Micaela introduced her to Javier:
-This is my best friend, Alba.
Javier took a look at her.
Very elegantly dressed and beautiful looking. Unlike Micaela’s silent beauty.
Javier gave her a polite smile.
Alba sensed that this man didn’t seem to be as gentle as he appeared.
But after sitting down Alba didn’t feel that way at all.

However, Alba could be sure that he was definitely not just a normal classmate of Micaela.
-She was curious when I ran into you at the hospital the day before yesterday. You look a lot like a friend of mine…” Alba said to Javier. -Alba said to Javier.
Javier smiled and answered Alba’s question:
-It’s Marcos, right? He’s my cousin.

Micaela saw the waiter arrive with the bill and hurriedly got up to pay when Javier took the bill from her hand.

Carlos seemed to imagine Micaela’s surprised expression and said in a soft voice.

It had only been twenty hours, but it felt like a long time ago, and now that she had finally made contact she was too excited to talk….
