Have fun. Life’s too short to not be obsessed with yourself, so whenever you’re down, remind yourself that you are the strongest person on earth. Tiffany, I hope you live well, huh?” She smiled and leaned forward to pat her hair.
However, before her hand could reach her hair, she vanished right in front of Tiffany’s eyes.
“C… Chephirah?” Tiffany looked around as tears fall freely from her eyes.
“Baby?” Aiden creased his brows.
‘Life is so unpredictable. The person that used to nag you very much turns out to be the one who cares the most for you.’
