Jane Gardner remembered Sim as she wished and she headed over towards Maravilla.
When she got to Maravilla, it was just as Zachary Irwin had said, Xin Ruwan had been taken by him.
As Jane Gardner thought about her situation, she realized that Ottilia Amos was probably the only person she could rely on to protect Ruwan.
With that thought in mind, when she rushed back to the hospital once again, Ottilia Amos was already pretending to be unconscious, and no matter how many people were in the room, as long as she wasn’t there, she wouldn’t wake up.
“Where have you been? How long have we been gone this long? And you couldn’t wait to leave?” Zachary Irwin had just returned Kiyoshi to The Shine, and when he turned around and rushed to the hospital, all he saw was Ottilia Amos lying alone in a hospital bed.
Jane Gardner was nowhere to be seen.
He held off calling her just to see how long she could hang out.
“Two whole hours and thirty minutes! Tell me, where have you been? Who is it that you can’t stop thinking about when you’re hospitalized? Did you go to find Zhong Jinghao? Or did he never leave at all and has been waiting for you somewhere?”
Zachary Irwin sat on the sofa with an elegant posture.
Seeing Jane Gardner return, he sidled his head slyly, his body glowing with a reserved air.
“You brought Ruwan back to The Shine?” Jane Gardner stared searingly at Zachary Irwin, that was all she wanted to know.
“You are no longer worthy of being her mother, and although Kiyoshi has never given birth, she is a better caretaker than you! I’m relieved to leave Ruwang in her care!” Zachary Irwin knew that Jane Gardner didn’t like Xiaoqing, and he was partial to it.
He was there to show Jane Gardner that disobeying him would not end well.

He stabilized Xiao Qing so that Gu Yi wouldn’t suspect him and wouldn’t investigate the existence of the lab.
