“Tiffany!” Zoey walked faster to catch up with Tiffany who was working on her phone.
“Yeah?” she stopped walking with a mischievous smile on her face.
“Why did you do that to him?”
“I told you, it’s revenge. Y’all don’t think I already forgot what he did to me, right?” Tiffany impersonated a pose.
“Still… Is this not too much?” Zoey scratched her forehead.
“Have you forgotten what he did to me? To think that I have to purchase another uniform with my money is annoying on my part. Come on, don’t you dare side with him because you have a crush on him,” Tiffany frowned hard.
“Okay, okay, sorry. But, won’t his body be damaged? You said something about the leaches sucking his blood.”
“Well…” Tiffany shrugs her shoulder then pressed her phone with her index finger, then smiled.
“What did you do?” Zoey leaned forward.
“I… Oh, there it is. Check your phone,” Tiffany began to walk away as she heard the notification sound from Zoey’s phone.
“Tiffany?!” Zoey hurried after her.
“You posted it on the school blog?”
“Yeah, it won’t be fun if I didn’t. At least, someone uploaded the one Declan did to me,” Tiffany smiled.
” Gosh, you sure are something else. What’s with this caption? ‘Your king of Dax.’ Tiffany… ” Zoey drawled.
“You won’t blame a girl for avenging,” Tiffany winked at her.
“How did you even come up with this? ” Zoey furrowed her brow.
“So, there’s this small polluted river down my street. I went there so early this morning to hunt for those leaches. Trust me, it was adventurous,” Tiffany smiled.
“So, you came to school very early to pour it inside Declan’s swimming pool? ” Zoey shook her head.
“Bingo!” Tiffany snapped her fingers together.
“Ah… You are a big deal!” Zoey exhaled.
“You can’t blame me. He brought it upon himself,” Tiffany pouted.
“Huh, whatever.”
“Where are we going to now?” Tiffany asked as the turned to the hallway on the third floor.
“It’s time for my group activity. Wanna join?” Zoey asked.
“Nah, count me out. I’ll just look around,” Tiffany waved at her.
“Huh, will you be fine?” Zoey asked, obviously worried.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine, you know that,” Tiffany nodded her head.
“Okay, bye! Gotta go. I’ll give you a call when I’m done. You should look around so you will get to decide the group you wanna join. Take care, baby,” Zoey walked backwardly as she waved her hands at her.
“Sure,” Tiffany smiled as she watched her enter one of the classes down the hall.
As Tiffany followed the stairs downstairs, she could hear the words the student were murmuring about.
Isn’t this unfair?
When Declan did his own, everyone laughed and commended him.
But now that she did her own back, everyone condemned her.
Now, she was the school màd dog.
She was rude and arrogant?
How unfair!
“That is why you should teach them all where they belong to,” the voice that she was already forgetting she had in her spoke up.
Tsk, she was not going to answer that malicious demon today.
“Trust me, you can’t ignore me.”
Wait, she didn’t say that out loud. she was sure she said it in her mind.
“Have you forgotten? We are one. You and I can communicate anyhow. You can talk to me without even opening your mouth. Oh, you didn’t know,” the voice chuckled.
Tiffany bit her lower lips and hurried away from the stairs the began to search for a vacant place to stay. After a while, she found one and rushed inside it, ”what do you want from me?” Tiffany queried within her.
“You. I just wasn’t to take over you completely then show every human their place!” Came the venomous voice of Akilang.
”Hehe, and you think I’ll let you take over my body? Tsk… “Tiffany shook her head, still talking inside of her.
“I don’t need your permission to take over your body. It is just a matter of time, ” Akilang laughed.
“Was it you? Was it you who killed those people in the mountain that day?” Tiffany questioned.
“Have you forgotten? It was you!” Akilang laughed.
“You…!” Tiffany shouted unconsciously and Akilang burst into laughed which infuriated her.
Tiffany closed her eyes tightly and covered her ears with her palm, shaking her head aggressively, trying to get rid of the devilish laughter from Akilang.
All of a sudden, she felt a hand on her shoulder, shot her eyes open, turned around swiftly, and then hurriedly flipped the person over her shoulder.
“Girl!” Aiden groaned in pain as he hit his back on the ground.
“Aiden!” Tiffany widened her eyes and hurriedly knelt beside him.
“Gosh, I’m sorry. I didn’t know it was you,” her brows snapped together.
“Fûck!” Aiden wrung in pain.
“I’m sorry, did you also have to be sneaky?” Tiffany whined.
“Sneaky? Fûck, I wasn’t sneaky. I called your name thrice,” Aiden groaned.
“I’m so sorry. I had some things on my mind and I was kinda scared when I felt your hand on my shoulder,” Tiffany frowned her face.
“This is the second time you will be flipping me over in less than twenty-four hours. Are you planning on kîlling me?” Aiden frowned and tried to sit up.
“I… I’m sorry,” Tiffany bit her lower lips.
“Will you help me stand up or will you just stay there and keep saying you are sorry?” Aiden looked at her.
“I…” she stands up hurriedly.
“Take my hand.”
Aiden chuckled inwardly and pretended to be reluctant in taking her hand. He held her hand slowly and Tiffany pulled him up swiftly like he had no strength in him at all.
As Tiffany pulled Aiden up, the guy tried to curl his hand around her neck but he unconsciously hit her shoulder where the tree drawing was. Tiffany widened her eyes, and then push Aiden away from her as her shoulder began to burn deeply.
“God, am I your adopted child?” Aiden groaned from the floor then glanced at Tiffany who was holding her shoulder tightly.
“Tiffany?” Aiden creased his brow as he struggled to stand up.
It was him who was flipped over.
It was him who was pushed to the ground.
And now, someone is acting like the victim.
Wait, he was sure he didn’t hit her shoulder so why the hell would she hold her shoulder like her life depended on it.
Meanwhile…
Tiffany couldn’t get her hand off her shoulder, it’s not like it was the first time someone will touch it but this time, it hurts so much. Tenfold?
After a while, the pain reduced slowly and she removed her hand from her shoulder then her eyes met with Aiden’s.
Huh, why was he looking worried now?
“Did I startle you?” Tiffany asked and Aiden cleared his throat.
There is a whole lot of thing about Tiffany and he really wanted to know.
“What happened?” Aiden queried.
“Uhm, it’s nothing. Are you okay now?” Tiffany asked.
“Far from it. Because you flipped me over yesterday, I can’t play racket for a week. Now that I’ve been flipped over again, I hope it won’t be extended for a month, ” Aiden sighed.
“I’m sorry. I…”
“It’s fine. Just escort me to the lounge, “Aiden interrupted.
“Why?” Tiffany glared at him.
“Why? Are you asking me that? I can’t possibly go alone. You injured me, remember?” Aiden tilted his head.
“Ah, okay,” Tiffany nodded her head reluctantly and walked towards him.
She lifted his hand and placed it gently across her neck.
“Don’t move your hand at all. If your hand leave my neck and touch my shoulder, I will do more than flip you over, okay? ” Tiffany warned.
“Are you threatening someone you just injured?” Aiden pouted as they both began to walk slowly.
“It is not a threat. It is a warning,” Tiffany answered.
“Yes, ma’am,” Aiden smiled as he glanced at her.
“By the way, why did you do that to Declan?” Aiden asked, ignoring the look from the students.
“He deserved it. Have you forgotten what he did to me? That is my way of getting revenge,” Tiffany answered.
“Oh, I see. I bet his body will be laced with bruises. I left him at the school clinic after one of the leaches was removed and saw the bruise it left on his body. Did you have to do that?” Aiden glanced at her.
”Are you supporting him because he is your friend? He fûcking dump dirty water on me,” Tiffany glanced at him.
“I know, but… ”
“Don’t say anything anymore. It is clear you are only going to keep supporting him,” Tiffany hissed as they descended the stairs slowly.
“Okay,” he laughed.
”Was it you who uploaded it on the school site?” Aiden asked.
“Yes, I figured out that it won’t be fun if I didn’t upload it.”
“Gosh, I like you. I would have done the same if it were me. I hate it when incidents like that pass away without having any record of it,” his lips curved into a smile.
“You are a psycho, aren’t you?” Tiffany chuckled with a furrowed brow.
“Well…” Aiden shrug his shoulder then smiled gently as he looked at her face.
“We’re here,” Tiffany breathed out and Aiden hurriedly looked away.
God, why did they have to arrive at the lounge?
Tiffany leaned forward to open the door then entered the room slowly Aiden.
The last time she came here, she couldn’t admire the room because of how angry she was then.
The room looked so boyish and cozy, they were football, PS game, system, television, and every other stuff that could make up a boy’s room.
Tiffany snapped out of her thoughts, walked slowly to the couch ahead of her, and then prepared to let go of Aiden when they reach where the couch was.
As she tried to make Aiden sit on the couch, Aiden pulled her closer and they both fell on the couch. She shifted uncomfortably as she stared at Aiden’s face from up close.
She tried to stand up from his body, but the guy wouldn’t let her go and she hissed loudly.
“Do you want to dîe?” Tiffany whispered, her breath fanning his face.
“Have you joined any group?” Aiden whispered back, not tearing his eyes off her face.
“No.”
“Join the dance group. You’ll look really good, trust me,” Aiden smiled.
“No, I’ll play racket,” Tiffany smirked.
“Then, I’ll coach you,” Aiden winked at her.
“Pervert!” Tiffany got away from his grip forcefully.
“How? Will coaching you make me a pervert?” Aiden sat up.
“Uhm!” Tiffany cleared her throat as she felt her cheek flush.
“Trust me, I’ll be a better coach,” he plastered a smile across his face.
“Damn you! I won’t play racket for anything in the world!” Tiffany yelled then rushed out of the lounge.
“What is wrong with her?” Aiden creased his brow as he stood from the couch then walked freely to the refrigerator.
However as he remembered how he’d made her walk him to the lounge when he clearly could walk, he burst into laughter at his childish trick.
“She’s cute,” Aiden smiled as he rested his head against the refrigerator.
“So cute,” he giggled, pressed his lips together, his head still rested against the refrigerator.
Xyler entered the lounge to grab Declan’s cloth but stopped on his track as he watched Aiden who was smiling and giggling like a high school girl whose crush just proposed to her.
“Did he eat something bad?” Xyler creased his brow.
“Wait…” he suddenly widened his eyes as he remember seeing Tiffany walk out of the lounge.
“Did something happen between them?”
He couldn’t help but wonder.
