Chapter 153

Book:His Secret Quintuplets Published:2024-6-2

“Darling, let go of my mother first, I can’t walk…” I exerted a lot of effort inside, but the kids wouldn’t release go of me no matter what I did.
Will I be able to escape?
Then I discovered that Duke’s disposition was off, and I saw that his face was puffy.
“Duke, what exactly is the problem?”
I asked.
“I am aware, mom. Today, Duke was able to get one over on Papa! My dad is irate to the point where he is hostile to Duke.” Dora said hastily.
“…” I looked at Sean Matthews in surprise and looked at him. I looked for milk stains, but I couldn’t find any. It would have been better if I had changed my clothing.
Look at Duke. Didn’t you be beaten?
Duke responded, “That has absolutely nothing to do with me! That is my own dad who treats me in a nasty manner!”
Sean Matthews gave it a quick look. “Are you sure you don’t have a reason?”
“I have nothing to do with it! The milk is to blame for this!” Duke is upset.
“Who was it that drank all the milk?”
“I… I drink.”
The lips of Duke was pursed.
“What do you think caused it to happen to dad?”
That piques my interest.
“Just… Oh, my goodness, it’s Dad…”
What’s going on is clear to me at this point “It’s due to Duke’s lack of caution. It doesn’t matter. So make sure you pay attention the next time, Duke, OK?”
“Oh, I I’ll be cautious next time.”
Duke was embarrassed and said it in an odd manner.
“That’s to your benefit.”
I put my hand on the top of his small head.
The attention of Sean Matthews was drawn to me, and he watched how I interacted with my five children as if I had some kind of extraordinary power.
Staring at her, frowning fiercely
“They…” As I glanced up at Sean Matthews, I was greeted by a pair of eyes that were instantly recognizable. These resembled bottomless voids and were impossible to understand. What I wanted to say was stuck in my throat and I turned around before I made a sound. “Did they take any food?”
After taking a quick glance behind him, Sean Matthews stood up. “No.”
I was curious, so I inquired, “What do you eat?”
Very immediately after I had asked, there was a knock at the door.
As I went to enter the door, I was taken aback by the painting that was hanging outside.
Waiters in in overalls poured in and began carrying plates into the living room, where they proceeded to set them down on the dining table there.
If Susan didn’t have such a large table, I would have been unable to put all 10 of these plates in the table in my old home.
As the food were set, the waiter made a little bow and said in a polite tone, “please take your time!”
After that, she walked away and locked the door behind her.
I was taken aback by that.
I can tell from the dishes that I can’t afford.
“Wow! It’s time to start the evening meal!” The children erupted in applause.
Seven individuals are seated to dine at the table.
The area is unquestionably much less than what is available at Gold Coast. It seems like there are too many people here.
But, it has no impact whatsoever on how one feels when they are eating.
The children devoured their food with glee.
When the kids are too little to walk, I give them a high chair and let them eat by themselves. It is impossible for me to simultaneously feed five people. I can only hope that they pick things up quickly.
Therefore there is no need for me to stress about finding something to eat.
I watched them consume their food. That was such a nice thing.
“This is a meal that my mother used to purchase for all of us!”
Dora moved her attention to the meat.
“Delicious!”
Doris said.
“Yes!”
Dylan nodded firmly.
After concealing his chubby face in the bowl, Duke proceeded to consume the rice.
Debbie sent a kind glance in my direction.
I’m a little bit ashamed of myself. I didn’t buy it. At that moment, Sean Matthews and I were having supper together. I put it in a bag and carried it with me. To be quite clear, Sean Matthews made the purchase as well.
I was aware of Sean Matthews’s attention, but I made an effort to avoid it.
“You can sleep here tonight.”
Sean Matthews said.
I looked at Sean Matthews in surprise. Just what was he getting at? Allow the children to sleep here with me?
As the small face of Duke emerged from the bowl, he had a grain of rice on his chin. “Can I sleep with my mother?”
“And Dad!” Dora said.
Doris, “sleep together!”
Debbie, “sleep…”
Dylan’s eyes shone with excitement as he glanced at me, clearly looking forward to it.
As they stared at me, I saw that I was perspiring. Why did they have to ask me this question?
And sleeping together or doing anything else seems quite uncomfortable.
“There are too many people to sleep on this bed; it’s too tiny.”
I grinned for a number of reasons.
The children’s faces showed their displeasure.
Let’s make it a bit more packed, shall we? Sean Matthews said.
“…” I pressed my lips together. Why do you have to make do with it?
Is it okay if I refuse?
I don’t know what to say after seeing the smiles on the faces of the children.
The waiter went outside and took the remaining food from the table with him before cleaning up the area.
I was too sluggish to move, so I just sat down on the foam board that was piled high with food and drink.
It was the sight of the children gleefully playing barefoot on the foam board and running about in front of them that left me with a sense of fulfillment.
What’s with Sean Matthews’ sudden outburst of chattiness?
What exactly is he contemplating?
As I turned back, I noticed Sean Matthews on the balcony answering the phone. He was talking to someone.
Very immediately after that, he hung up the phone and turned around.
