“Where are you going?” Jane Gardner’s breath tightened as she saw Zachary Irwin drive the car in the direction of Maravilla.
“The way I see it, you’re probably too idle in general, and since you’re married to me and have given me children, mothering is the life you should be living. I don’t care what kind of singer-star you are, push off all your work and settle down at home to take care of Ruwan!”
Zachary Irwin looked askance at Jane Gardner in the backseat, his tone unkind, even impatient in every way.
