“My life would have been spoiled, but now it’s not like that” Carol’s Mom looked at her strong daughter with teary eyes and said, “You are really your father’s daughter, strong like him, I am so proud of you”
She continued wiping her tears, “I promise, from now onwards I will never force my any decision on you”
Carol smiled lightly and hugged her Mom, although Carol managed to console her Mom, but what about her, she knew that she doesn’t love him then why it is hurting her so much.
Carol’s Mom cooked food for both of them and had light dinner and they both slept together in Carol’s room.
Once Carol made sure that her Mom slept she got up from the bed and walked to the balcony and sat on the swing chair and thoughts from the day started running in her mind, and tears started rolling down on her cheeks.
But she wiped her cheeks and promised herself that she will not cry for a person who has left her on the altar in front of the whole world. She made up her mind that tomorrow morning she will go to the office and resign from this job.
And cut off all ties with William’s family at least from Lucas, she doesn’t want to see his face ever in her life.
She went back and slept hugging her Mom.
On the other hand, Alex was throwing stuff in his room and Alice was unable to control him for the very first time in her life, he was damn angry, he said holding her shoulders, “Believe me Alice, if he was not born from your womb, I would have killed him by now”
Alice knew what feelings Alex had for Carol, and she also had the same feeling for Carol, but today she was unable to do anything for that poor innocent girl.
Alice stood there waiting for Alex to calm down, after almost four hours Alex calmed down a little; Alice somehow made him eat something and made him sleep.
But before sleeping he said, “Tomorrow we are going to meet her and apologize even if her Mom slaps me” Alice nodded in agreement.
In Alexa’s room, James was trying to console crying Alexa, it was hurting him to see her tears.
She was not ready to listen to him she was continuously crying mumbling, “How could he do that to her”
James felt agitated and kissed her fiercely not knowing how to stop her from crying. Alexa was shocked but at the same time she melted in his kiss, he kissed her for almost five minutes and let her go when she was out of breath and he said in a pleading tone, “Please don’t cry love, I can’t see you like this”
Alexa hugged him, she felt very nice in his arms. James held her for some time and said, “Love you have to be strong, I won’t be here for few days, please be strong and take care of yourself for me”
At this moment it clicked to Alexa that he was supposed to leave for a business meeting today after the marriage ceremony, she asked looking into his eyes, “You were supposed to leave today?”
He nodded looking in her eyes and said, “After what all happened today, how can I leave you like this, and that too when I know how close you are to Carol”
She felt warmth in her heart and hugged him, he continued, “But Love, tomorrow I will have to leave, so please take care of yourself”
Alexa nodded in his arms, she felt very nice at this moment thinking he postponed his trip for her, he was here with her in this tough time, she dusted off all the negative thoughts about him and Olivia and hugged him tightly.
She felt like she was melting in his arms, James felt her relaxing body in his arms. He felt happy but his little member who was craving for Alexa for so long, woke up, and it was getting uncomfortable and uncontrollable for James.
James unknowingly started kissing her neck softly, Alexa didn’t resist him and he went on, he gently laid her on the bed and hovered over her, and started kissing her neck hungrily by pulling her dress from her shoulders.
This was all a new feeling for both of them, James wanted to go ahead but he stopped himself abruptly and only God knows how much effort it took him to stop himself from going further.
Alexa frowned when he suddenly stopped, he looked up in her eyes and said, “Love, I want to make our first time special, and I don’t want to do it when you are in a weak state of mind, I want your mind and heart to be filled only with me and my name when we make love for the first time”
Alexa felt so shy, but she agreed with what he said and she was happy that he wants their first time to be special, that he doesn’t want to take her for the first time when she is in a weak state of mind.
James kissed her forehead and stood up and went to the bathroom to take a cold shower to suppress the heat of his body.
On the other hand, Lucas took Catherine to their old house where they used to stay, he arranged a personal caretaker for her.
He laid her on the bed and was about to leave the room when Catherine held his hand and said with teary eyes, “Luc, have you forgiven me?, please give me one last chance for our baby, I promise I will be a very good wife and a mother”
Lucas pulled his hands back and said, “Cat, take rest for now, we will talk about it later” saying that Lucas walked out of the bedroom and headed to the study room.
He sat on his chair and things that happened today started flashing in his mind. He knows that he had done very wrong with Carol, but how could he leave his own child, he is not that cruel to forget his child.
