” What is it. You didn’t think you were going to walk did you.” He asked in majesty after scooping her off the ground with his powerful hands and balancing her rear on the inner portion of his muscular hands like she was some little kid.
” You are .. you are really strong.” She tremored, fighting a war of modesty as she tried not to hold his broad shoulders for balance. Hold on tight. I run very fast. ” He said and gazed at her, this time around his dark Stormy eyes were face to face with the innocent azure of her blue eyes. A closer look at him had exposed too so much load of his screaming handsomeness and it was only a matter of seconds before she was panting deeply while she got lost in the lullabies his eyes sang to her.
“Okay. ” She said In a sullen tone and turned her gaze away. Her life was about to be thrown in an emotional dilemma and she knew it wasn’t going to be an easy one. Catori could tell a thing or two about the moistness in her eyes. He said nothing. Even if she was already in love with Maximin, he was going to fight for her love.
” Shall we proceed.” He asked her as he gazed at the meadow.
” Wait. Just a second.” She silvered slowly, Let me hold on a little tighter.” She said and took her hands off his shoulders and applied them over his neck before bringing the side of her head to rest on his shoulder.
” Run with me. I will pray against the bear.” She said.
” Yes, the bear. That’s Fine.” He said and began to walk, then jug and soon, he was flying through the woods with the stamina of a stallion. In his alms, she felt all the peace she had always yearned for, all the tranquility nature had denied her and all the presence, loneliness had taken away from her. How was he somewhere in the woods and left her all alone she wondered as she enjoyed the masculine perfumery of his black pony tail.
” Amelia, where next would we go from here?” He asked gazing at the meadow with absence of fear in his stance.
” That huckleberry tree. It’s some minute walk away from it. There are bear!!” Was all she could say before she was cut shut by the energetic galloping of the Catori. He knew what needed to do and didn’t need any warning from her.
” You move so fast. Can you bring me down? I will like to flex my leg a little she said. He knew what she was running away from_ an emotional confrontation of two forces.
” Are you sure you want to walk? Where is this friend of yours?” He asked her as he gazed around.
” He was there when I left him. Oh my God I hope no harm have gotten to him.” She cried out and began to stretch her legs to the ground. She wanted to search for him herself. He bent downwards a little and dropped her on the floor.
” Steady now Amelia. Your aren’t strong yet. Do not stray an inch far from me.” He said with an iota of command in his tone.” She wasn’t listening.
” Maxmin! She called out” as she scampered In circles searching for her first savior.
” You would call the bears if you keep doing that.” Said Catori who still had his spear handy as he hawked his gaze across the surrounding radius.
” Where you sure he was here?” He asked again ” if he was really here, then I’m sorry he may have been taking by the wolves. The woods are dangerous for a loved one to be left alone. Well unless being alone is what they seek.” He said with a sullen tone and sniffed softly.
” Yes just over there. I can tell by that bolder and this tree. I tried to drag him over here and amass him with it’s leaves but he just wouldn’t bulge. I have failed him and saved my life.”
” He’s not dead. Come over. It’s the next hedge. This woods can be similar at times said Catori and lanced across the field where he had picked the movement of a man.. Amelia’s heart leapt in joy as she hopped along Catori who was quick to reach his latest rival. He had managed to stand on his feet and spread his hands open in anticipation of an assault. Catori stood gazing at the weak looking fellow who could hardly stand without dangling for balance. Yet the manner of his stance was provocative. Too provocative for the prince of the wild to take for granted. He pulled his spear backwards and waited for to parry any surprises the weak fellow was going to exhibit.
” Maximin. You are alive.” She intoned at the height of her joy and rushed towards him, passing Catori in the process.
” Amelia. You came back” he uttered and coughed hardly, inking out blood as he did.
” His been poisoned.” Said Catori as he gazed keenly at the dark coloration of the blood and the level of bubbles in it. Amelia wouldn’t let him out of her embrace as he kept his gaze on Catori, gazing at his presence with contempt.
” Too tired to keep standing. He fell on his knees, being careful not to topple Amelia who was holding him up in her embrace.
” Catori would help us. He is kind. He saved my life.” She muttered to him, in a bid to keep his guard down.
” Hello Friend. You are poisoned by an Oxygenated silver. You need an antidote or you will be paralyzed and eventually die.” Said Catori and withdrew the stance of his spear.
” Yes I know. I searched for help. My wound hasn’t healed a bit. I can’t say why. I was lacerated by glass. It was just glass.” He groaned feeling suffocated by his own lungs.
” Well it may have been poisoned or maybe… Maybe. Let’s just get you to safety.” Said Catori and walked towards Maximin. Who knelt on plane earth. The fact that his latest rival was already kneeling before him, gave him the feeling of a conqueror.
” Dear, get up. Pull your strength together let’s take this journey one step at a time.” Said Amelia and held his hands pulling him upwards in a bid to get him up. She wasn’t insensitive of his honest predicament, rather it was the fear of having to be ensnared by Gallagher, that drove her to command him so.
” He can’t work. Hold my spear.” Said Catori and handed the steel ware to his Crush.
” My friend. I will have you on my back. It’s the only way you can make it the mountain in time and maybe alive.” Said the warrior and turned his back.
” Thank you. I appreciate you brother.” Groaned Maximin and pulled the last of his strength to stand up. He was too dizzy to coordinate his rigidness, he fell forward but was intercepted by the back of Catori who groaned at the weight of his rival.
” Heavy. Too heavy for normalcy.” He mumbled and began to walk for home while Amelia hopped after him. Once again she couldn’t get her eyes from Catori. The selflessness in his act was mind-blowing and she could hear her heartbeats singing his praises. If she had ensnared him, his good heart would have led him to his death. He was truly selfless and as they walked through the bushes, she could hardly think of Maximin. Her new Hero was stealing her mind away. A fatal love triangle was brewing in the stellar and she new it had consequences.
