He walked out of his office and drove his car to the most luxurious strip club; he went into a VIP room and started boozing. After some time, a few sexy girls walked in almost wearing nothing.
They danced, and Lucas was fine till they didn’t touch him, but the moment a stripper tried to give him lap dance he pushed her growled, “Get out, now”
Expressions on his face were so horrifying that all the girls ran out of the room in no time.
Lucas felt so angry at this moment, because the stripper who tried to give him a lap dance, he was imagining Carol in her, and he might have spent tonight with her but the moment she sat on his lap seductively, it jerked him that his Carol would never do such filthy things.
She is so pure, so innocent; she is not of this world. She is a fairy from heaven.
He was angry at himself, that he imagined Carol as such a woman.
He walked out of the club frustrated; he cursed Carol, “What are you doing to me Carol, why my mind is not working properly, why I can’t think anything apart from you”
He wanted to hang out with some women so that he can relax at least sexually, but only Carol’s soft lips can satisfy his thrust now, he doesn’t want anyone else only Carol can satisfy him.
He came back to his office and again drank a few more drinks so that he could sleep.
There were many nights when Lucas slept in his car opposite Carol’s house; he felt he had a more peaceful sleep in his car because he is close to Carol.
He was not able to sleep in either his office nor his home, and he didn’t want to go to the house where Catherine was staying, he was tolerating her only because of the baby.
Few days passed, Carol was sitting in her bedroom lost in thoughts, so many days passed but she was unable to forget the kiss with Lucas in his car.
It was her first kiss; whenever she remembers that kiss she feels a magical current flow in her body which she had never felt earlier in her life.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, she said, “come in” and a handsome man entered her room when Carol saw him she jumped in happiness and hugged him.
She was very happy to see this person, he was also hugging her tightly after sometimes they broke the hug and Carol said in excitement, “Sam, I missed you so much”
Sam smiled ear to ear, “I too missed you, my cry baby”
Carol said, “I am no more a cry baby, stop calling me that”
Sam said in a teasing tone, “Oh that means my cry baby has grown up?”
Carol said in a warning tone, “Sam, I am not hitting you only because you are my childhood friend”
Sam drew his hands above his head in surrender mode and said, “Sorry, Sorry, cry ba…. oh sorry Carol Mittal”
Carol smiled and asked, “So this time you came back forever or you will go back again?”
Sam sat on the sofa comfortably and said, “No I left my job there and now I am back to settle down here”
Carol sat excitedly next to him on the sofa and asked, “So you got a job here?”
Sam nodded and said, “No, I have planned to start a business of my own”
Carol smiled and said, “Wow, that’s a great idea”
Sam asked seriously, “Carol, why are you not going out, why are you letting one incident stop you and your life?”
Carol looked down in her lap, she didn’t know what to reply.
Sam continued, “You don’t want to work anymore?”
Carol looked at him and said, “Yes, I don’t feel like working anymore”
Sam turned his body and sat face to face with Carol and said, “Why don’t we both start business together?”
Carol’s eyes also lit up in the excitement and she said, “I will think about it”
After chit-chatting for some time, Sam left.
Carol was thinking that it’s a good idea to start a business with Sam, he is her childhood friend, and she has a lot of savings which she can invest in the business and she won’t have to work for anyone.
When Carol was having lunch, she told her Mom about her business idea with Sam, and her Mom agreed only because she finally saw the spark in Carol’s eyes after so long which was lost.
Carol and Sam had planned to start a small café, and they started working towards it.
Today they had a meeting with the interior designer, as the given deadline for completion of work was close but the interior work was still not completed, so they were waiting in a restaurant; they were sitting at the table which was next to the glass wall facing the road.
They were waiting while chit-chatting, smiling happily. It was visible that they were enjoying each other’s company.
Lucas, who had just completed one of his meetings and was driving back to his office was sitting in the back seat and reading a file. Suddenly he felt a strong urge to look up and when he did it, the scene in front of him, Carol was chit-chatting with a man happily.
His palms unknowingly clenched in fists, grinding his teeth, his eyes become bloodshot.
The car passed the café, Lucas was very angry; he reached the office and started throwing stuff on the floor angrily.
In the last few days, he thought that he could live without Carol, even though he spent most of his nights in front of Carol’s house but at least during the daytime he was able to concentrate on his work.
