Liam frowns seeing Andrew, he immediately walks towards him and grabs him by the collar.
“What are you doing here bastard!” Liam asked him cursing at him, Andrew chuckles lightly making Liam more angry.
“Did you just laugh?”Liam scoffs in disbelief before shooting him a dead glare.
“Calm down Liam Scott, I’m not here to fight okay”Andrew uttered, releasing his collar from Liam’s grip.
Andrew paced around him, Liam watched his every move immensely. Everyone was shivering wondering what was gonna happen, Elliot was waiting patiently to see if he would have to punch someone.
“I came here to see how Amelia was doing”Andrew blurted out, Liam was more angry on hearing he came to meet Amelia.
“What the fuck do you want from her?” Liam questions highly irritated by Andrew’s presence.
“Well I think that is between me and Amelia don’t you think?”Andrew smirks seeing how angry Liam was.
“What do you want from her?” Liam repeats with a commanding tone.
Claudia POV
Gosh I can’t watch this, how can Liam be fighting over that shitty girl Amelia. I hope she just dies so there can be peace cause I’m fucking tired already.
Claudia frowns seeing them argue about Amelia, Elliot notices Claudia frowned face from his side eyes.
He walked towards her and grabbed her hand, Claudia flinched a little at Elliot’s touch. She turned to see Elliot holding her hand and frowning.
“What do you want, let go of me”Claudia tries yanking her hand away from his grip, but wasn’t able to as Elliot held her hand tight.
Didn’t you hear me? I said let go of my hand!”Claudia yelled, attention was now on them.
“What’s wrong Elliot?” Liam questions him wondering why he was holding Claudia’s hand.
“Oh nothing dude”Elliot assures him, his gaze felt back at Claudia who was staring at him like he was a maniac.
“You will follow me outside so we can talk, or if you wanna make a scene in front of everybody I will gladly help you out”Elliot whispers in Claudia’s ear.
Claudia gasps covering her mouth, she looks up to see him smirking. She immediately dragged him along with her out of the office leaving everyone stunned.
“What’s wrong with those two?”Laila scoffs, crossing her arms.
Liam wondered why Elliot took Claudia outside but he shook it off as he knew Elliot is still gonna tell him what happened.
“Amelia isn’t here , so you can leave”Liam tells Andrew who was busy playing with a pen on Nina’s desk.
“Where is she then?”Andrew curiously asked Liam.
“Why should I tell you that” Liam scoffs glaring at him.
“Well that fat mouth over there said she was in a hospital is it true?”Andrew pointed out referring to Laila.
“Hey!”Laila yelled, scoffing in the middle.
“Yes she is in the hospital fighting for her life, all because of you” Liam uttered, poking his chest in between as Andrew stumbled backwards.
“I didn’t do anything”Andrew frowns, he wanted to expose Amelia not to have her land in hospital.
Well she got hit by a fucking truck!” Liam yelled, Everyone gasps including Andrew on hearing Liam’s words.
“What do you mean?”Andrew worriedly asked, it was evident from the way his eyes were a bit gloomy that he cared.
“She got hit by a truck, she is in the damn hospital fighting for her life. If only you hadn’t come back into her life none of this would have happened!” Liam barks at him, he hates the fact that he is Andrew Amelia and has always been calling him.
He hated every single day she referred to him as Andrew now. He couldn’t believe that the Andrew she was talking about was this fool standing in front of him now.
“I just wanted to expose her for she truly is, I never meant for something like this to happen”Andrew admits sniffing a little.
“Well it is too late, cause she was hit by a truck and now she is in the hospital. I suggest leaving my company now before I do something I might regret later!” Liam threatens him before pushing him out of his way.
Andrew breathed out, he couldn’t believe Amelia was in the hospital. He remembered all the times they spent together and wished he could rewind time and change everything from what happened the day she caught him cheating.
Flashback
Amelia was feeling uneasy about Andrew sending her by herself to go get groceries alone. She was wondering why he didn’t want to follow her and was adamant she left.
She entered the supermarket and went to the grocery center. She got a lot of groceries and headed to the cashier to pay.
“That’s all”Amelia replied to the cashier who asked if she needed anything else.
“Uhm by any chance are you single?”The cashier asked Amelia.
She didn’t really find his question inappropriate, he just wanted to know about her marital status which she will gladly tell him.
“I’m taken, I have a boyfriend,”Amelia replied with a bright smile.
“Oh he must be a very lucky guy to have such a beautiful girlfriend like you”The cashier complimented her, Amelia giggles at his sweet words.
“That will be 60$”The cashier announced.
Amelia paid for the groceries and thanked the cashier before leaving. She was happy to go back home and meet Andrew cause she loved being with him.
She passes a couple that were smooching each other, She giggles before walking faster.
She was so happy with Andrew and never felt like she needed anyone else in her life except for Andrew.
She remembered when she was still in the orphanage, She saw Andrew with his mother the first day and she immediately liked him even though there were still kids back then.
Andrew ran towards her direction, Amelia immediately dust off the sand on her clothes when she saw Andrew approaching her.
“Hey here”He called out for her, handing her a toy.
Amelia smiled at him before collecting the toy. Andrew glares at her wondering why she was so happy receiving his old toy.
“That’s one of my old toys, so no need to get too excited,”Andrew admits, crossing his hands.
“Well I don’t have any toy, so this is actually my first toy”Amelia confessed, waving the toy up in the air with happiness.
Andrew’s mouth slightly opened on hearing her words, he never knew people were suffering this much and he always throws tantrums when he doesn’t get the latest toys but she is happy with his old raggedy toy.
“I promise to bring you new okay”Andrew promised her ruffling her hair a bit.
A wide smile appeared across her lips, She was smiling like an idiot because of Andrew’s promise.
“Promise”Amelia pulled out her pinky for him.
“Promise”He repeats, interlocking their pinkies.
Andrew didn’t break his promise as he had come to bring her new toys every month. They started becoming friends and their friendship grew along with them.
They started developing feelings for each other, Andrew asked Amelia to be his girlfriend and she accepted.
He persuaded her to come live with him as he stayed alone , he wanted her to leave the orphanage as there was no need for her to be there again and she agreed and started leaving with him.
Amelia smiled at her thoughts before heading home. She quickly stopped a cab. She was so excited to see Andrew’s handsome face and didn’t want him to wait too long for her.
When Amelia got home, She saw clothes on the living room which made her confused on who’s there belonged to.
“Andrew!”Amelia called out for Andrew but got no response which made her a bit worried if he was okay.
She immediately ran outside, She heard noise coming from their bedroom and reached for the door knob.
She got the biggest surprise when she opened the door revealing Andrew naked and a girl underneath him, they were both moaning as they were having sex.
Amelia didn’t even know how to react, She covered her mouth and stumbled hitting the door.
They heard the sound and turned to see Amelia standing there staring at them with her eyes wide open.
“Shit Amelia”Andrew flinched seeing Amelia, He quickly got off the girl who was glaring at Amelia.
“Why?” Amelia finally spoke out as hot tears dropped from her eyes.
“Don’t you understand little girl, he needed someone to pleasure him and since you were not able to do that he called me”The girl blurted out caressing Andrew’s shoulder.
Andrew pushed her off him and quickly went to meet Amelia. He wanted to hold her hand but she yanked it away immediately before looking at him with her teary eyes.
“You betrayed me” Amelia cried out covering her mouth, her cries were muffled by her palm covering her mouth.
“I can explain please,”Andrew pleaded with her.
“We are over, I fucking hate you Andrew!” Amelia yelled before running away from the house.
Andrew tried to chase after her but the girl behind him held his hand preventing him from going.
“She is already gone, no need to chase after her, let’s just continue what we were doing”She tells him, caressing his body gently.
Andrew sighs before pulling the girl towards him and kissing her hard.
End of flashback.
Andrew immediately left the office, Everyone stared at each other wondering what was going on in the office.
“Why is so much happening like the world is about to end ?”Laila scoffs before going to her desk.
“Guys we have to go see Amelia in the hospital later”Miss Cynthia told them.
“Yes”They all agreed in unison.
Claudia stopped Elliot in the hallway, she looked behind her wondering if anyone was following them.
She breathed out a sigh of relief before turning to look at Elliot whose gaze was already on her.
“What the hell do you huh?”Claudia snaps at him feeling irritated by him.
“Tell me the truth Claudia, are you behind Amelia’s accident?”Elliot asked, watching her reaction immensely.
“What?”Claudia choked on her word, she couldn’t believe he was asking her this which means he is suspecting her.
“Answer me Claudia, did you hired those men to run over Amelia with a truck, and please don’t tell me you are behind that cleaners death too just to get away with your cheap schemes”Elliot said in between his teeth pulling her by her arm, Claudia Yelp by his strong grip on her arm.
“Let go of me, you are hurting me”Claudia cries out trying to free her arm from his grip.
“Oh I’m hurting you”Elliot scoffs, She kept her gaze down not daring to look up at him.
“Do you have any fucking idea on how Amelia is hurting in that hospital, and the worst of it you tried to kill her again I’m I right?!” Elliot yelled, tightening his grip on her arm.
Claudia POV
Oh goodness what have I gotten myself into, I knew I should have just killed him when I had the chance too. But wait he isn’t sure if it was me or not he is just trying to make me spill out the truth myself.
Claudia stared at Elliot with a piercing look, she scoffs before yanking her arm away from his grip.
“Who do you think you are huh? You think you can just call me outside to blame me for what I didn’t do”Claudia barks at him, trying to sound confident.
“Are you for reals, So you are trying to tell me it wasn’t you dressed up in the nurse outfit or the one with the scarf?”Elliot chuckles, staring at her in disbelief, he wondered how a person could be this corny.
“I’m not the one, okay!”Claudia yelled.
“You know yelling isn’t going to prove your innocence”Elliot pointed out earning a glare from him.
“I don’t need to prove anything okay, if you don’t believe me I don’t fucking care”Claudia admits, crossing her arms.
Claudia POV
Who the fuck does he thinks he is to question me, I wished I had killed him a long time ago he wouldn’t have been hear questioning me. Wait is he because he is a detective that why could Liam have asked him to question me.
“Why are you so silent Miss Claudia?”Elliot smirks, seeing how quiet she was, which means she was hiding something from him.
“You know you can just confess your crimes and your punishment will be lesser” Elliot advised her.
“What the fuck”Claudia scoffs rolling her eyes.
Elliot POV
I know she is trying to sound confident, but I can see how nervous she is with the way her face is sweating and the way she is shivering when answering my question.
“I know you think you are a great detective and think you can catch every guilty person, but sorry to burst your bubble this time cause you failed in catching the real culprit cause I’m innocent”Claudia uttered while looking him in the eye to avoid looking suspicious or nervous.
“Oh really?”Elliot smirks.
“Yes,”Claudia rolled her eyes.
“By the way, can you tell me how you know I’m a detective?” Elliot questioned her, Claudia froze and she didn’t know what to say.
