Nicole wasn’t surprised anymore, no, she wasn’t Natalie had done enough in the space of one week that nothing she did or will do in the future will shock her anymore, she sure became the devil.
“If that’s what you think will happen, then think again because Rafael won’t leave me, you are just going to get used to the fact that he choose me and will never leave me,”
“You think? Do you even know the reason the mofo wanted to marry me was because of the inheritance grandma gave us? I am guessing you don’t, neither do your parents,”
Natalie spat out.
“What? My parents? They are your parents too,”
“No, they are not, they seize to be my parents when they picked you over me when they decided to let you have what’s mine and even sided with you,”
Natalie yelled.
“So what now? Do you realize people are starting to get tired of your stories and you decide to spice things up by lying and also giving out my private information? Why? Do you expect your minions to come after me?”
“I don’t do, minions, I don’t need to, there is enough for everyone to see and know who is at fault,”
“That’s because you twisted the story to fit your narrative, you did all these, you didn’t talk about when you asked me to marry Rafael instead, didn’t talk about the weeks you neglected and ignored my pleads for you to come back, you didn’t talk about how you ghosted me for weeks, months, no you told a half baked true, twisted everything that happened and made me the villain,”
“That’s because it’s what you are, you are the devil here, you all you had to do was step down when I came, all you had to do was handle over everything back to me and no one would have noticed, Rafael won’t have known because I trained those months away to be exactly like you, spent time learning art like you did because Rafael like you better when we were together, he kept on talking about how I acted when we met at an art store, how I acted at what’s her name? Maggi? I have forgotten it, but yes he didn’t stop talking about how he liked that version better, I couldn’t tell him I wasn’t the one so I wanted to learn, all I wanted was to go and be like you and come back but you already settled with what’s mine and you expect me to just swallow it and move on while you are happy? No way,”
The revelation of the reason why Natalie had left in the first place was more shocking than she thought, so that was it? That was why she let? Because Rafael liked her better?
“So what? Now you come back and tell lies for revenge’s sake? Huh?
“I didn’t lie you bitch, it’s the truth, you are a thief and it is showing, besides I wasn’t the one that started the plagiarism rumor but the artist whose work you stole, saw it on your social media, the one you had anonymously with millions of followers, all I did was give them a name and a face, I couldn’t stand you stealing from someone else like you did to me,”
Her sister said, no she wasn’t her sister, Natalie was a witch who replaced her sister and was out to ruin her, how could she say she stole someone else’s work? She has never even thought of that, she always values originality, and besides, she wasn’t doing it for money so why will she take someone else’s glory?
“The fuck Natalie, I know you did something, me? Copy someone else? I don’t need to do that, I value originality,”
“Ha-ha-ha-ha,”
Natalie fake laughed, pointing at her.
“You? Original? Excuse me? You are actually a copy of me, your whole existence is a photocopy, you didn’t just copy me, you took my identity, married the man that was mine, and even now you steal people’s work, their hard work, God, the kind of life you came, how can you live knowing your whole life you do nothing but steal from people?”
That was it, she couldn’t take it anymore, she gathered all her strength and slapped her sister, who retaliated immediately and it resulted in them fighting they fought their way out of her sister’s room thought the hallway, she was going out of breath and telling Natalie to stop but Natalie didn’t listen to her, she kept pulling her hair and hitting her.
“Let me go, Natalie,”
She manage to let out, they were approaching the stairs and she didn’t want to lose her balance, she tried to push her sister off but it wasn’t working.
“Natalie, let go of me,”
She said again, this time more like a plead but her sister wasn’t even listening.
“You were asking for it, now you wanna stop? No,”
Natalie barked out as she released her, slapped her face, she tried to steady herself but it didn’t work, she missed a step and stumbled down the staircase, she could hear her sister scream as she fell on her stomach at the foot of the bed.
“Oh God, my baby,”
She cried as she tried to get up but she couldn’t, the pain all over her body didn’t let her, she tried even harder but darkness was taking over her, her world closing in, she heard the distant noise of her sister’s voice as she called for help, heard when people came in, could her they talk even though she didn’t know what they said, she was aware when someone stood beside her begging her not to fall asleep but it didn’t work, it was as if whoever was talking lead her into sleep, the pain she was feeling numbing, all she could think about as the world faded into empty darkness was that it was her fault this happened to her, she should have listened to him and not show up here.
