Ever since the day Tom declared his intention of getting the whole group, Amber began to make moves on her own end too. She would not wait and let Tom be ousted of the group just like that after all his hard work throughout the years.
She was well known in the secretaries’ groups she was so everyone was already ready to render help whenever she needed one. She thought about using them to her advantage and they willing vowed to help.
Her mother was finally discharged from the hospital and she brought her home to stay with her. Tom was understanding enough to give her a few days holiday in order to keep her company and help her adapt to living on her own now since there is no caregiver like in the hospital.
Even though she was at home, she made sure to do all her office works on time and send them in through mails so her absence was not felt in the slightest. Her mother who had not seen her work closely was proud of her as she silently gazed at her daughter from behind while she was working away.
Throughout her stay at home, she got all the information she wanted from the other secretaries that were working directly for the shareholders of the group so she was able to figure out that Joseph was making moves to become the chairman underneath with the help of his father.
“I was doubting if he would go with the original plan, I gave him a chance to choose talent and hard work over birthright so I worked my ass off but it seems I just worked for nothing. He’s still sticking to his original plan” Tom fumed but Amber told him not to react, they will just stab them at the back from their own end too.

Emily finally finished her exams for the first semester of her graduating class and decided to take a stroll in the nearby park when she bumped into Eddy. She purposely ignored him and pretended as if she didn’t see him but he still went ahead to block her with his car.
She was annoyed and irritated with his behavior but just took a calming breath before walking past the car but he still came down to drag her back.
With a loud voice birthed from anger, she shouted at him. “What exactly is your problem? Why are you in my face for goodness’ sake? I don’t want to see you near me so make sure you get out of my sight” but he only chuckled.
“Don’t worry, I don’t have the intention of staying in your sight but I want to remind you of something, I have moved on and I can also see that you have moved on but there is something I have with me, I don’t know if you can still play bold when you see that” he remarked with a corny smile.
She was getting tired of even talking to him not to talk of understanding his nonsense so she just told him to fck off from her face, then turned to take her leave but at the sound of a message beep on her phone, she stopped.
Her phone fell to the ground from the shock she went through as she opened the message. It was her sex tape, she was naked in the video and she could remember that it was clearly with Eddy. The worst part was that his face was not being shown on the camera, she was the only one being shown in the video with every part of her body visible.
With a teary face, she turned to face Eddy who already has an evil grin on his face, her mouth parted to talk but she couldn’t even make a sound. An evil laugh came from him as he watched her get broken each passing seconds. She was in anguish and has no choice but to surrender to his mercy.
She finally found her voice and went on ranting her disappointment to him, never in her life has she ever thought she would be in this predicament. She had trusted him a lot and also did many things with him, they were wild. The worst thing was that she doesn’t know the amount of spare copies he has or how many people he has shown the video.
Within seconds, she was on her knee with tears streaming down her face. She started to beg him because she knew it would be a big disaster if anyone sees it or he decides to share it around. Her graduation is at the corner so she cannot afford to have anything disrupt it or cause any stir that will make the school send her home since they are known for strict discipline.
“I don’t know what you are planning to do with this but I beg you, I am willing to do anything you want so please delete this” she pleaded but he only laughed at her, mockingly.
She was not ashamed to kneel in front of him, she was willing to bear that shame and embarrassment as long as it stops her from being disgraced throughout the entire nation. He was enjoying the show in front of him and loved how she was begging him after shouting at him few minutes ago.
He crouched to her position and gently wiped the tears on her cheeks before unleashing another round of tears. They were making him happy and seeing her vulnerable felt so good to him, he was tired of her pride and constant pushing away.
“You just have to listen to what I say and all will be well. If you do exactly what I want then you will be safe and don’t make the mistake of reporting me because this will go all over the internet in a flash” he threatened and she nodded in agreement, continuously as she cried endlessly.
He left her on her knees there and zoomed off. Immediately he was out of sight, she began to weep hard, there was nothing she could even think of doing at that point because she was only a powerless college girl who has no support from anywhere.
For days, she kept crying about what Eddy might do with the video. Her roommate was tired of her constant tears and more frustrated that she is not talking about whatever was wrong with her, she was only weeping profusely anytime she asked.
Jessica left her to herself and decided to wait for her to reveal whatever was making her cry after making all the guesses she could but Emily kept shaking her head that they were not the problem.

Amber resumed back at the office and shared all the information with Tom so they could prepare for any attack. They had just finished their lengthy meeting and was deliberating on what to eat when the message dropped on Amber’s phone that Charles wedding was the next weekend.
“Mr. Charles wedding will be taking place at the Next Grand Hotel. It will hold next weekend so I will include it in your schedule and clear any meeting for that day” she informed him.
He was about to cancel his attendance but changed his mind, instead he told her to get ready because they will be attending together to her amazement.
“We will be attending together? Why? There is no reason for me to attend the wedding with you, sir” she protested immediately
He might have forgotten but she didn’t, he had humiliated her in front of everyone after assaulting her sexually so she would not give him the grace of attending his wedding because she might want to break his head into two. She doesn’t understand why Tom was insisting they should go when he clearly knows the situation between them and no matter what, she will not be attending.
“I am sorry sir but I don’t think I will be attending with you. In fact, I cannot and I am very sure you know the reason” she stated firmly and turned to leave without waiting for him to say whatever he had in mind.
That caused a serious fight between the two of them as she refused blatantly and he also would not budge from his ground of taking her along. They didn’t talk as lovers for days but they were actively working as a boss and employee.
The both of them were filled with pride of not wanting to lose to each other and their grudges only worsened as the day went by. The day of the wedding was drawing nearer and they had still not made up even though they missed each other crazily.
Finally, the morning of the wedding came in and he sent a car with his driver to pick her up as her boss leaving her to choose whether to obey him or not as an employee.
