Nicole asked, sure Natalie was okay with her kissing Rafael but what about they are together and he decides that he wants Natalie? Will she have to sleep with her sister’s fiance too and will Natalie be okay with that too?
“I promise, it won’t get to that Nicole,”
Natalie responded and Nicole shook her head in disbelief, her sister was just so manipulative that she would say whatever to get what she wants not minding the consequences, heck she doesn’t even think of the consequences at all, she just wants what she wants.
“You’re impossible Natalie,”
“Please Nicole, I won’t be pleading if this is not important Margaret have something that Rafael is bent on getting it through her,”
Natalie revealed.
“What is that? I thought he got her property, is there more?”
Nicole asked in confusion.
“Yes, there is, the huge land next to the one he got belongs to someone very close to Margaret who she can talk to and would listen to her, that’s why you have to help me, as Rafael is trying to get on her good side so that she can talk to him on his behalf,”
“Why? He can just buy it as he did with Margaret’s?”
Nicole asked, wondering why they have to be on Margaret’s good book when he can just walk up to the man and offer him the money.
“No, Mr. Jones is more strict than Margaret he won’t sell easily he doesn’t even need the money, I think Rafael said something about him selling to someone he liked and Rafael wants to be that person, he said he needs the land to make his dream of owning one of the biggest luxury hotels come true,”
Natalie revealed, all Nicole could think about was, she knew that the man was greedy, she just hoped he wouldn’t touch Vhrisma, but the chances of that happening would be slim as she doesn’t expect him to keep to his words, an art shop? In the same place as a huge luxury hotel? She was sure he wasn’t going to let that happen.
“I see, so what am I going to do at Margaret’s? Is Rafael going to be there?
“No, he’s not, he is out of town which is why I want you to help me, Margaret knows you, she doesn’t know me, she will be able to tell the difference, she is a big-time art lover like you, well according to Rafael, I don’t know her, you guys already talked before and you know I don’t know shit about art, so if you will help me with this is why I want you to go for me, I promise after this, I won’t ask you again,”
Natalie pleaded. Nicole let out a sigh, Rafael wasn’t going to be there and she was going to talk about art, and also she wanted Natalie and her to be cool again.
“Fine, I will do it but let this be the last time,”
“I promise, thank you so much,”
Natalie said, hugging her.
“You are welcome, so do I have to leave now?”
“No, it’s by tomorrow morning, Rafael’s driver will come to pick you up,”
“Okay, cool, where have you been for the past three days though? When I didn’t see you here I assumed you were with your fiance, looks like that’s not the case since you said he is out of town,”
“Yeah, I lodged in a hotel but I am back home now, and let’s forget about what happened at the vacation home,”
“I am sorry I accused you Nat, I was just, I don’t have an excuse,”
“It’s fine Nicole, it’s all mom and dad’s fault, by the way where are they?”
“I don’t know, they came back yesterday,”
“God, I wish we had better parents, we deserve better than how they treat us,”
“Yeah, but unfortunately we aren’t that lucky but at least we still have them around, some people don’t,”
“True, thanks again Nicole,”
“It’s nothing, can I go now? I was working before you came in,”
“Yes sure, thanks again,”
She said and Nicole left her room and went back to her studio, her tomorrow would be busy so she spent the rest of the day working on the gift she promised Margaret and Natalie’s wedding present, she liked her progress and how well her work had turned out to be, she took a few pictures, before locking her studio and calling it a day.
The next morning, Rafael’s driver was there early to pick her up and like Natalie had said Rafael wasn’t in attendance, it was just her and Margaret who was fun to chat with, by the way, Nicole gave her the little work she had promised her the last time and the old lady had happily collected it from her thanking her for keeping to her words, she spent the whole of her morning talking about art and her dreams of being a professional artist with Margaret who listened with interest, Nicole decided that she liked Margaret and hoped she could continue being friends with her.
By the time she left Margaret’s house, it was past two pm, she wasn’t complaining though as it had been an interesting time. when she got back home, Natalie wasn’t at home, she went straight to her studio to continue the work she was on, after texting Natalie who responded that she went to see the stylist who would style her wedding hair, she spent the rest part of the day in her studio, meeting with Margaret and having her gosh over her work that she thought wasn’t perfect gave her a lot of motivation and by midnight when she finishes the first work, the let out a satisfied screaming, knowing no one will hear her because of the soundproof system in the room, which of one of her major reason for choosing to use here as her temporary studio, she will miss it once she moved out but she planned on having a better one, she finally left her studio by ten pm, went to eat and late dinner and retired to bed satisfied…
