“Vanessa, babe. Vanessa.”
“Uhm… I don’t know who you are,” Aiden stuttered and glanced at Tiffany who was already staring at him.
The girl didn’t hear that, right?
“Aiden, come on. Your girl…” she didn’t get to finish before Aiden ended the call.
“Who is that?” Tiffany raised a brow.
“Oh, spam call. Yeah, it’s a spam call,” he nodded his head, hoping he had convinced the lady.
“Spam call?” Tiffany twitched her mouth to the side.
“Yes,” he nodded his head and picked up his spoon.
“And her name is Vanessa, right?” Tiffany raised her brows, not tearing her eyes off Aiden.
“Where did you hear that?” Aiden creased his brows.
“You know better that my ears wouldn’t fail me,” Tiffany said.
“I guess your ears are failing you then,” Aiden said, looked away, and resumed eating.
“Really, Aiden?” Tiffany frowned.
Meanwhile, Declan and Zoey could only watch the couple in front of them anxiously.
It was as if they were walking on thin ice since the couple are starting to take things too personally.
“Babe, come on. Eat your food, don’t worry yourself unnecessarily, okay?” he reached out to her and caress her cheek.
“Aiden,” Tiffany bit her lower lips.
“Baby…” Aiden sighed.
“Okay,” Tiffany nodded her head and then resumed eating.

After the lunch break, in the lounge.
“What’s up with you too? I thought you settled your fight already, what was that at the cafeteria?” Declan asked Aiden as soon as they entered the lounge.
Tiffany and Aiden didn’t say a word to each other till they finished eating and Tiffany left for class.
Although, Aiden had tried to talk to her, the lady had only shunned him.
“Dude, Vanessa fûcking called me right there!” Aiden ran his hand through his hair and collapsed on the couch.
“Vanessa?” Declan widened his eyes.
“I’m still not sure, but I clearly heard the voice. She said she was Vanessa, and that was Vanessa’s voice. I’m going cràzy, right?”
“Wait, did Tiffany hear that?” Declan raised a brow.
“She did. You know how she is. She heard it,” Aiden clasped his hands together.
“Fûck.”
“What are you going to tell Tiffany?” Declan added.
“I don’t know, I’ll just keep denying it. I can’t admit to that. She could take it the wrong way and believe that I’ve been in touch with Nessa,” Aiden said.
“You’re not going to call her Nessa in front of Tiffy, right?” Declan beaded his brows.
“What’s wrong?” Aiden shrugged his shoulder.
“Whatever,” Declan hissed.
“Come on, dude.”
“You’re seriously going to call your ex-girlfriend by the name you used to call her when you guys were dating. Are you dumb?” Declan frowned and at that moment, the door creaked open and Xyler entered.
“Hey, guys,” he smiled stylishly.
“Hey, what’s up,” Declan waved his hand at him.
“Hi,” Aiden only said.
“I’m here to tell you guys something actually,” he pressed his lips together.
He could sense that something was going on between the dudes and this time it seems like Aiden was in the wrong and Declan was scolding him.
“What is that?” Declan asked.
“I asked Skyler last night how he knew about the club Luna went to and guess what? He flared up, accusing me of asking him questions that seems like I was doubting him.”
“So, what did you say?” Aiden asked.
“I told him I wasn’t doubting him but he wasn’t having any of it, so, he left the house angrily,” he answered.
“Hmm,” Aiden nods his head.
“Do you guys exchange gifts?” He asked.
“Gift?”
“Yeah, can you give him a present without him getting suspicious of you?” Aiden asked.
“Sure, we mostly apologize by giving each other presents,” Xyler answered.
“Then, is there something he wants that you are aware of?”
“I don’t think so,” Xyler shook his head.
“Are you sure?” Aiden asked.
“Yes. There’s nothing… Hold on, there’s this diamond earring I think he likes. We went out together one day to get jewelry for his girlfriend on her birthday, and I saw him appreciating an earring. He didn’t buy it because the money with him wasn’t enough and I couldn’t support it because my account was frozen, ” Xyler explained.
“That’s nice. You should buy it for him then,” Aiden smiled.
“What do you mean?”
“Buy the earring for him, I think he would really appreciate it,” he smiled and then spaced out.

One week later, Friday morning.
The school trip.
The students of Western high school gathered on the school compound, gisting and chatting, and all excited about the trip they were about to embark on.
Aiden, Tiffany, Zoey, and Declan stood together, gisting, just like the others.
Zoey wore white bum shorts, a black crop top, and then white jordan shoes, While Tiffany wore a boyfriend jean she had shopped with Marlie a few days ago and then topped it with a body hug, and then a sneaker.
Aiden and Declan both wore the same knickers and white round neck, matching it with palm.
“Don’t you think something is going on, guys? The teachers have been inside there for the past thirty minutes,” Zoey frowned as she glanced at the dean’s office that was across them.
“I thought it was only me. I hope they won’t be coming up with the shit they did three years ago,” Declan hissed.
“What happened three years ago?” Tiffany asked.
“The trip destination was changed at the very last moment,” Aiden answered.
“Oh, I see.”
“I liked the fact that it was changed though. It was very exciting going somewhere you have no plans for,” Zoey giggled.
“You think so?” Declan raised his brows.
“Yes,” she grinned.
After a few minutes had passed, the dean walked out of the office, together with the teachers.
*
“We’re sorry for keeping you guys waiting for so long, and I’m more sorry that there’s a change in our plan,” she announced.
“Fûck, as if I knew!” Declan hissed.
“Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we wouldn’t be able to go to Poconos as planned but instead, there’s somewhere exciting for us all. Orlando!” She screamed at top of her voice and everyone shouted.
“Fûck, Orlando?!” Zoey widened her eyes.
“Orlando?” Declan and Aiden mouthed.
“Excited, right?!” The dean shouted and everyone screamed out in excitement.
“A memo has been released and has been sent to your guardians. We’re leaving in an hour. I hope you’re all ready?!”
*
“Fûck, that’s huge. I wasn’t expecting this,” Zoey giggled.
“Why was the destination changed?” Tiffany frowned.
“I guess this is a sponsored trip,” Declan answered.
“I can’t imagine who is behind this,” Aiden creased his brow.
“Same here, the one that happened three years ago was sponsored by my dad,” Declan said.
“So, we have no idea who sponsored this, right?” Zoey asked.
“It will probably be revealed when we get to Orlando,” Declan answered.

After one hour had reached, and the students had gathered to walk slowly out of the big gate to enter the bus that was taking them to the airport, where private planes had been preserved for the students of Western high school, the big gate opened and a car drove in.
Everyone watched the car that had just driven past them and waited in anticipation for the driver or passenger to get down from the well-polished Mercedes Benz.
After a few seconds of waiting, the door of the passenger seat opened, and a lady got down from the car majestically.
Even though they were seeing her back view, some of them knew that the person was screaming money, judging by her dress and the way she stood.
She wore her black sunshade and then turned swiftly to face the students who were dying to see her and walked slowly towards them.
¶¶
“She is so hot!”
“Why does she look so familiar?”
“Doesn’t she look like Vanessa?”
“Wait, Vanessa?!”
“It’s Vanessa!”
“The fashion queen of Western high school!”
“She’s back!”
¶¶
Everyone murmured, their eyes widened in excitement as they recognized the lady approaching them.
Vanessa scrutinized the crowd and as soon as she caught Aiden amidst them, she turned in his direction.
“Hi, baby, I’m back,” she stopped in front of Aiden and then removed her sunshade slowly, wearing her prettiest smile.
“Vanessa?” Aiden furrowed his brows.
There was no way he was seeing Vanessa right now.
“Yes, babe, it’s me. Nessa,” She smiled, moved closer to Aiden, and pulled him into a hug, not caring about the murmurs and looks from the students.
Tiffany only stared in disgust.
Huh, as if calling her boyfriend wasn’t enough, she even had the guts to show up.
“Oh, my. I’ve missed you so much,” she disengaged from the hug and glanced at Declan who was only scratching his forehead.
“OMG, Dec!” She rushed towards him and pulled him into a hug.
“I’ve missed you guys so much! You can only imagine,” she smiled as she disengaged from the hug.
“What are you doing here?” Aiden frowned.
“What am I doing here? Come on, I’m back. And guess what? I’m joining the school trip. You have no idea what I had to give to join the school trip,” she shook her head.
While this was going on, Tiffany and Zoey could only stare at the lady from her hair to her toe.
“Huh, why do I smell trouble already?”
Tiffany tilted her head as she wondered.
“Oh, I’m sorry for my rude manner, I am Vanessa. The fashion queen of Western high school, the invisible pole that keeps the DAX going. Aiden’s true love. The…”
“All this title for you?” Tiffany twitched her mouth in disgust.
“Uhm… Yeah, sure. You might not know but I have many more titles,” she giggled to hide the embarrassment she just felt from the girl.
“Oh, I see. By the way, I am Tiffany, Aiden’s girlfriend,” she snorted.
“Aiden’s girlfriend?” Vanessa raised her brows.
“Aiden, you didn’t tell me you got a girlfriend,” Vanessa turned to face Aiden.
“Does he need to email you his every move after you ran away?” Zoey hissed.
“And, you are?”
“Zoey, Declan’s girlfriend,” Zoey answered with a fake smile on her face.
“Woah,” Vanessa smiled.
“Aiden, you know we have a lot to talk about, right? Especially…”
“Babe…” Tiffany interrupted.
“Yes, baby?” Aiden moved closer to Tiffany immediately.
“My stomach hurts, I think my period is coming,” she pressed her lips together.
“Really? Hey, Declan, I’m coming, okay?”
“Let’s go, babe,” Aiden wrapped his hand around her waist and walked slowly with her.
“We’re coming guys, and you… My boyfriend’s true love, have fun, huh?” She wrapped her hand around Aiden’s neck.
“That girl is a bîtch,” Zoey whispered into Declan’s ear with a giggle.
“I think Aiden’s is going to dîe,” Declan shook his head.
“I know Tiffany didn’t take him away for fun,” Zoey smiled.
“By the way, Declan, how is…”
“Sweetheart,” Zoey interrupted Vanessa.
“Yeah, babe?”
“I think the air is contaminated here, shall we go for a quick coffee?” She asked.
“So, coffee will make the air less contaminated, right?” Declan raised his brows.
“Yeah, baby,” Zoey pouted.
“Let’s go for a quick coffee then,” Declan smiled.
Vanessa clutched her handbag tightly with gritted teeth as she watched Declan and Zoey walk away.
What the fûck was that?!
Did Aiden and Declan just leave her standing because of those bîtches?!
Fûck!
This was the last thing she was expecting.
“Hi, I am Vance and I think you’re so beautiful,” a guy walked up to her with a smile.
“To hell with what you think,” she said through gritted teeth.
=
“Really, Aiden?” Tiffany pulled away from Aiden as soon as they entered the clinic that was on the first floor.
“Babe, I have no idea what is going on also,” he ran his hand through his hair.
“Do you think I was actually dumb to believe that it wasn’t her who called last week at the cafeteria? I wanted peace to reign so I decided to play dumb, but you cared less about me. You disrespected me by being in touch with her!” Tiffany snapped.
“I swear to God who made me, babe, I have never been in touch with her till she called me that day. I swear, she didn’t call since then and I did not that know she was going to show up also. I swear,” Aiden protested.
“How am I supposed to believe that?”
“Baby, just trust me. I have no idea this was going to happen, I swear,” Aiden swore.
“Whoa, she hugged you so tight, and you did nothing about her, you only watched her flirt with you!” Tiffany yelled.
“It’s not what you think, huh? I was just shocked to see her. I didn’t mean for her to hug me,” Aiden said.
“And what’s with the pole that keeps the DAX going? Laugh my fûcking ass out, Aiden’s true love?!” Tiffany rested her hands on her waist.
“Baby, you are my own true love. She is only living in her dream. I love you so much and I would never think of going back to that girl. I love you more than you can ever imagine. I love you. Just believe me, okay?” He reached out to her and placed his hands on her shoulder.
“Gosh, I’m smelling trouble from that girl! She’s fûcking annoying me already!” Tiffany groaned.
“Don’t let it get to you, okay? I am here,” Aiden reassured her, leaned closer, and then kissed her on the lips.
“Hello, peeps,” Declan knocked on the door, Zoey beside him.
“We’re ready to leave,” Zoey smiled.
“Yeah, your invincible pole is outside, waiting for you,” she moved away from Aiden, walked toward Zoey, grabbed her hand, and walked away with her.
“I can see your coffin already,” Declan shook his head.
“Screw you,” Aiden hissed.
==
Declan and Zoey sat side by side, hands locked together.
Vanessa entered next, she hurriedly sat on the double sitter, and took her seat by the window, hoping and waiting for Aiden to enter and take his seat beside her.
Tiffany entered next, and took her seat behind Vanessa’s seat, not failing to eye the lady with disgust as she walked past her.
As Aiden entered, Vanessa moved to the edge of the seat and waved at Aiden with a smile on her face.
Tiffany only watched to see whom Aiden was going to sit with.
Huh, she was going to kîll him if he made the wrong decision.
Aiden walked past Vanessa, slightly brushing her hand away, and settled beside Tiffany with a smile on her face.
“Sorry, I had to see that our bags were not left out,” he smiled.
“I thought you were going to dîe today,” Tiffany whispered in his ear.
“Why?” Aiden laughed which attracted Vanessa.
“Can you keep it low, please?” She grumbled.
“Do you have an earphone?” Tiffany leaned closer and asked.
“No, why?” Vanessa frowned.
“Nothing, I just think we’re still going to be loud. I wouldn’t want to inconvenience the invincible pole,” she shrugged her shoulder and rested her back.
“What?” Vanessa frowned and turned to face Tiffany.
“Didn’t you say your name was Invisible pole?” Tiffany raised a brow.
“It is Vanessa. VANESSA!” she snapped.
“Oh, invisible pole suits you better though,” she pressed her lips together.
“Hey!” Vanessa screamed, which attracted everyone on the bus.
“Huh, I wonder what Tiffany said to annoy her, ” Zoey shook her head as she looked away with a smile on her face.
“I can’t help but wonder too,” Declan shook his head.
He knew Tiffany was never going to carry last in this.
If she could make him feel humiliated when she joined the school, then who was Vanessa?
It’s only going to get interesting because the Vanessa he used to know wouldn’t love to carry last either.
She looked more determined than before.
Hehehe, why was he getting excited at that?

The reporter stared at the picture of Tiffany again and smiled widely.
This was going to make the people of New York City go crazy.
The supposedly perfect Senator Han is dating a minor.
Hehehe, this was more than enough to question the Senator.
The was more than enough to put his career at stake.
She smiled as she moved on to the next picture where the senator hugged the girl.
Damn, she really thanks her anonymous source who sent this to her in the morning.
She can only imagine the headlines in her head.
