“Honey, come sit here with me.” Nick reached over and patted the bed next to him. I think it’s time we had a little chat.
She looked at me awkwardly as she hemmed and hawed.
Nicola continued more sternly, “all of us.”
Although she moved slowly across the room, she eventually sat down on the bed next to him. At the time, I wished I could have joined them, wrapping an arm around her and keeping her close.
However, I was unable to physically interact with her. Not until I knew she’d be happy to see me. It would absolutely break my heart if she shied away from me now. If I try to force the situation, I could end up doing more harm than good. This required her willingness. Even if she is in our custody, I would never intentionally put her in danger or make her feel bad.
Unlike myself, Nicola wasn’t hesitant to speak up. He extended his hand and grasped hers. She hardened her body, but she didn’t withdraw.
She had faith in him even after all this time. She still had feelings for him.
My chest hurt, but I paid it no mind.
While reprimanding her, Nicola’s voice remained soft.
” Our adversaries would have had an easier time capturing you if you had left the estate. Nothing of the kind will be allowed to occur under our watchful eye. ”
She moaned, in anguish, “I can’t remain here.” A return to formal education is what I’ve been craving. I…” Her tone lacked polish. I’d rather not be in this room with you.
Her strained tone betrayed the truth, but I didn’t confront her about it. I thought I’d defer to Nicola’s expertise and allow her steer this delicate situation. As far back as I can remember, he was always the more polished of us. I just couldn’t resist being honest and stating what I meant. If I spoke out, I’d tell her how dangerous the world is when she’s alone without us. What she needed wasn’t to hear that.
Nicola whispered soothingly, “You can’t go back, Sweetheart.” It’s really risky, therefore we can’t do it.”
Her eyes were wide as she looked pleadingly at him. ” I’m sorry, but I have to leave you. You reckon… You have no regard for me. I really ought to have gone to class today, but I consented to miss it. Everyone has lost all respect for me. Honestly, all I am is a slut. ”
I finally lost it and snarled, “I never want to hear you speak that term again.”
I caught her sight for an instant before she averted it.
“Matthew is correct,” Nicola said emphatically. “Don’t use that phrase. You’re not a skank at all. To put it simply, I admire you. Even Mathew recognizes your worth to him. Emily, please know how much we value you to us. To be with you is what we want. You and I.”
She frowned thoughtfully. However, that is incorrect. ” I have a commitment to you, Nicola; I must be with you. ”
The inside of my cheek was bit so hard that blood, a coppery color, dripped over my tongue.
He reassured that she wanted to be with Matthew, too. It’s fine. This is how we would want things to go. That’s the way it ought to work. Dear Sweetheart, we were meant to be together. You and I.”
She said, “I don’t understand,” as her cheeks flushed with emotion other than embarrassment.
Matthew and I have a healthy appreciation for sharable goods. This is how we’ve always been.
I could pinpoint exactly how we’d gotten into this rut. My relationship with Nicola was always quite close. Since he was a frail child, I’d assumed the job of guardian and was held accountable for his well-being. He was more than a brother to me, yet I loved him like a younger sibling.
By the time Nicola was ready to give up the virginity torch, I was five years older and had already had my fill of flings. He told me he was scared all the time. He had come to me looking for advice. That’s why I’d made it available. .
The sexiest moment of my life was when I instructed him on how to touch the lady to get her on. Extreme forms of sharing had begun among us not long after we had first met. Even if Nicola had acquired a penchant for more risqué playthings over time, I was still the one who called the shots.
Nicola was still my, even if we didn’t sex. Mine to lead and protect you. I had stood by him no matter what, and his disappearance had been devastating. I was afraid he was dead throughout the period he spent in hiding in Lasvagas.
That, along with Emily’s distancing herself from me, still hurts a bit. Because of their history together, she felt Nicola had the right to claim her as his. Her insistence on having a monogamous relationship with him proved her dedication to him, not me. She was very faithful, and for that I respected her. I really wanted to have her unwavering devotion to me. It’s for Nicola and I.
It was up to us to get through to her and explain what we needed. Just what we needed
Just though you kissed Matthew doesn’t mean anything to me,” Nicola assured her. ” I’m glad you’re keen in spending time with him, too. Is he unimportant to you? ”
“I…” She fought back the admission by biting her lip. She maintained that it was dishonorable and hurtful to Nicola.
