Sandra didn’t know what to say, but looking at Clinton unintentionally.
He looked at her coldly and sneered, ‘aren’t you satisfied now!”
Sandra felt wronged suddenly. Satisfied? For what? She had no idea what happened from the beginning to the end. Jessi blamed her, and now Clinton blamed her too. Did it mean even if her presence was completely coincident, it was still regarded as her plot?”
‘I didn’t do anything!” Sandra didn’t want to be mistaken by Clinton. She was almost crying and hoped Clinton could believe her.
Actually, Clinton didn’t mean anything with what he said, it was just a reflex out of years of mocking her before. The moment the words came out of his mouth, he was shocked too, but it was too late to get them back.
He cast a glimpse at Sandra lightly and carried Jessi to go outside, cursing slightly.
Sandra asked herself why she was crying always whenever she saw him, while looking at them disappearing. Ripples were spreading in her heart again after long time of tranquility.
The pain at the arm put her into the reality while she was moving it. The huge pain made her sweat.
Her clothes were covered with blood, which looked like she had a bad car accident, horrifying.
When Jimmy finalized all the procedure and saw her, he rushed her rapidly and asked with trembling voice, ‘you, what happened to you. Don’t frighten me.”
Sandra noticed his worry and felt better and said, ‘I am okay, just some bruises.”
‘How can bruises lead to so much blood?” He stared at her wound and carried her without more word, looking for doctors for emergency treatment.
‘Sandra, I was away just for a second, and you hurt yourself like this!” The unexplainable anger caught him. He was angry at her too, that she didn’t know how to take care of herself. But he was angrier at himself for didn’t keep her around him aways.
‘It doesn’t matter, just some small cuts.” She looked pale out of blood loss, but she tried still to put on a tiny smile on her mouth, comforting him.
Comparing to brain cancer, these wounds were nothing. She could accept cancer, let alone to say some small cuts.
‘Was it Clinton?’
The name he uttered frightened her, which resulted in a sharp pain on her arm. The doctor complained ‘Don’t move!”
Her look told everything. Jimmy knew clearly it must have been Clinton who caused all these.
The moment he came back after finalizing the procedures, the back he saw reminded him of Clinton. However, he couldn’t be sure. But her reaction assured him that his guess was right.
He stood up immediately and to go outside, ‘I will talk to him!”
‘Jimmy!” Sandra snared his name fiercely. She was sure that she would follow him instantly if he left the room.
Jimmy stopped for a second and walked out determinedly in a second.
Sandra followed him regardless of the painful wound or the doctor. She stopped in front of him.
Jimmy said ‘Go back.” The bleeding wound in her arm was too scary to look at.
‘You promised me to not have anything to do with him.” She said to him, with expectation.
‘Sandra, how silly you are to help him again and again? Does he know anything you did for him? No, he doesn’t. He must be taught a lesson, otherwise he would bully you again!” It was the first time that he tried to persuade her whole-heartedly. He hoped that she could forget Clinton completely, instead of being a fool.
Sandra shook her head, said determined as before, ‘Jimmy, you know I don’t have much time. The proudest think I did is protecting Clinton. No matter how hard he hurt me, I will take with pleasure. I don’t want to hear anything bad about him. I have just one request for you, please don’t bother him anymore.”
Jimmy looked at her deeply. Every time when he was about to teach him a lesson, Sandra could always stop him one way or another.
‘Back for medical treatment.” Jimmy held her by the other arm and walked back.
Sandra relaxed and looked at him deeply.
