“What are you laughing at? Jane Gardner, do you really think Zachary Irwin is going to protect you now?” Alice Cox thought Jane Gardner was laughing at her.
She had held back so much five years ago, and now that she had been “provoked” by her, she instantly became furious.
She pulled the car over and got out and grabbed Jane Gardner.
“Do you know how sorry I was all these years when I thought you were dead? I always thought that if you were still alive, I would show you what I am today!”
“Do you know what my status is now? I am now one of the top four flower girls in the entertainment industry! As long as I fancy the play, I can lift my finger at will, and they are all female number one!”
“Jane Gardner, look at you again? After leaving Zachary Irwin, what are you capable of? Now you are not even worthy of my shoes!”
Alice Cox saw that after all her cursing, Jane Gardner still did not say a word.
She got angry and raised her hand to slap her.
Jane Gardner glared at her angrily, caught her hand, pushed her back hard and just continued to walk her own.
“Jane Gardner, how dare you push me? Who in the entire entertainment industry doesn’t coddle me and spoil me now, how dare you push me!” Alice Cox is usually used to being pampered and taken care of, today she was scorned by Jane Gardner, she thought of her old grudge with Jane Gardner and got up to push Jane Gardner too.
Jane Gardner stumbled unsteadily, and she was pushed to the ground by Alice Cox.
She mumbled a grunt, but still didn’t say a word.
Alice Cox looked down at Jane Gardner, who was in a terrible state, and she smiled coldly.
“Jane Gardner, what? Mute? You can’t even speak after five years? Look at you now, and remember how proud you used to be, I really feel ashamed for you! Since you’ve become a mole, you should stay in your sewer and never let me see you again!”
Alice Cox had enough of bullying, and when Jane Gardner stopped arguing and cursing, she had no more energy and turned around to get into her limousine.
“You’re really too much! Why do you bully the disabled! Jane, are you okay?” Steeply, Bonnie Lee passed by, she saw Jane Gardner being bullied, she was angry and helped Jane Gardner up, and pointed a piece of accusation at Alice Cox.
Alice Cox heard her words and she turned around.
Looking at Jane Gardner’s eyes tinged with laughter, “You are disabled? So, you really can’t talk, Jane Gardner, I heard right, once the best singer competition winner, but became mute? Hahahaha, hahahahaha …”
Alice Cox laughed so hard that tears came out of her eyes, she really didn’t expect that Jane Gardner had lost even her proudest and most proud voice.
“Best singer contest winner? So you used to be a singer?” Bonnie Lee looked at Jane Gardner in amazement, thinking back to the time when they met, she did love to listen to songs, and her eyes widened in disbelief.
“She is not only a singer, but also an original singer, the songs she wrote, have won the golden bell award, but those are all in the past, now Jane Gardner, but a mute who can’t even speak!” Alice Cox felt lucky in the past two days.
First, she met Zachary Irwin again, and then she met Jane Gardner who had fallen on hard times.
She felt that the anger that had been weighing on her heart was out.
In the future, she will no longer have regrets, she no longer have to think of the past, she will have low self-esteem.
Bonnie Lee watched Alice Cox get into her car and leave, her eyes obscurely staring at Jane Gardner, and then helped her to sit on the side of the road and rest.
“You and her are enemies? That woman just now looked like she hated you!” Bonnie Lee had a crush on Jane Gardner when she was at school, and she always felt comfortable and natural with Jane Gardner, so she asked one more question.
“Probably. I think she’s always kind of hated me.” Jane Gardner said back bitterly, she just wanted to get back to the villa quickly now.
“How is your hand? It looks badly injured. I remember your house is not in this area, and your company is far away from here, how come you are here?” Bonnie Lee is a volunteer at the school for the disabled. She comes from a privileged family, but she doesn’t have a bit of a Missy’s frame, and is naive and kind.
At first glance, she knew she lived in a happy home with full parents.
“My hand is fine, I have things to do now, I’ll go first.” Jane Gardner looked at the back of her hand as it bruised up and she pulled it back before getting up to leave.
“Where are you going? Let me walk you there.” Bonnie Lee looked at Jane Gardner, always with an inexplicable sense of pity, and she really wanted to help her.
“Thanks, but I can’t take the car, I really have to go.” Jane Gardner smiled at her and after explaining, she trotted a little ways, then took out her navigation and kept going.
Bonnie Lee looked at Jane Gardner’s fading back, and she always felt bad in her heart, but she knew that Jane Gardner had high self-esteem, and what she gave her material things, she would definitely not want.
And there was nothing she could do to help in any way other than materially.
She then withdrew her eyes and turned to leave.
“Why do you come so slowly! Don’t you know that the sun is killing people! Next time, I won’t wait for you!” Bonnie Lee walked up quickly, only to see another girl with a delicate face greeting her, all impatience on her face.
“Okay, sister, I won’t make you wait next time, by the way, is daddy and mommy here?” Bonnie Lee knew that her sister was bad-tempered, but in her heart she loved her, and she took her hand and pampered her as she walked with her towards the six-star hotel ahead.
Jane Gardner’s side.
It took her eight hours to finally walk to Longwan.
She looked at the luxurious and noble beach house and knew that Steven Irwin was waiting for her at home at the moment.
But her legs were weak and she tried to lift them, but she couldn’t.
“What? It took you so long to walk over here? Now that you’re here, what are you pretending to be? Are you sure you don’t want to go in!” Zachary Irwin’s cold voice rang out behind her without a trace of emotion.
Jane Gardner heard his voice and unconsciously remembered Alice Cox’s words, she sarcastically hooked her lips and typed, “Mark your words, we’ll settle our own business, leave the kids out of it!”
Zachary Irwin scanned the words on Jane Gardner’s phone, and he yanked Jane Gardner up, nose to nose, “Don’t act like you love him! What have you given him in the last five years? Jane Gardner, our father and son could have done without you, and they can do the same without you!”
