” To think of the horrors we had to go through in the past days, it’s really a thing of joy that we can finally enjoy some safety in this damn town.” Said Felix the captain of the Bear Creek football club who held on tight to the hands of Maine, his girlfriend. Felix had been training all day for the big match which was coming the next day. As the captain of the club, there was an added responsibility on his side to make sure he gave his best to teammates who had voted him as captain. In his book, there was no room for failure and it with that, he knew just how had he had to work hard to keep up to their expectations. His girlfriend, Maine had been so supportive of her boyfriends dream of playing in the National league someday. He was good and had the prospects thus giving him, her total devotion and time was an investment which she was committed.
” I heard it used to be bad. So bloody and scary that no one dared to come outside once it was dark.” Said Maine as she enjoyed the warmth in her boyfriends proximity.
” Even at day, we walked in fear. We really did. I’m just glad the dark days are over. I can finally concentrate on my dreams of becoming the mega super Star I always wanted to become.” He said with a smile on his face while holding her waist softly.
” I believe In you. I have no doubt that you are the next big thing in this game. When you finally become millionaire, life would be so much fun for us. Tell me those things you say you will do for me again.” She said with a smile on her face.
” I know you are my number one boo. Listen up, I don’t mean to brag but I feel it deep in my soul that money is coming. Trust me babe it is. I will take you to Dubai and then Paris and then Moscow. Baby do you know a place called Venice. I will take you there.”
” Wow boo. You really going take me round the world. You don’t think of the fares do you?” She chuckled.
” What God damn fares are you talking about babe. Gas fares you mean? Cause we are going to be cruising in my private jet. Yes babe I’m buying us a private jet.” He said and didn’t even laugh. It was how serious he took the dreams of the future.

” Let’s get it going baby. I stay with you cause you are smart! Hell yes and our kids.” Said the young stud as they kept lancing through the semi lighted Street. There no was fear in their mind, all they had in their mind was love and nothing more.
” Your confidence makes me want to have a baby right now.” Maine said and he could feel her clutch growing tighter on his upper hand. With it was a code he knew a lot.

” If you tap it so hard then we might actually be making kids.” She chuckled softly and clutched his arms tighter while they dawned for the Park. The walk to the park was peaceful with little or no sound from the streets. Since it was past eleven, many people had retired to the comforts of their homes. The scenery was just perfect for the business at hand. The park was dark in some areas and was sparsely lighted in some areas. They headed straight to the darkest area and quickly began to take off their clothes.

Now and then she could feel the cold sweat from his face pelt over her bare white back as moaned allow and navigated her waist to give him all the cooperation he didn’t get with his kit sponsors. A cold drop more, and then two, till a warm splash on her back had caused her to wonder how he was able to spill so much with so minimal noise. He knelt headless, his neck squirting out pints of blood like a faulty fountain, before eventually falling collapsing to the left side of the ground. She screamed at the top of her boy voice and it was all she could do when she felt two sharp objects deep in the neck bone. It was over.
” Did you see that Durban?” Gallagher asked as he stood at the rooftop of a skyscraper. Durban stood next to him. ” Yes Boss. I see it clearly.” He expressed with a smile.
” What did you see.” Gallagher said, gazing down at the dark park.”
” I see our Friends at the Silos, doing the work of Uriel.” Durban dimmed as he gazed at the beastly apparitions reaping and eating the couples as if they were sushi.
” Bull’s-eye. I’m the savior of Bear Creek. Dubois have enjoyed too much peace. It’s time to flip the pact. Let’s go.” Gallagher said and walked away. Without looking back. Dubois could only smile at the uncertainties that awaited the people of Bear Creek.
