The next day, Beck Moore stayed with Jane Gardner, who did not go to work.
Elena Gonzalez saw Beck Moore going upstairs with her breakfast and didn’t say a word to her; she knew that he wouldn’t change his mind.
He had long since gone off the deep end with Jane Gardner.
“Why didn’t you go to work today?” Kevin Moore was certain that everything last night was a joke told by Beck Moore and Elena Gonzalez, and that he still wanted Beck Moore to go to work at Moore Enterprises and accept the legacy he had built.
“Not what you guys said, going forward, the family business doesn’t depend on me?” Beck Moore back to Kevin Moore as he looks over at Elena Gonzalez.
Elena Gonzalez was really pissed off at him yesterday, she was half right, “Let Jane Gardner come downstairs for dinner, she’s not a prisoner, don’t always lock her in her room, it’s not good for her health either.”
Beck Moore heard Elena Gonzalez say that, he nodded, followed by going upstairs and bringing Jane Gardner down.
Jane Gardner did not sleep much last night, inside her head, all the things that happened on the set.
The atmosphere at the table was awkward. Beck Moore had misunderstood Jane Gardner and now felt guilty about her, and he just wanted to provide her with everything he had.
Jane Gardner bitterly pushed his hand away and she just took the white rice porridge to her mouth.
After breakfast.
Elena Gonzalez sees Beck Moore and Kevin Moore talking about things in the garden, and she walks over to Jane Gardner.
“You know what? Last night, Beck gave up the family business for you.” Elena Gonzalez looks at Jane Gardner with mixed feelings.
After all, Jane Gardner was the girl she had liked so much, the daughter-in-law she was so fond of.
“?” Jane Gardner heard Elena Gonzalez’s words and she looked at her, waiting for her next words.
“Jane Gardner, go away, sneak away and never appear in front of Beck again for the rest of your life and don’t come back to Laguna City. his heart will never be in the family business as long as you are there.”
Elena Gonzalez came to Jane Gardner because she had no choice, she couldn’t really give up Beck Moore.
So, she had to force Jane Gardner out.
“I know it’s not fair to you either, but don’t you love him? Since you don’t have him in your heart, the reason you stay is that you have nowhere else to go. I’ve been told all about your situation Shan York, and if you leave, I can guarantee you a worry-free life for the rest of your lives.”
After Elena Gonzalez finished, she held out a card in her hand to Jane Gardner, “The money on this card is definitely enough for you to survive as long as you don’t mess around.”
Jane Gardner looked down at the card handed to her by Elena Gonzalez, she pulled out a faint smile, she pushed the card back, “Auntie, I see your point, don’t worry, I’ll find a way to leave Beck Moore.
Neither you nor he owes me, I owe you too much, and I’m already grateful that you’ve taken us in these days. I will not take the money.”
Jane Gardner wrote her words on her phone, and she showed them to Elena Gonzalez.
“If you do want to go, Auntie thanks you. But you mustn’t tell Beck that I let you go, you know, he’s so devoted to you that I’m afraid he can’t accept it.”
Elena Gonzalez smiled bitterly as she once again firmly shoved the card into Jane Gardner’s hand.
Jane Gardner was adamant that she didn’t want it either, and finally, she put the card down and turned around to go back to her room.
Shan York’s room.
“When the hell are you going to pay me back? Shan York, you’re hiding, I want to see how long you can hide!” Shan York picked up an unmarked phone.
There was a rude debt collection voice on the other side of the phone.
Shan York had no income at all over the years, but she was a big spender, and soon she lost everything Moses Gardner had left her, and ended up living on loan sharks.
Now with interest rolling in, she couldn’t afford to pay them back, so she had to hide for a day.
Shan York hung up the phone, her forehead covered in sweat.
Anyway, Moore’s house is impossible to stay for a long time, so, before leaving, she has to get something good out of it!
With that in mind, she snuck into Elena Gonzalez’s room while she was out shopping, and snuck her treasures into her pocket.
“Grandma, what are you doing that is wrong? Taking without asking is stealing.” Snowly Gardner was raised abroad but grew up with a Chinese style education.
She was even better at school, only five years old, and already knew many idioms and colloquialisms.
She didn’t know why Shan York brought her to Elena Gonzalez’s room until she saw her stealing something.
“Stealing what stealing! I’m taking! Besides, if I don’t take, how am I going to feed you!” Shan York knocks a chestnut on the head of Snowly Gardner, whom she deliberately brought in as a cover.
“You are not to tell anyone about this, including that bitch Jane Gardner! If you tell anyone, I’ll sell you out! You’ll never see your mother again for the rest of your life!”
Shan York threatened Snowly Gardner as she scanned the room and finally saw a card on Elena Gonzalez’s bed, which she also pocketed.
After Shan York saw that there was nothing else of value to steal, she then pulled Snowly Gardner out.
“Aunt …” Snowly Gardner saw Jane Gardner just coming down the stairs, her eyes panicked, she looked at her carefully, as if she wanted to say something, but was afraid to say it.
Jane Gardner looked at Snowly Gardner and then at Shan York, “How did you get out of your aunt’s room?”
“Auntie, Grandma …” Snowly Gardner tried to tell her, but Shan York yanked her hand.
“Snowly just chased a butterfly and accidentally chased it to her room, I was going to bring her out, wasn’t I, Snowly?” Shan York made up excuses as she got Snowly Gardner to help her lie.
Snowly Gardner bit her lip in aggravation, she had tears in her eyes and just wouldn’t say anything.
Jane Gardner saw her like this and knew Shan York must be lying.
“Snowly, tell your aunt exactly what your grandmother did in her room. Did she steal something?” Jane Gardner converted the words she had written into speech; she was afraid that some of the words Snowly Gardner did not know.
Shan York didn’t expect Jane Gardner to guess what she was thinking, and she grabbed Snowly Gardner in a rage, “Jane Gardner, who do you think I am, Shan York? How could I have done such a thing? Don’t you accuse people!”
Shan York said, hugging Snowly Gardner and walking away.
Jane Gardner frowned and stopped her, “If you didn’t do it, show me your pockets!”
Jane Gardner was about to leave the Moore house, and she didn’t want them to misunderstand her before she left.
“Heh, you say search your body, what are you! Jane Gardner, I didn’t know you were so capable of hanging around with Zachary Irwin while hooking up with Beck Moore, you want every man in the world to be obsessed with you!
Shan York hates Jane Gardner when she thinks that Otis Wilson is in love with Jane Gardner too.
Jane Gardner pretended not to hear anything, she saw Shan York did not cooperate, rushed forward, and tried to go to her pockets themselves.
She caught her and all those treasures in Shan York’s pockets fell to the ground.
“Jane, you can’t tell them about this! I heard it all last night, Beck Moore choose you, do not want Moore Enterprises, you follow her in the future, certainly no good life, we do not go before taking some money, how can we support Snowly?”
Shan York bent down to pick up the jewelry on the floor as she tried to convince Jane Gardner.
Jane Gardner looked at the jewelry Shan York had stolen, and seeing that she had even stolen the card Shan York had given her, she instantly reached for her cell phone to call the police.
Shan York noticed Jane Gardner dialing “110” and she rushed over to take the phone away, “Are you crazy! You’re going to call the police! Fine! If you want to call the police, then you can call the police! But you’ll never see Snowly Gardner again in your life!”
Shan York finished yelling, and she ran out of the Moore house with Snowly Gardner in her arms.
Jane Gardner wondered what Shan York was going to do as she thought about her last words.
She couldn’t imagine that she would even want to harm her own grandson.
She didn’t want anything to happen to Snowly Gardner, and she chased her out.
