The north

Book:She's Snack For The Rival Alphas Published:2024-6-2

As Agiyon walked through the path along with his soldier, he couldn’t help but think of Luitsi and her reaction to his journey. He felt she didn’t want him to go and perhaps, she had seen something that didn’t go down well with her. Still lost in his thoughts, he was sent staggering to the floor by the impact of sling shot to the back of his head.
” Kanobi! Help me” he called out to his soldier who also doubled as his guard. Kanobi had tried to react but soon found himself ensnared in the net of a hunter. He tossing was of no use as he couldn’t manage to free himself from the twines of the net. Agiyon who hadn’t drank a single of gulp of Alcohol tried to quickly stagger up but was brought down with yet another sling shot which mockingly struck his stomach. It was hard enough to take him to the floors of the bushes all over again. ” Kanobi you bastard is this what I picked you for. Get down and save me.” He cried out as he crawled to where he didn’t know in particular. Soon there was heavy laughter from the surrounding Abys. The laughter grew deeper while Kanobi could only pray for a merciful end as he was immobile and prone to getting skewed.
” You little drunken friend of mine. You haven’t changed a bit Agiyon.” Cackled the a short and fat figure who had nothing on him but a female purple panties that had many cowries stitched to it. For a friendly voice that was so familiar to pop up at such a time when he was being attacked, made him to conclude he had been killed and was ascending to heaven. He quickly began to check around for his own blood as he crawled away in a clandestine motion which only made his attackers laugh even harder.
” Look at him like a rat. No one would believe that this looser is chief.” Stated, the stunted dude who held his Belly and gave the hyenas a run for their larynx. Agiyon finally got exhausted of scribbling around and finally came to a halt, panting heavily from almost moving nowhere. He finally turned to see whatever it was that was going to kill him.
” Montana! You bastard. Montana!” He called out with glee as he tried to stand up with his hand thrown wide open in a hug. Montana didn’t hold back he rushed to the ground and eloped his childhood friend in a hug. ” Man you looked so damn scared, crawling around like some crab on the shores.” Enunciated Montana and helped his friend up.
” Cut down the soldier. They are our friends.” He added.
” Man look at you. You haven’t aged a bit. How are your parents and how have you been.
” You drink to much that’s why I look better. My parents are dead. You are now talking to the warrior chief of the Crows of the north.” Said the Montana and began to swagger humorously with his head held high to the clouds.
” Wow!!! Long live the chief. I’m sorry about your parents. You know it’s been ages. Like fifteen years or more.” .
” Twenty years man! The last time we met. You were seventeen and I was sixteen. Now I’m thirty six and you are?” Said Montana after quitting his showoff.
” I’m thirty years old.” Said Agiyon with a stammer. He was dumb enough to lie about his age after Montana had served him the basics.
” You will never stop lying you bastard. It’s how you get all those girls to your bed of hay! Hahahah” he laughed out and kept on laughing when the net that held kanobi was yanked off, throwing him down with a thud.
” I’m not lying. You know I don’t age like you my friend. Thirty six is old.” He said with a fake smile as he realized time had really passed him by without him even knowing. In his mind he felt he was twenty. It was drinking all day and night for more than twenty years had done to his life.
” Yes you are a liar we all know that. Tell me how many wives do you have now. I have six and I have eighteen children. King-size.” He said again and cackled hardly while his two gaurds remained motionless in battle stance. As for Agiyon he hence wanted to proof that he was no more a liar, yet telling his friend that he wasn’t yet married was going to make him feel embarrassed. He kept shut for a while thinking of the best option till his friend finally spoke.
” Oh my God! You have no wife yet. No no no … not even one?” Montana bellowed in shock as his eyes widened in disarray. The silence of his friend was more than enough approval for him to know his guess was correct.
” I can’t believe this shit. Agiyon the he goat without a wife. What happened to you man. Did the crocodiles take your balls in the stream?” He asked and there wasn’t a smile on his face.
” Not at all Brother. It’s just that time seemed to have passed by too fast. Are we really thirty seven?” He asked again and gradually took his gaze off the floor in sadness.
” Hell yeah you are thirty seven and I’m thirty six. We ain’t kids no more bro. I can’t believe you have no wives. Do you have kids?” He asked again thrusting his head foreword in inquisition. Yet again, his inquiry came out negative causing the studded fat chief to cringe in empathy.
” Damn it man. I had no idea you were being tortured in that land of yours. You welcome to the north. Trust me when I say you won’t be spending the night without a wife anymore.” He said and stretched his hands forward to his friend who couldn’t believe how much time he had spent without achieving anything worth the while.
” Indeed I have wasted a lot of my time doing nothing. It’s sad. I will take a wife as soon as I get home.” He said and sighed deeply in frustration.
” Not when you go back but here. I have a dozen of maidens you can pick from. Look man, I don’t even mean to brag but my first two daughters are already of age and I can give them one to you. I have reasons to believe you fled from the stringent life of the redfoots. Stay here and live the good life man. No one and I mean no one will judge you here.” Said Montana with all shades of seriousness.
” I may have a woman I will love to marry when I get back home.” Said Agiyon, thinking about Luitsi and how she was going to feel if never returned or if he returned with a wife.
” Love you say? Who still marries for love. Sorry to disappoint you but I already married my first wife out of love. The rest five I had to marry for one reason or the other ranging from politics to resolution of disputes.” You are royalty and you should know all this things. If your people are stopping you from taking a bride then I guess it’s time you left that throne to someone else and lived your life to the fullest.” He said with all the soberness in the woods. It caused Agiyon to further pause and reflect deeply on his life.
” You are right. I have been chief for so long and have nothing to show for it. There are a thousand and then one thing that I would like to do but can’t because I’m a damn chief. I won’t continue like this! I won’t Montana.” He barked out and snarled in rage as he tried to ascribe blames to his clan for all the setbacks in his life.
” Good. Now come with me. Let’s have a small feast to welcome you and then you shall pick a wife. Don’t worry. I will pay the dowry for you my friend.” Said Montana and as he threw his short hand over the shoulders of Agiyon. It could hardly stay there past a second since he was too short to keep stretching it. They walked away in pair, while their guards followed suit. Agiyon was going to take a wife but the thoughts of betraying Luitsi, kept on plaguing his mind. He didn’t want the wife so badly. He hated the aspect of his clans laws that forbade royalties from wedding a cripple or a retard. He felt it was better to let all go and run away.
