No sooner had Haul sat down and began to smoke with his blood stained fingers had Sacramento walked straight to him on his normal corpse oriented fashion of motion. He bent his head towards the mans ear and began to speak.
” I let you on to a thousand dollar service just for a paltry sum of two hundred. I want the rest of the remuneration.” Said Sacramento and stretched his hands forward.
” Well Feces. I want lie. She felt like a virgin and cried like one to. She bled so easy and I loved her screams. She’s really one with the talents. A thousand Is to much Feces” whimpered Haul who felt Sacramento’s name sounded like shit so he could as well just call him Feces.
” My name is Sacramento or call me Calistus. It’s my maiden name. We will settle for a five hundred. She’s Worth a five hundred. Give me the three hundred for my problems. Remember I always bring you the best woman to fuck.” Drawled Sacramento with his thin hands stretched forward.
” Well you don’t lie there Calistus. You don’t. Here.” Exclaimed Haul after flipping out three bills of a hundred dollar note and gave it to Sacramento who put it into his pocket for doing nothing at all. He looked around from left to write like someone who had stole something before walking away to spend his high commission. Marilyn stood in the cobalt illuminated closet. The tap had been running and she couldn’t have enough to wash the touch of haul of her face. She wanted to take bath but was scared of catching pneumonia after getting much exposure from the cold. In the early morning she was shivering from cold, now she was trembling from pain. There wasn’t a joint in her body which didn’t ache from his brutality all for a two hundred. The upper region of her gown was stained with blood and in as much as she has tried to wash it off with the running water it’s still remained quite visible and a bit less screaming like she had been stabbed in the heart. The bloody dress had not even dried when she head the roaring sounds of power bikes as they towards the building. Gallagher had to be back and she hurried out to see for herself.
” Bastard!” She uttered in a deep whisper as she saw him in a distance, alighting from his Harley Davidson bike.
” Marilyn! My goodness it skipped my memory that you were supposed to be here. I really knew there was something I was forgetting but I just didn’t know it was you. How are you.” He said as he walked towards her while his gang members alighted from their bikes. As he went closer to her, all he could pick was the smell of her blood and nothing more.
” What happened to do. Who did this to your face.” He asked her after dawning on her and assessing the bruises on her face.
” Haul. He wanted a session and battered the hell out of me. I wasn’t going to be able to pay for the cab If hadn’t let him drag me to hell and back.” She said as she exerted a scowl of rage.
” Haul huh. I see. Only that monster can do such a thing like this. Well maybe others to can to. This is just fucked up.” Said Gallagher and walked past her. She followed him and just when she thought he was going to confront Haul for hurting her, he took the next and headed straight to his office. She paused at juncture for a second and sighed deeply before following in his path. She didn’t need to knock. She just needed to go into the office and shut the door subconsciously. He noticed.
” I see how you are fast to navigate your way around the style of business around here. You see people who come here are either hardworking earners who come to have a good time with their hard earned money and hardworking workers who work very hard to give them value for their money as well. The watch word here is hard. It’s a hard world. Nothing comes easy this days. It’s so hard a earn a decent coin on the street. Here, you earn money but you got to really earn it.” Said Gallagher as he gazed at the wet shirt of Marilyn who seemed to have her eyes on something else. Clearly, Haul had fondled her roughly and get her aroused for all bad reasons and he left unsatisfied, angry and bruised. She needed Gustavo and since she couldn’t get him, then she needed Gallagher to ease her pain. Why else had she subconsciously shot the door. She thought as she tried to battle off her restlessness.
