Mrs. Shang thought that Ji Yan would be ashamed and would rush out of the door after she finished speaking.
However, Ji Yan’s expression was still calm. She stood up straight like a strong woman and said softly, “Although she is the recognized daughter-in-law of Shang family, but I, Ji Yan, am Shang Jinshen’s official wife. I am Shang Jinshen’s legal wife.”
After she said that, she no longer cared about Mrs. Shang’s reaction and proudly turned to go upstairs.

The more she said, the sadder she became and she also tried to find faults to blame him, “But Jinshen, why didn’t you wait for me? I have finally come back and I wanted to be your bride. This has been my dream since I was a child.”
What a touching love story! Ji Yan, who was listening behind the guest room door, was slightly moved. She wondered if Shang Jinshen would change his mind?
