“If you don’t pinch, I’ll ask Sean Matthews if he knows something like a kiss mark.”
Aaron Matthews gave me an uneasy glance in my direction.
I formed a frown. “What do you ask him to do? I’ll pinch it.”
I assumed Aaron Matthews was just saying it in a casual manner, but I didn’t believe he was really sitting there waiting for me to pinch it. I was wrong about both of those things.
I extended out my hand, twisted a little portion around my neck, bore the agony and formed a kiss mark on my neck.
“Satisfied?”
“Yes.”
Aaron Matthews rose to his feet and walked away with a frown on his face.
“Psycho!”
I promptly pulled out the cell phone in my purse and stared at my neck with my camera.
I looked down at my neck and saw two red marks.
I’d rather just pass out and be forgotten about than have Aaron Matthews pick me up off the floor. Who exactly does he believe he is?
Then, to my horror, I checked the time on my cell phone and saw that it was two o’clock in the afternoon. I don’t know how long I’ve been out!
I was about to call, but I saw there was already a call coming in at one o’clock. There was a call from Mary Morris.
That should have been the point in time when I was out cold. Who was the one to respond? There would have been no one else around at that time other than Aaron Matthews.
When I phoned again, no one picked up the phone.

I responded “at the entrance to the Aven hospital.”

Fear gripped me as I braced myself at the entrance of the hospital.
After another half an hour, a black Bently pulled up in front of me and stopped.
When I am among fancy automobiles, I get a terrible feeling of dread and anxiety. I can never shake the feeling that it’s Sean Matthews.
The door was opened with utmost courtesy by the bodyguard. I saw the lengthy legs when we were in the vehicle. The whole of the vehicle was fraught with peril. As soon as the door was opened, the threat immediately increased, and I immediately felt cold.
