Interrupted Attempt

His warm breath on the back of her ear. His soft kisses on her shoulder. His skin rubbing against hers. She had never been this close to anyone in her life, and it felt natural to be that intimate with him.
She let him undress her down to her underwear. He took off his shirt and they laid down on his bed tangled in a kiss. Her legs around him, his palms firmly pulling her against him.
She could feel him getting hard under his blue jeans, their breaths increasingly heavier. She pulled away and saw his eyes were hazy from wanting it to go on.
She caressed his stomach up to his chest, feeling his firmness as he sighed. He pulled down her strap with his teeth and engulfed her breast in his mouth. She perked up in a soft moan. She wanted more.
In the months they’ve been together, they’ve explored each other’s body in so many ways. He wasn’t a stranger anymore, he wasn’t a friend anymore, he was a guy who knows her body and who could make her body feels the way no one had ever made it feel.
She held him in her gaze and reached into his pants. He was the first guy she had ever touched. She was learning the beauty of a male body and how it reacted to her. She stroked him gently.
He looked deep into her eyes and saw her plead. “Do you want to do this?” he asked.
She took a deep nervous breath and nodded. He smiled. He enveloped her in a kiss and let her unzip his jeans. They were going to do this. The passion had built up inside them for months and it multiplied in the last few days when they thought they had broken up. It was time to finally know how it feels like to be together.
All that collapsed by a knock on the door.
“No,” he protested in a whisper. He buried his face in her neck.
They could hear footsteps outside the bedroom, there was more than one person.
“Lee … can we continue last night’s game?” his brother’s voice, Timothy, called out.
“God … not right now …” he said it into Hazel’s ear.
“Lee? I know you’re in there,” he persisted.
Hazel giggled, she cupped his face in her hands. He was not in shape for a play with his brother.
“Is Hazel still here? Sophie wants to play Barbie house and tea party?” Timmy added. Followed with a little girl’s giggle.
Lee covered his face with both hands, it was excruciating to be interrupted at a very bad time. He laid on his back and sighed, “Sure … I’ll be right out … will you give me a minute?” he shouted.
Hazel was halfway getting dressed. Lee had never rejected his sister or his brother when they asked him to play with them. He was always lovingly attended to their needs. That was one of the reasons why she loved him so much.
He was organizing his breath as she put his shirt on him and kissed him. “We’ll finish it another time,” she said teasingly.
He grabbed the back of her neck and kissed her harder, “Promise?”
She nodded with a smile.
They had a playroom in the house. A room designated solely for the purpose of the children’s playing and for them to bond. Toys, dollhouses, a TV set for gaming, a small dining table for tea party. Lee’s parents didn’t allow the kids to have their own TV in their bedrooms because they believe that would robbed them of their quality family time.
Although Lee was already too old to be playing, he babysat his step brother and sister almost everyday while his parents were at work and play with them in the playroom.
Hazel’s mind was still left in Lee’s bedroom. She could still smell his cologne evaporating from his sweat. Her soft spoken gentle boyfriend telling her how much he missed her. She was missing him even when they were in the same room.
She sighed at the thought of his warm breath on her breast and how his tongue played with her nipples and sent shivers down her spine. Then her mind shifted to how sexy he was when he dances, how cool and smooth he was on stage.
It made her stomach churn. How many other girls would look at him and feels exactly the way she feels. And one day he will be doing the same thing to other girls what he’d been doing with her.
She can’t let her mind roamed there. It wasn’t helping. She held his hand and he squeezed it. At least in that moment he was still hers to hold. She leaned on his shoulder and kissed his cheek. “I love you,” she whispered.
He turned to her and landed a soft kiss on her lips.
Sophie giggled, “Lee and Hazel sitting on the floor K. I. S. S. I. N. G”
They realized they weren’t suppose to do that in front of his sister. Timmy pretended not to notice. But these were the days they have left. There will be no other time to be this close together. At least for the next two years. And by then, who knows how things will change.
