Just as Jane Gardner was about to turn off her cell phone to get some sleep, Yiren Gu’s call came in.
“I’ve checked it out for you, that movie ‘Windfall’ is now looking for a second female lead, Jane Gardner, I think that role is very suitable for you, why don’t you go and try?”
The role Gu Yi Ren chose for Jane Gardner would definitely not be a good one.
“Sure, send me the time and address, I’ll go.” But Jane Gardner accepted anyway, and did so with a smile.
“Aren’t you going to ask what exactly I’m asking you to play?” The more Guile saw Jane Gardner obey, the less she could do, “It’s a worker in the red light district! And a deaf-mute, very similar to that dumb girl’s drama you acted in before!”
“I quite like playing disabled people, thanks for introducing me.” Jane Gardner snapped her fingers into her hand; she guessed it wouldn’t be a good role, but she didn’t expect it to be a sex worker.
As a rule, though, the more menial the role, the more the acting skills were tested.
Jane Gardner hadn’t acted for most of the year, and it wasn’t out of the question for her to return to the cast.
Selena Lott hadn’t slept well all night, and as she was in a daze, she always remembered Mr. Irwin Rin’s smile before he left.
Therefore, she was the earliest to get up.
Seeing Jane Gardner coming down from upstairs, she hurriedly brought over a glass of light salty water to her, “Jane, are we going out today? Can you take me with you?
“Where do you want to go?” Jane Gardner took a sip of the water and put the glass down.
“Anywhere, just don’t leave me idle!” Selena Lott thought that she was a bit of a fiend.
But as long as she was busy, she was sure to forget Mr. Irwin Rin.

Ada Williams saw her and Jane Gardner as well.
Jane Gardner was genuinely surprised that a movie queen as big as Ada Williams would come to a place like this to grab a role, and she steeply turned away, not wanting to make an awkward scene.
But Ada Williams was staring at her, and walked up to her.
She raises her hand, about to hit Jane Gardner.
Selena Lott choked Ada Williams’ wrist, “What are you doing! Don’t think you’re a tough guy because you’ve been on drugs! What gives you the right to hit Jane?”
Jane Gardner had her back turned and didn’t notice Ada Williams’ movements, and it was only when she heard Selena Lott’s voice that she realized what Ada Williams was trying to do.
“Selena, get off of her!” She said to Selena Lott.
“Who am I to hit her? Ask her yourself! Selena Lott, I know you’re on good terms with Jane Gardner, but don’t forget, you’re Chen Si Yu’s manager now! Not her Jane Gardner’s follower!”
Ada Williams was certain that the reason why she was forced by the police to go to rehab was because Jane Gardner reported her.
Therefore, she had been doing her best to get clean these past few months, with the aim of getting out one day earlier so that she could settle the score with Jane Gardner.
“Who is Chen Si Yu? Am I her agent?” Selena Lott was confused.
Jane Gardner walks up to Selena Lott and confronts Ada Williams, “Everyone is here for the audition today, you don’t have to make everyone look so bad! If you really hate me so much, then show what you’re supposed to be and take my role!”
“You think you can be considered an actor if you’ve acted in a few dramas? You didn’t know where you were when I was hanging out in dramas. Jane Gardner, don’t you like to sing? Didn’t you say that you want to work towards being a singer?
Since your goal is to sing and you don’t like acting at all, don’t act like you love it! It makes me sick to look at you!” The one thing Ada Williams is best at, and most confident in, is her acting.
She’s not as popular these days as she was before, but she has acting skills that are rooted deep in her heart.
As soon as the director yells start, she can easily step into any role.
At this point, she was certain that Jane Gardner was not as good as her and could not match her!
Jane Gardner recognized that Ada Williams was right, and she didn’t refute it.
It was true that she didn’t like acting, and if it wasn’t for Gu Yiren’s aggressiveness, she wouldn’t have come over for the audition at all.
“Hmph! We’ll see!” Ada Williams saw that Jane Gardner didn’t say anything, and on the other side, someone was shouting at her, so she straightened her clothes and turned to leave.

Inside The Sound of the Wind, the second female character was called Miao Hong, nineteen years old, a deaf-mute, and in order to make ends meet, she had to work in the red light district.
Her first customer is the male lead.
The male lead was brought to the red-light district by a friend of his because he broke up with his first girlfriend and was heartbroken.
They give up their first time to each other in a youthful manner, obviously a patronizing and trading relationship, but gradually a relationship develops between the two.
And today’s audition, Jane Gardner drew the plot, is Miao Hong after falling in love with the hero, obviously want to be together, but because of their own humble, have to pretend not love, ruthless rejection of the hero of a plot.
Obviously, in the three minutes that Jane Gardner auditioned for the role, she had to bring out the depth of her love for the male lead and her low self-esteem.
After all, she was not a professional, so if she showed too much, she would look pompous, and if she showed too little, she would not be able to emphasize her character.
Jane Gardner mused, and soon it was her turn.
“Go for it!” Selena Lott smiled at Jane Gardner, who was rather happy and pleasant.
Jane Gardner didn’t know whether to envy or agonize over Selena Lott’s situation, she smiled weakly at her and turned to go in for her audition.
She thought about it, since she wasn’t originally from a science class, she thought of herself as Miao Hong, and Zachary Irwin as the male lead, and whatever feelings she had for Zachary Irwin, Miao Hong would have for the male lead.
The difference is that Miao Hong is afraid to love because of her disability.
Jane Gardner, on the other hand, for the sake of Zachary Irwin’s health and life, obviously loves but dares not admit her love.
At the end of the three minutes, Jane Gardner closed her eyes, her tears still on her face.
All the judges sitting in front of her looked at Jane Gardner and half applauded, “Miss Gardner, we have one last question, you have participated in quite a few shows recently, may I ask, do you still have the schedule to participate in our movie?”
Jane Gardner was surprised to hear the director ask this question, “Yes! Since I came to audition for the movie, it means I’m prepared for all kinds of things.”
Jane Gardner did like the role of Miao Hong more and more, and even, was a bit grateful to Gu Yi Ren.
“Okay, then Miss Gardner will go out first, and we’ll inform you of the results later by way of a phone call.”
Jane Gardner bowed to everyone as she walked out.
Selena Lott was more excited than Jane Gardner when she saw her come out, “Well? Is there hope?”
Jane Gardner remembers the question the director asked herself and she nods hesitantly, “I think there is, but we can’t be sure yet.”
“Is it? I’d say you’re bound to fall short!” Just as Jane Gardner and Selena Lott were about to leave, Ada Williams came up behind them with her arms looped.
She had a sneer on her face and disdainful eyes.
