Chapter 828: He wants her! He must have her!

Book:My Dear Mr. Nice Published:2024-6-2

Seven months later.
Anlandana Building, Teladia, Aguayo Group.
Carlos looked at the calendar on the table and a few words crowded into his mind.
It’s almost too late.
What’s too late?
Unbeknownst to him, he had spent some incredibly anxious days lately, watching the hours tick by, often so nervous he couldn’t breathe, waking up in the middle of the night and unable to go back to sleep, and had even gone to the hospital for tests.
No problem at all.
Why is he so nervous?
Any void that wasn’t resolved by work usually was, but lately work wasn’t bringing him the slightest bit of attention, and the thought of eight months passing made his heart beat faster, with unfamiliar anticipation and unease reminding him that it was time to do something about it.
Diego made his way over with a Burmese smile on his face.
-Mr. Aguayo, I want to ask for a wedding permit and take Paula on a trip to get married.
Carlos raises an eyebrow and nods.
-Will three months be enough?
Diego smiled and said enough, then asked, unsure.
-The time I was away…
Carlos doesn’t care much.
-It’s okay, you don’t have to worry, go and travel without fear.
The company has flourished at an outrageous rate in just six months, leaving the second largest family of the Davalos family with a void of tens of billions in assets, which is definitely related to workaholic Carlos, and, to Natalia’s credit….
Diego thought:
-Yes, it is good to have a few more assistants who can be close to Mr. Carlos, since he is not in the office and the outside helpers are not used to it at first, but they will get used to it later.
Diego said something about the job transfer and left.
On a trip?
Carlos’ eyes went to the map of the world hanging on the wall, he picked up the dart on the table, stood up, raised his hand and threw it with a handsome gesture.
He’s going on a trip, too.
Throw it anywhere you want!
With a swoosh, the dart lodged in the map.
Carlos frowned, that place, it seemed so remote….
Walk.
A 2 meter map of the world, that country was the size of a fingernail top on the map, so small as to be insignificant, and Carlos pulled the dart before he saw the words on it.
Salamonsa.
Looking again at the writing left on the mouth of that needle.
Echave City.
The phone on the table rings and Carlos reaches back, picks it up, it’s Ernesto, and picks it up.
-Carlos, get together for dinner tonight, Tomas is coming too, I’ve called him, the usual rules, we all bring our wives, you can’t.
Wife?
The corners of Carlos’ lips curved without heat.
-Good.
The dinner venue was a new restaurant in Teladia, chosen by the women for its romantic atmosphere, quiet setting and delicious food.
Everyone was there when Carlos approached.
Antonio holds his three-month-old son in his arms with a satisfied smile.
Ernesto looked upset.
-Tsk, tsk, tsk, Antonio, that’s all you got, you said you were only bringing your wife, what do you mean you’re taking your son out? You’ve got a lot of people, this meal is on you!
Antonio gave Katarina a loving look full of promise.
Katarina smiled, the baby had a strange taste and only drank breast milk, no formula, and it was the only way to take him out for so long.
Alba and Bianca stood together, bellies as big as balls, looking at what maternity clothes were on their phones and muttering about the last month of clothes to buy.
Carlos’ eyes roamed their stomachs and he sat down in the empty seat.
Olivia looked at Alba and Bianca cheerfully and said.
-You can’t wear what you can’t wear for me, I’ll save myself from buying it!
Leonardo sniffed and reached out to clasp her hand in his arms, pressing her three-month belly.
-Buy, my wife is very petite, they’re fat as pigs, you can’t wear them, buy new ones!
Alba and Bianca were instantly disgusted and looked at them with eyes full of indignation, but Ernesto and Tomas moved even faster.
-Leonardito, how are you talking?
-One on one at the door right now, believe it or not?
A slight smile lifted the corners of Carlos’ lips.
It’s great that the brothers are having fun.

A week later, Carlos showed up at the Ciudad Echave airport in Salamonsa, pushing a small gray suitcase in his hand.
Oddly enough, he actually had a Salamonsa visa, which had not expired, and he bounced through five flights to get in without any problems.
Aside from work, it was the first time I had traveled alone. In the past, any itinerary had been arranged by Diego, and as soon as he stepped off the plane, he felt momentarily unsure of what to do with himself.
He contemplated this strange and familiar country with a few moments of curiosity.
Strange, because it was his first visit, familiar, because it was no different from Anlandana….
It is incredible that there are two countries in the world that are so close to each other, with no communication barriers, with the same color of pupils, hair…
I took out my phone and decided to book a hotel first.
I can’t believe there’s no signal….
The next second, the phone disappeared from his hands and a guy in a duck cap grabbed it and ran as fast as he could.
Carlos didn’t care about the suitcase and immediately went for it.
The young thief knew how to move and within a dozen minutes he had lost sight of Carlos.
Breathing shakily, he stopped in the pedestrian street, looking around, and then, with eyes fixed violently….
Her heart, which was already racing, jumped even faster, and her eyes looked at that image, not wanting to look away again…
Not far away, on a bench, a woman sitting on a chair, her back leaning against the backrest, her long hair extremely long down to her shoulders, her delicate skin white as porcelain, like jade in the sunlight, her face brimming with a slight smile, her pretty eyes carrying a river of stars as mobile as a river of stars, was talking to a 4-5 year old girl in front of her….
Carlos’ heartbeat and breathing could not calm down and he took several deep breaths before walking towards her.
He knew the sensation of this heartbeat was called a heartbeat.
He just wanted to act on instinct.
What should he call her?
Beauty?
Missy?
Or is it Missy?
Eyebrows furrowed, feeling a nasty shiver!
And then I hate that my barren brain couldn’t even come up with an appropriate name for her at the critical moment….
The girl looked at her pretty sister’s bulging belly and asked curiously.
-Why do you want to have a baby, sister?
The woman paused, thinking carefully about what to answer….
Carlos had appeared and she froze at the sound of his voice, the baby?
Her eyes rested on her stomach….
My heart aches…
Already married?
No, you can divorce if you’re married, maybe if you’re a widower?
For the first time, Carlos took credit for his creation.
The girl’s mother greeted her and told her it was time to go.
The girl reluctantly left.
The woman also felt it was time to go, when suddenly she felt a burning gaze looking at her from her side, and unconsciously looked back….
As their eyes collided, Carlos felt himself suffocating and made up his mind: he wanted her!
Definitely!
Walking towards her, he bent down and put his hand on the backrest behind her, spreading his cool, lovely breath over her delicate face.
-Girl…
