“Babe! Anny! Tiffany!” Aiden shook Tiffany vigorously in fear.
He was just walking towards her when he saw her throw the bowl of popcorn away and wrapped her hand around her body in fear, with a scream, she closed her eyes shut.
He dropped the orange juice that was with him and the two glass cups he was holding, not minding how the glass cups shattered as soon as it touched the ground.
“Anny,” he pulled her into a hug and waited for her to loosen up and get conscious of her environment.
“I’m here, babe, chill…” He patted her back as he felt her shivering while he hugged her.
After a minute had passed, Tiffany exhaled, wrapped her hand slowly around Aiden, and buried her face in his chest.
Aiden worried about what might have made his girlfriend react that way, Tiffany had never gotten intimidated by anything whatsoever so seeing her like this only made him worried about what she had seen while he was away.
“It’s okay baby, I’m here with you, okay?” He whispered, patting her back.
Aiden felt his cloth getting wet, the girl was obviously as she was sniffing hard. God, what was happening now?
The mood was okay a few minutes back so what is wrong now?
After a few minutes had passed, when Aiden’s leg was already hurting as he wasn’t kneeling nor was he sitting, he had only bent low to her level and now that it was starting to hurt, he wouldn’t budge, hehehe, he dares not. Tiffany pulled away slowly and covered her face with her palm instantly.
“It’s okay, huh?” he reassured and removed her hand slowly and shook his head as he stared at her very swollen eyes. (;Let’s not talk about how red the eyeball was:)
“Do you want to talk about it?” He asked as he settled on the couch beside her in a way that they were facing each other.
“You didn’t see the tiger in front of me as you were coming?” Tiffany sniffed.
“I… Didn’t,” Aiden answered with an I’m not sure look.
“I saw a tiger, it was going to devour me,” Tiffany said and shook her body as she said it.
“A tiger here and it was going to devour you?” Aiden asked.
“You probably do not believe me,” Tiffany hissed and looked away.
“No, I do. I’ve never seen you like this so I believe what you say,” Aiden nodded his head and raised her chin, and then moved her face to look at him.
“I’m sorry,” Tiffany picked on her fingers nervously.
“Why? What are you sorry for?” Aiden raised his brows.
“I’m obviously inconveniencing you here,” she pouted.
“I didn’t say you were. You have no idea how glad I am to have you around me from morning till night,” Aiden shook his head and held her hands.
“Huh, it’s not like it’s going to last long,” Tiffany rolled her eyes.
“Then, after your eyes return to normal, let’s live together,” he winked at her mischievously.
“Pervert!” she snatched her hand and hit his chest.
“Ouch! How am I a pervert? It was obvious on your face that you’re feeling bad that it’s not going to last long, and I made a suggestion,” Aiden shrugged his shoulder off.
“Feel bad about it? Excuse you? I don’t feel bad about it at all. In fact, I can’t wait to go back to my normal life,” Tiffany scoffed.
“Huh, lie. I know how much you want to be with me. Just say it, baby,” Aiden grinned.
“No, I don’t want to be here at all,” Tiffany stuck her tongue out.
Aiden looked at her and then glanced at her lips, he leaned forward and kissed them shortly.
“Even after this?” he smiled mischievously as he watched her face turn red.
“Fûck, stop! You shouldn’t kiss me without my permission,” she said and covered her mouth.
“Do I need permission to kiss my girlfriend?”
“Yes.”
“Well…” he tilted his head, leaning closer to her.
“No. Ask for my permission,” Tiffany leaned backward.
“Oh,” Aiden sighed.
“Shît, I didn’t know that was still there,” Aiden creased his brow and pointed at nothing behind Tiffany.
As Tiffany turned to look at what the guy had pointed out, Aiden moved his face closer to her.
“What are…” Aiden kissed her lips as soon as she faced front, Tiffany widened her eyes and then took his upper lips in her mouth while the guy sucked her lower lips.
Damn, her guy was a great kisser.
As she was almost drunk already in the kiss, Aiden pulled away with a smirk.
“See someone who wants to give out permission.”
“That’s not funny, why did you pull away?” Tiffany pouted.
“Why? Was my kiss getting you wet already?” Aiden raised a brow.
“Shut up, pervert,” Tiffany hissed.
“Do you want me to kiss you again?” Aiden leaned forward and asked with a naughty smirk.
“Will you kiss me if I say yes?” Tiffany glared at him.
“Hmm, it depends,” Aiden tilted his head.
“How?”
“On how you say it of course. If you say just yes, ain’t kissing you. Just say, kiss me, baby, and I will,” Aiden spread out his hands.
“Excuse you? I can’t say that!” Tiffany snapped.
“Wow, what a way of begging for a kiss in a very unromantic manner.”
“Begging for a kiss? That’s a lie! I didn’t beg for a kiss,” Tiffany frowned.
“Oh?”
“Yes,” Tiffany nodded her head.
“Okay then,” Aiden said and looked away
“Aiden,” Tiffany pouted.
“Yes, babe?”
“Nothing,” Tiffany sucked her lower lips and looked away.
Aiden chuckled as he saw the expression on her face, his girl wanted to be touched and at the same time, she was trying to keep her pride.
He leaned forward, turn her face to look at him and kissed her lips shortly then leaned back.
“Stop teasing me,” Tiffany hissed.
“I wasn’t, you wanted me to kiss you.”
“Long kiss, not short,” Tiffany rolled her eyes.
“Then say it,” Aiden shrugged his shoulders.
“You’re such a bad, very wicked person,” Tiffany pouted and Aiden laughed.
“All along, I realized that I’ve been stressing myself when you’re actually in front of me.”
While Aiden was still processing what Tiffany said, the lady leaned forward and kissed him on the lips.
As he was about to kiss her back, Tiffany pulled away aggressively and held her shoulder.
Damn, the demon was about to begin with her.
“What’s wrong?” He frowned as he watched her caress her shoulder.
“Nothing,” she replied.
“Come on,” he moved closer to her and pulled up the baggy top that belonged to him that she was wearing.
“This…” He frowned as she saw the huge painting on her shoulder.
“You have a tattoo?” he creased his brow.
“It’s not a tattoo, dummy,” Tiffany snatched the cloth and stood from the couch.
“What is that on your shoulder?” he stood up.
“What’s that? Did you drop those?” she pointed at the broken glass cups.
“Yeah, earlier. What’s that on your shoulder?” Aiden asked again.
“It’s just there… I grew up with it,” she shrugged her shoulders walking towards it.
“Huh?”
“It’s a sign of Akilang, that’s the sign that it was trapped according to those creatures,” Tiffany answered and stopped by the shattered glass.
“Which creature? ”
“Those immortals that came here yesterday. I can’t mention their names,” Tiffany shook her head.
“Huh, you mean the lion spirit and mountain guardian, why?”
“They will appear here, claiming I summoned them,” Tiffany shrugged her shoulders.
“Wow. Hey, what are you going to do?” He asked as he watched her bent down.
“I wanna pack it of course,” she answered.
“You’ll get hurt, stand up, I’ll clean it up,” Aiden walked towards her.
“Huh, you know I won’t get hurt,” Tiffany shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t care, just stand up.”
“I don’t want to,” Tiffany shook her head as she picked a piece of the glasses.
“Don’t be stubborn,” Aiden walked towards her and pulled her up.
“Come on,” she eyed him.
“I’ll clean this up and the popcorn over there, just sit over there and watch me.”
“Okay,” Tiffany smiled and watched him walk away.
“Everything was set. I was supposed to be free already. Why the fûck am I still trapped in this damned body?!” Akilang growled.
“I don’t careeeeeee!” She drawled, walking to the couch.

Guardian’s meeting.
“Let’s be serious!” Harengon snapped at the tiger spirit who stood across the large meeting space in a tiger form.
“Yeah?” She growled.
“Did you find Akilang already?”
“Oh, that?” she said and transformed into a very beautiful young woman.
“I wasn’t expecting to see a very frail girl,” she shook her head and walked stylishly towards the rest, her long white gown flowing behind her.
“What did you do to her?” Chephirah frowned.
“Oh, I only went to scare her a little,” she said in an accent as she stared at her fingers.
“That girl is not Akilang, stay away from her,” Chephirah defended.
“Not a chance. She’s a demon, not a human, she’s Akilang,” she tilted her head and stared at Chephirah.
“Tiger spirit.”
“No one should interfere. Now that the demon is still inside her, it is very easy to kîll her and make that demon perish for once and forever,” Tiger spirit snapped her finger twice.
“She knows nothing about this, she is not at fault. If at all, I’ll take the blame for leaving the mountain that day,” Benroy added.
“Benroy, I care less about how everything happens. I sensed Akilang’s energy as soon as I stepped foot into our territory. It is finished once that demon gets unleashed, y’all know that. You know how hard it was to tame him nine hundred years ago, how could you let it slide just because it is inside one aimless human?”
“We can’t take Tiffany’s life because of Akilang, we can never do that,” Chephirah flared up.
“You will be stabbing her with a ten-thousand-year-old dagger in other to get rid of Akilang, how assured are you that she would survive it? For all I know, the person we used the dagger on three thousand years ago didn’t survive,” Tiger spirit walked around slowly.
“That is that… This is Tiffany,” Chephirah stammered.
“Yeah, superhero Tiffany,” she rolled her eyes and settled on the vacant chair beside Harengon.
“I’ll kîll her when I get the chance to. I wouldn’t get punished anyway,” she shrugged her shoulder.
“Tiger spirit,” Chephirah shook her head.
Tiger spirit only shrugged her shoulder and snuck her tongue out.

“Don’t you think we’re delaying this plan of ours? It has been three years, and you’ll be graduating next year, you know, right?” The guy glared at Xyler whose head was buried on his phone.
“Yeah, you decided we let go of Aiden’s babe and go for Declan’s.”
“Yeah, I did and you have not been saying anything about it!” The guy snapped.
“Then you say something,” Xyler hissed.
“Xyler, we’re lagging. I’ll never forgive you if Luna’s death goes in vain.”
“You should have gone instead of me, don’t rush me, I’ma do my things my way.”
“Xyler, time is not on our side!”
“Time is on our side, Skyler. Time. Is. Fûcking. On. Our. Side!” Xyler retorted, raised his head, and glared at the guy who looked exactly like him.
Their hairstyles, the way they dress, and the piercing they had were the same, on the ear and the lip, they looked the same, just the same, it was as if seeing yourself in the mirror.
“Xyler,” Skyler groaned.
“Xyler!” he grabbed the vase on the table and smashed it against the wall.
The only difference was the nasty temper Skyler had that Xyler didn’t have.
