“Miss Gardner, are we going back to Maravilla now?” Rudolf Bartley asked.
“Well, back, back.” Jane Gardner was still laughing.
In the evening, Zachary Irwin came back on time for dinner, and Jane Gardner, in gratitude for sending Rudolf Bartley to his side, took off his shoes and brought him his coat, all with a flattering smile on her face.
Zachary Irwin puzzled.
Nanny Finn saw the couple’s little gesture, smiled and told him everything.
“You got locked in the bathroom?” Zachary Irwin’s brow furrowed. He knew the showbiz world was complicated, but he didn’t understand how Jane Gardner was always being set up!
“Do you know who did it? Did they do anything else to you besides lock you up?” Zachary Irwin asked the question in one breath, compared to Jane Gardner’s calmness, he is anxious.
“Anyway, it’s just a few people, I don’t know exactly who they are. However, in the future, as long as I have Rudolf Bartley by my side, I am not afraid of anything.” Jane Gardner’s meaning was shallow and simple.
Zachary Irwin heard it in his ears, but it had a different flavor.
In particular, Jane Gardner had been looking at Rudolf Bartley all evening with a bit of adoration in her eyes.
Zachary Irwin walked over and stopped Jane Gardner from continuing to stare at Rudolf Bartley.
“With him by your side, you’re not afraid of anything? So what you’re saying is that you’re scared with me by your side?” Zachary Irwin was offended, very offended.
Didn’t he do more for her than a Rudolf Bartley?
After all he’s done for her, how come he doesn’t see her admiring himself?
Zachary Irwin was unbalanced, very unbalanced.
“Mr. Irwin, are you jealous?” Jane Gardner asked suspiciously as she put away her smiling face.
Zachary Irwin looked at Jane Gardner who had a serious face and was instantly choked.
“I just wouldn’t be jealous!” Zachary Irwin also realized that he had actually argued with Rudolf Bartley and his face darkened.
Turning around, she too stepped aside.
Didn’t she love looking at Rudolf Bartley?
He let her see enough!
Jane Gardner saw Zachary Irwin walk away, which slowly put away all her expression.
She did have fun after seeing what Rudolf Bartley could do.
This is the only thing that has happened to her in the last three years that has put her mind at ease.
She grew up without a loving father and mother, always insecure, and after she married into the Irwin family, she was even more cautious and respectful to anyone.
She didn’t dare to cross the line because no one could protect her.
But the future is different.
In the evening, Jane Gardner had just gotten out of the shower when Zachary Irwin came back into the room at some point.
His back was to himself, and his breathing sounded like he was asleep.
Jane Gardner thought of the cake and fruit he had delivered to the set today, so she lightened her steps and tried to let him sleep.
She lifted the covers and prepared to go carefully.
But before she could lie down, her whole body was embraced by Zachary Irwin.
The tips of their noses touched and their eyes met.
Breaths intertwined.
“I’m a little tired today.” Jane Gardner squeezed Zachary Irwin’s hand, her eyes glancing in the direction of the window.
She found that her resolve, which she had so easily made earlier, had wavered a bit in the last few days.
She could not continue to allow herself to be capricious; it was time to break off, and in the end it was herself who suffered.
“Tired? Don’t you want to get a divorce? Let me see how far you can endure for a divorce?” Zachary Irwin wrenched Jane Gardner’s face and made her look directly into his eyes.
Last night, he had pressed the issue numerous times, but time and again she had insisted that she didn’t love him.
But just when he’d believed it, she’d called her name unconsciously.
He had to find out if that time was an accident.
It was the same night as yesterday.
Jane Gardner’s throat was muffled from the torture.
“Jane Gardner, I’m asking you again, do you still love me or not?” Zachary Irwin, sweating profusely, asked for the seventh time.
“No love no love I don’t love you anymore! No matter how many times you ask, that’s the only answer I have!” Jane Gardner clutched the sheet as if to Zachary Irwin and as if to herself.
She bit her lip to death and let the tears of pain blur her eyes.
Zachary Irwin looked at the tear-soaked sheets, got up, got out of bed, slammed the door and left the bedroom.
That night, he never came back.
Jane Gardner was tired, but she couldn’t sleep.
The pain that Zachary Irwin had caused her was fading.
But the effect he had on her life would never go away, no matter how long it passed.
“Young lady, the young master told me to tell you that he has gone to the hospital, and when you wake up, go to the hospital and join him.”
The next day.
Nanny Finn met Jane Gardner downstairs and relayed Zachary Irwin’s words to her.
Jane Gardner heard Nanny Finn’s words and then remembered that she had promised Ottilia Amos yesterday that she would go for a physical exam.
So sure it was going to be IUI or IVF.
The two sound similar, but there are differences.
First of all, artificial insemination is usually for the male side of the problem, and good male sperm is put into the mother-to-be for the purpose of conception.
IVF, on the other hand, is for women who have health problems that prevent them from conceiving naturally, and require the sperm and eggs of both to be removed and placed in a test tube, and then the embryos are placed in the mother’s body after fertilization.
There is no difference between the two, but there is.
Exactly how they are selected depends on the couple’s situation accordingly.
By the time Jane Gardner arrived at the hospital, Zachary Irwin’s tests seemed to be all done.
He saw her coming and had a cold face, as if someone owed him a few billion dollars.
Jane Gardner did not want to run into a wall and did not initiate a conversation with him.
Once again, the two had zero communication throughout.
“Mr. Irwin, Miss Gardner, the full test results will be out in three days, and I will finalize the specific plan according to your health conditions then. During the preparation period, Mr. Irwin please stop smoking and drinking and Miss Gardner should also keep her mood happy.”
Noting that the two couples were not in a good relationship, the doctor gave pertinent advice before leaving.
“Thanks a lot, doctor.” Jane Gardner, inexplicably embarrassed, nodded to the doctor.
Zachary Irwin still looked like he owed everyone money.
They exited the hospital and Jane Gardner went straight to the recording studio.
By the time she arrived, Mary Gardner had already practiced her part.
Kailee Cyrus was pouring water next to her and her eyes sank when she saw Jane Gardner coming over in high spirits.
Jane Gardner fixed her eyes on both Mary Gardner and Kailee Cyrus, wondering if they had teamed up to lock themselves up yesterday.
But in the end, nothing could be seen.
“Jane Gardner, you’re not even in the first line yet, and you’re playing the first line’s big name? Every day you come so late, are you ashamed of yourself!” Mary Gardner glanced at Jane Gardner and gave a cold snort.
Jane Gardner pretended not to hear anything and went into the recording studio.
She found that the longer she sang, the more she enjoyed singing.
When she sang, she was totally engaged.
The world of music is so pure and clean.
It was as if it could wash away all the dust and dirt in the world.
Jane Gardner finished her part, took off her headphones, and the staff outside all looked at her in amazement.
After that, everyone applauded, and all came to praise Jane Gardner’s good singing.
