Zachary Irwin asked Dale Garcia to help Jane Gardner put her clothes and cell phone away as he went after her.
When they arrived in Barstow City, Ross Lee and Lily Benz were being investigated at the police station.
Jane Gardner met them after Zachary Irwin unblocked the relationship.
“Cough, cough, cough, Jane, what are you doing here?” Lily Benz saw Jane Gardner, who had a dry cough and looked paler than the last time she saw her.
“Bonnie Lee told me that you were in the emergency room last time, what happened to your body? Why didn’t you tell me this whole time?” Jane Gardner looked at Lily Benz, who felt guilty.
With all her attention on Zachary Irwin during this time, she did neglect Lily Benz.
“The cancer has still spread after the transplant, Jane, I don’t have much time left. This time since you are here, you must help your father, he was really framed, The Lee family after falling into the hands of Ron Lee, he deliberately set your father up in order to avenge Vivian Walker.”
Lily Benz was not going to tell Jane Gardner about her health, she didn’t want her to worry about herself.
She hadn’t done anything for Jane Gardner in her life, and she felt bad that she had become a burden to her at the end of her life.
She doesn’t have much time, but Ross Lee still has time, and she hopes that before she dies, Jane Gardner will be able to identify with Ross Lee.
Jane Gardner heard Lily Benz call Ross Lee her father, and she didn’t look over at him.
All along, she did not interfere with Lily Benz’s renewed relationship with Ross Lee, but she never recognized Ross Lee as her father.
She didn’t want to admit it either.
Now Lily Benz said so, obviously to force himself to admit.
“Jane, your mother’s health is not good, I go out or squat inside, it makes no difference at all, you don’t have to worry about me. It’s a relief for your mother and me to see you and Zachary come to see me together today and know that you’ve made up.”
Ross Lee looked lovingly at Jane Gardner, who he hadn’t looked closely enough last time to see who had texted him to tell him Jane Gardner was in the suburbs.
Only after they returned to Barstow City did he discover that the number with no notes, just a string of numbers, belonged to Zachary Irwin.
“In the future, you have to be together, and when you are happy, we will be happy.”
Jane Gardner looked at Ross Lee and listened to the words that came out of his mouth, and her heart rolled with the knowledge that Ross Lee was good to Lily Benz and good to herself.
But the “Dad”, she still can not say.
“If you were really framed, then this matter cannot be dismissed! Do you remember, when The Lee family and the Irwin family settled this marriage, were there any other tokens besides that box? For example, a ring?”
Jane Gardner thought about Ron Lee’s words, and she gasped gently, waiting for the pain to pass before asking.
Zachary Irwin looked on as he grabbed Jane Gardner’s hand, giving her warmth and reassurance.
“The ring? It is strange to say that the Irwin family and The Lee family, one in Dragon City and the other in Barstow City, the two families usually have nothing to do with each other, so why did the elderly of the previous generation set such a marriage? Moreover, in the bright yellow silk scroll, it was stated that the marriage between the two families could only be used for the grandchildren’s generation, and Zachary’s and my parents’ generation were not allowed to be married.”
Ross Lee’s father never mentioned to him the marriage contract between The Lee family and the Irwin family, and if he hadn’t handed over the box to himself before he died, he might not have known about it for the rest of his life.
However, Ross Lee did not take that marriage to heart after seeing the contents of the box because neither Bonnie Lee nor Max Lee were his biological daughters.
It wasn’t until he later met Lily Benz, who tumbled into the news that she had given him a daughter, and found Jane Gardner, that he remembered the incident.
I don’t know if it was meant to be, but Jane Gardner and Zachary Irwin got married early before he took the scroll of silk out.
“However, I only received the box from my father and did not find the ring. Also, when the two families first met, Ottilia Amos did not mention the ring. jane, where did you hear this? How did he know there was still a ring for the letter?”
Jane Gardner looked at her surroundings and kept Ron Lee’s kidnapping of Steven Irwin to herself.
She only mentions that it was Ron Lee who said it, other than that, she didn’t tell them.
“And where did he know about the existence of the ring? Could he be lying to you?”
Jane Gardner recalls the look of certainty in Ron Lee’s eyes when he came over to them asking for the ring, not believing he was lying to himself, and unable to find a reason for him to do so.
“Since there’s no ring, we’ll go back to The Shine and ask Grandma. As for your case, we won’t ignore it!” Zachary Irwin gave the last word and he took Jane Gardner with him and left.
Before he left, he explained the relationship of the institute to help take care of Ross Lee.
As for Lily Benz, she refused to go back to Dragon City with Jane Gardner. She wanted to wait for Ross Lee in Barstow City so that no one would be here to take care of him when he needed someone.
Jane Gardner could see that Lily Benz really loved Ross Lee, and she didn’t take her by force.
Leaving a bodyguard with her, he and Zachary Irwin headed to Dragon City again without stopping.
They arrived at The Shine and after telling Ottilia Amos everything, Ottilia Amos pondered for a long time.
Followed by a gemstone ring from the safe.
“What you guys are talking about, should be this ring, back in the day, The Lee family and the Irwin family engagement, originally had this ring as a letter, but then, this ring was taken out by The Lee family people to auction, is I tossed around many people, only to buy back again at a high price. You guys take it and bring Steven back.”
Ottilia Amos fondled the ring in her hand as she sat down in her chair, leaning lightly against the back of the chair and closing her eyes.
Jane Gardner took the ring. She didn’t dare delay and took Zachary Irwin to Ron Lee.
Bonnie Lee was already there when Jane Gardner found Ron Lee.
“What do you want?” Ron Lee pressed frantically when he saw Bonnie Lee get into a car with Steven Irwin in her arms.
“Brother, I’ve helped you a lot, in the future, I just want to live for myself!” Bonnie Lee looked back at Ron Lee and saw them again, she told the car to drive faster and the man left with Steven Irwin.
Jane Gardner and Zachary Irwin saw this and went after them in time.
Ron Lee also gave chase.
Bonnie Lee looked back at those people and she sneered, “Today, no matter how many of you come, no one can stop me!”
Soon, the car stopped in front of a three-story villa.
“Are people really in there? Take me in!” Bonnie Lee asked Steven Irwin as she held him in a death grip.
She was a little skeptical, but thinking that he was just a child, there must be no heart, and she was relieved to walk in.
“You’ve done all this, but you just want to double up with that man, really, believe me, my mommy told me, he’s in the room on the left hand side of the first floor. Besides, the back door of this villa leads directly to the highway, so if you escape, don’t come back.” Steven Irwin said with a “sincere” look in his eyes.
