She doesn’t understand what else she needs to do to keep her husband by her side and happy.
After spending some time, Mr. and Mrs. Walker left.
At night after dinner, Autumn was lying in Edward’s arms and she asked gently, “Edward, are you happy with me?”
Edward frowned he asked playing with her hairs, “Baby, why do you ask such question, I am not happy, I am very happy with you”
Autumn sat on the bed and told him everything that Mrs. Walker told her.
Edward smiled pulled her in his arms and said again playing with her hair, “Baby, she might be worried seeing the divorce cases nowadays, so she gave you such advice”
“Don’t think much about it, I don’t have words to tell you how much I love you, what you mean to me, what is your importance in my life”
“I need you in my life like a fish need water to live”
She smiled hugged him tightly kissing on his cheeks, “I love you more than myself, you know we have to attend a party on this weekend”
Before Edward could ask, Autumn continued, “Timothy is hosting a party this weekend, so please come with me Mr. and Mrs. Walker came to invite us”
“You will come right?”
Edward nodded, how could he deny this little girl, the love of his life.
The week passed in a blink of an eye and it was party day already.
Autumn was very excited about the party as she had never attended such parties in the past.
Even though it was the weekend but Edward was hell busy in his office, he was surprised how come people who were not available for meeting for the last three months all agreed on the same day but he didn’t think much about it as it is beneficial for business.
He tried to finish his meetings and work as soon as possible so that he could accompany Autumn to the party; he didn’t want Autumn to go alone to that party.
He had already arranged a very pretty party gown for Autumn, he was imagining her in that gown he smiled unknowingly thinking how gorgeous she would look.
He was finishing his work so that he could see her as soon as possible.
On the other hand, as it was the weekend, Autumn didn’t have much work to do, so she went to the kitchen looking for Elizabeth.
Just in a few days, she got very close to Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth saw her she asked, “You need something, Mam”
Autumn felt annoyed and said, “Elizabeth how many times I have told you to call me Autumn, not Mam”
Elizabeth smiled and asked, “So tell me Little Autumn what brought you here?”
Autumn said happily, “You know Elizabeth, my grandma use to call me little Autumn on every call , but unfortunately I was unable to meet her because she a nurse in military so she was away fulfilling her duties for our country”
“You know that year when my parents got killed she promised me that she will come on Christmas but everything changed before that”
Autumn’s eyes were moist saying all these.
Elizabeth patted her head gently and said, “Your grandma must have loved you very much”
Autumn smiled, she said, “You come with me to accompany to the garden and talk to me”
Elizabeth smiled saying, “Give me a moment”
After that Elizabeth gave some instructions to the maids and walked out with Autumn.
They both walked out of the living room and headed towards the garden, Lee followed them.
Autumn frowned and said, “I am in premises only”
Lee replied gently, “Mam, I am just following orders”
Autumn didn’t want to make things hard for him, but suddenly she said out of blue, “You know Lee, sometimes I feel I have seen you somewhere”
“But I cannot recollect”
Lee facial expression changed immediately he looked at Elizabeth as if asking for help, understanding him Elizabeth interrupted, “Autumn it might be because as per fact there are seven people of same face”
Autumn smiled and said, “You are right Elizabeth, but I feel like Lee looks like someone very close to me”
Lee was standing there without any expression on his face, but Elizabeth felt something she said smiling, “Autumn, let go you said you wanted to talk to me”
Autumn replied, “Yes, come with me” she held Elizabeth’s hands and walked towards the bench in the garden
She turned and said to Lee, “Please don’t get too close to us, its girl’s talk”
Lee smiled gently and nodded.
Autumn sat next to Elizabeth and said, “Elizabeth, I want your advice on something”
Elizabeth nodded, Autumn, told her everything that Mrs. Walker told her on her last visit.
Elizabeth heard her silently after finishing Autumn asked, “Elizabeth, you tell me why she said those things to me”
Although Edward had assured her that he is very happy with her and she should not think much about it, Autumn didn’t want to take a little chance also where Edward is not happy with her and looks for happiness with other women.
Only the thought of this was killing Autumn.
Elizabeth smiled and said, “I can answer your question, but first you will have to tell me everything correctly whatever I ask”
Autumn nodded like an obedient child.
Elizabeth asked, “Have you two consummated your marriage?”
Autumn was surprised by her question but she nodded negatively because she wants to know how to keep Edward happy and for that she is willing to do anything.
Elizabeth continued, “I had doubt on it, Autumn a marriage without intercourse is incomplete”
Elizabeth continued “Master loves you so much that he is giving you so much time to accept this relationship, there are many man who go out with different women every night to satisfy their lust and specially people like Edward who are blessed with looks and wealth”
