He was lost in thoughts, seeing him worried so much the old maid said, “Master, please don’t worry so much, you have solution for it, it’s just that you have to give her some time and made her believe that no matter what you will be always there for her”
Edward nodded and asked, “Aunty, please don’t mind me asking, I know you are working in my home from very long time but I don’t know your name and how do you know so much about all this”
The old maid smiled politely and replied respectfully, “Master my name is Elizabeth and about knowing all these matters is nothing but the experience of life”
Edward nodded and asked curiously, “How about your family, I never saw you taking leaves to visit your family?”
The old lady smiled sadly and said, “I lost my son, daughter-in-law and my granddaughter in an accident”
Edward immediately replied, “I am sorry for your loss”
The old lady didn’t say anything and was about to leave, but Edward said immediately, “Elizabeth, from now onwards you will be personal care taker of Autumn”
The old lady smiled ear to ear. Her happiness was visible on her face, she smiled and nodded.
Edward went back to his bedroom and found Autumn rubbing her eyes sitting on the bed. Edward cursed, “Oh! God why she has to be so cute all the time”
He immediately ran towards her and took her in his arms and asked, patting her head slowly, “What happened, why are you up?”
Autumn replied in a sweet sleepy tone, “You said you will let me eat ice-cream, I want to eat ice-cream which you bought for me”
Edward felt like he is not dealing with his wife but daughter, he smiled kissed her forehead, and said, “Baby, I brought ice-cream for you but the shop from where I brought the ice-cream was far from home so the ice-cream melted”
“I have asked the maids to keep it in the freezer, wait for some time and after dinner you can eat”
Autumn broke the hug looked at him and asked pouting, “Promise”
Edward cursed god again for making her so cute, it is getting harder for him to control himself and this girl is challenging him now and then.
He cupped her cheeks and said smiling and controlling himself from not jumping on her and eat her at this moment, “Promise”
He knew he didn’t bring any ice cream for her but he didn’t want to break her hope so he went in with her. She must have dreamed about it.
Days passed and finally Autumn was better, Edward and Autumn were having breakfast, and as usual, Edward was feeding her with his hands.
After breakfast, Edward asked Autumn to follow him to the study room and Autumn did as her husband asked for.
When they entered the study room, Edward sat on his chair and let Autumn sit on his lap, he held her waist and pulled out some documents from a drawer, and said, “Baby please sign this document”
Autumn frowned and asked, “What documents are these?”
Edward smiled and replied, “First you sign and I will tell you”
Autumn trusted Edward more than her shadow; she didn’t ask any more questions and signed the papers.
After that, she turned to him and asked, “Now, tell me what these papers are?”
Edward replied, “These are our divorce papers”
Autumn face went pale and tears were about to flow when Edward hugged her and said, “Baby, I was just kidding, please don’t cry”
“I promise I will never do such things”
Autumn looked at his face and asked innocently, “Promise?”
Edward kissed her face and said, “Promise, I will never do such things again”
Autumn smiled and asked, “Now, tell me what these papers are?”
Edward become a little serious and said, “After signing these documents you become the owner of my 50% property”
Autumn’s face turned red in anger, she stood up from his lap and said angrily, “Why do you have to do this? You think I want to marry you for your money? You think I am a gold digger” while saying all these tears were already rolling down her cheeks.
Edward stood up and said holding her shoulders, “Baby, please listen to me, it was Mr. Walkers demand”
Autumn frowned and said, “Why would he do that? He is not a that kind of person”
Edward smiled and said, “Baby, what he did, I would never blame him, because if a guy suddenly popup from nowhere and ask my daughter to marry him and that to in a foreign county, I would have asked all this property on my daughter’s name”
“Mr. Walker was kind enough to ask only 50% from me”
Autumn replied, “But I don’t want your money”
Edward again tried to explain her coaxing her, “Baby, everything I own is your now, you are my wife, you own me, you own whatever I own”
Autumn asked curiously, but Edward found it cute, “What if I run away with your money?”
Edward pulled her closer and said, “Simple, you take me also with you”
Autumn didn’t want this money but Edward would have closure for all her questions, she was about to open her mouth to say something but Edward crashed his lips on hers.
Autumn’s mind went blank, his kisses have always been her weakness, he can make her forget the whole world.
She was kissing him back and Edward was losing his control, he said while kissing, “Baby, let’s stop, otherwise I will lose my control and eat you up here only”
But Autumn was frustrated when his lips parted away from her, she pulled him back and kissed him.
Edward also kissed back, he held her waist and made her sit on the table without breaking the kiss. Both were kissing passionately, Edward was losing himself in her fragrance, her smooth porcelain skin.
