Liam woke up very early in the morning as he was finding trouble sleeping all night.
He kept thinking why anyone would want to kill Amelia, he wondered if it was an enemy of hers or his but when he already concluded that it is somehow connected to him.
He stood up and went to take his bath leaving Amelia in the bath still sleeping soundly. Few minutes later, Liam came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his torso before going to dress up.
Amelia stretched her hand a little before blinking her eyes before opening them. She saw Liam already dressed up and immediately sat up in the bed.
“Baby why didn’t you wake me up?”Amelia questions Liam, rubbing her eyes a little.
“I didn’t want to disturb your sleep,”Liam replies, putting on his wristwatch.
“Oh I will go get ready quick”Amelia chirped out and stood up.
“No need teddy, you are staying home for the day okay”He tells her sitting her back down on the bed.
“But why?”She asked, a bit confused.
“I can’t let you go out , after you were almost killed yesterday”Liam reminds her before grabbing his car keys on the counter beside the bed.
“Bullshit, I wanna go to work”Amelia rolled her eyes while standing.
“Don’t be stubborn, okay teddy, I already said you are staying home”Liam groans.
“But I don’t wanna stay alone, I will be bored”Amelia whines.
“And what if I get attacked at home too?”She added, making Liam sigh.
“Guards are surrounded all over the house, there is no way any outsider will be able to come in”Liam assures her.
“What the hell don’t tell me you went to hire bodyguards because of what happened yesterday”Amelia scoffs.
“I won’t tell you then”Liam grins.
Amelia immediately ran to the balcony in the room as Liam followed her from behind wondering what she was up too.
She looked down at the building and saw a lot of guards down with four chained Rottweilers making her gasp. She immediately turned to look at Liam who was looking at the sky trying to avoid eye contact with her.
“You even brought dogs,”Amelia uttered a little astonished.
“Teddy I just want you to be saved”Liam justifies his actions.
“How are these gonna keep me safe?”Amelia frowns, referring to the bodyguards and dangerous dogs down.
“It will love”He tried hugging her but she shifted backwards.
“Don’t come close to me”She warns, pointing her middle finger at him.
Liam sighs ruffling his hair a bit before going inside the room. Amelia frowns before following him behind.
“I will be off, I have some things to do”He tells her as he was about to leave but she held his hand making him halt at his tracks.
“What?” Liam asked, turning towards her direction.
“I will be bored all alone,”Amelia calmly tells him.
Liam pulled her for a hug, the both of them stayed in that position for a while until Liam pulled away holding her shoulders.
“I won’t take long okay”He assures her, earning a nod from her before kissing her forehead.
Liam smiles now that he got her approval and was about to leave when Amelia’s questions made him stop.
“If you are not going to the office, when are you going then?”She suddenly questions making Liam gulp.
“I’m going to check on my car company”Liam lied before opening the door not waiting to hear her response.
“Oh okay”Amelia mutters even though he was already gone.
Liam went to the police station to ask the man that tried to kill Amelia questions, as the police men already informed him that he is ready to talk after hours of torture.
On getting there Liam stopped at the station and was about to go in when he suddenly stopped. He felt like he was being followed as he slowly turned back but saw no one there.
“I must be hallucinating,”Liam mutters before entering the station.
“Oh gosh I’m in deep trouble”Claudia who was hiding behind a car panicked on seeing Liam enter the station.
“I have to fix this mess”She pulled out her phone and dialled a number.
“Hello I need you to come to the station now, I need you to silence someone”Claudia smirks.
Amelia kept on wandering in the whole house feeling bored cause there was nothing to do or anyone to talk with.
Amelia POV
I’m so bored, I tried going outside but was too scared because of those dogs. I could have sworn I saw one of those dogs wink at me and it creeped the shit out of me.
“I think I will just watch a movie,”Amelia said out loud before going to the theatre room.

“Who fucking hired you?!”Liam yells at the man who was already covered with blood and bruises.
“No one sent me”He weakly answers.
“So you are trying to tell me you just wanted to kill her?”Liam scoffs, not believing his lies.
“Yes”The man mutters, making Liam roll his eyes.
“You don’t wanna talk right?”Liam sneered before grabbing him by the collar and punching the hell outta of him.
“Calm down Mr Scott”A police officer held Liam’s shoulder trying to calm him down.
Liam groans before letting go of the man’s collar.
“I need answers, I wanna know who dares to try and harm what is mine!”Liam growls.
“We will make sure to make him speak”The police officer assures Liam.
“Take him away”The police officer commands as two wardens drag the man along with them.
“Keep me updated when he speaks!”Liam demands before leaving the station.

It was 2:30pm in the afternoon and Amelia was wondering where Liam was as she couldn’t stop thinking about Claudia and him together.
“Where the hell could he be..?”Amelia’s questions were cut off when she turned to see Liam and one man standing in front of her.
“Who is this?”Amelia immediately asked, referring to the ripped huge man standing beside him with no expression on his face.
“This is Gunter”Liam introduces the man earning a growl as response from the man making Amelia flinch a little.
“Calm down teddy”Liam chuckles slightly.
“Why…is…he here?”Amelia whispers to Liam while giving Gunter a nervous smile.
“He is here to turn a weakling to a fighting machine”Liam smirks while looking at Amelia.
“Which weakling?”Amelia asked while looking around oblivion to what they meant.
Liam and Gunter chuckles filled the room as they glanced at each other before looking at Amelia who was already scared and wondered if they were alright.

“Harder!”Gunter’s loud voice yelled as Amelia punched on the bean bag with all her strength.
“That was weak”Liam remarks from behind, earning a glare from a sweaty Amelia.
“Again!”Gunter commands, making her groan and shoot Liam a dead glare before punching on the bean bag hard while yelling.

“Gosh I can’t believe Amelia was attacked”Nina gasps in disbelief.
“Yep, I heard she was attacked by a man with a knife”Laila explains.
“Hope she wasn’t hurt”Nina worriedly mutters.
“Nah just a few scratches, cause our cool boss came in time to save her”Laila explains like she was at the scene when it happened.
“How come you know everything that happens in this office?”Mike asked from behind.
“That’s because I’m this office news reporter, nothing can ever be hidden under me”Laila tells them as Claudia comes in.
“I can even smell a guilty rat”Laila blurted out while glaring at Claudia who was pacing around nervous.
Claudia turns to see everyone looking at her suspiciously and frowns at their judging eyes.
“What?”She asked.
“Where were you yesterday evening?”Laila suddenly questions her like she was doing an interrogation on her.
“None of your business!”Claudia snaps at her.
“What’s getting you all worked up, chill okay”Mike tells Claudia.
“She is getting worked up because she was with there when Amelia got attacked”Laila blurted out, making everyone including Claudia gasp.

“Aish I’m so tired”Amelia collapses to the floor breathing heavily.
Gunter walked towards Liam and bowed a little before leaving. Liam smirks seeing Amelia on the floor before walking towards her direction.
“That was some nice training session to watch” Liam comments earning a glare from her.
“Maybe fun for you, but not me,”Amelia admits, still panting on the floor a little.
Liam squatted down to her level and sighs before looking at her.
“You need to learn how to fight in order to defend yourself from anybody,”Liam tells her as she sits up looking at him.
“I’m fine, I don’t need all this”Amelia scoffs, crossing her arms.
“You will thank me later”Liam stood up and turned to leave.
“How about I thank you now”Amelia blurted out, making Liam halt at his tracks.
“Huh?”He turned to look at her, Amelia stood up before walking towards him.
“How about I thank you now?”She repeats, making him raise his eyebrows confused.
“What are you trying to say?”Liam firmly asked her.
“I’m saying I challenge you to a fight, if I win I get to stop doing this”Amelia announced.
Liam looked at her with disbelief as his laughter filled the room making Amelia frown.
“Wait you can’t be serious teddy” Liam utters between laughs.
“Yeah I am , what’s so funny?”Amelia frowns.
“Nothing, but what if you lose”Liam smirks, making her gulp.
“Then I will continue training,”She tells him.
“Nah that is too plain, let’s make it more spicy”Liam tells her, making her confused.
“How?”Amelia gulps, not prepared to hear what he had in mind.
“When I win, you will have to fulfil three wishes of mine”Liam confidently tells her, making her scoff.

“I won’t go easy on you teddy”Liam tells her.
“Neither would I”Amelia states before positioning into a fighting formation as Liam stares at her weirdly.
“Are we doing this or not?”Amelia frowns, ushering for Liam to attack her.
She screams before running to attack Liam, She was about to reach Liam when he pushed her forehead stopping her from coming closer.
“I’m not gonna fight you now teddy, that will be cheating due to how weak you are now”Liam stated before pushing her , She fell to the ground on her butt yelping in pain.
Liam squatted down to her level, He pushed her hair to the back caressing her cheek a little. Amelia pouts slapping his hand away.
“You are so cute”Liam compliments her flawless beautiful face.
“Don’t touch me”She warns him, gazing down.
“I don’t need anyone’s permission to touch what’s mine”Liam firmly uttered as Amelia looked up to meet his burning gaze on her.
“What?”Amelia gulps.
“Nothing”Liam stood up as Amelia blinked confused.
“We shall have our little match after 3 months of you training vigorously, For now go freshen up cause your training isn’t over”Liam announced before leaving.
“What the hell do you mean by my training isn’t over!”Amelia yells but he was already gone.

“Answer the question Claudia, where you or where you were not there when Amelia was attacked”Laila interrogates her as all eyes were on Claudia.
“What the hell are you trying to say!”Claudia yells back.
“That’s enough girls”Miss Cynthia interferes before the situation becomes messy.
“Let her answer the question”Laila blurted out, making Claudia frown.
“Yes I was there, so what?”Claudia scoffs, making everyone look at her.
“Really you were there?”Nina asked dumbfounded.
“Yes I was, I just said that!”Claudia yells.
“I knew it,”Laila scoffs.
“Why didn’t help Amelia out then?”Miss Cynthia asked Claudia.
“Help her out,”Claudia scoffs.
“What did you expect me to do exactly, go fight the man that was holding onto her with a knife?”Claudia added, questioning them.
“But you could have done something rather than pretending to care when the boss came,”Laila reprimands her, making Claudia roll her eyes.
“Whatever…. wait how do you know I pretend to care when the boss comes?”Claudia questions giving Laila the suspicious look.
“What do you mean?”Laila glares at her.
“I mean you are not wrong when you said I came out when the boss came, but how did you know what exactly happened?”Claudia smirks as all eyes were on Laila now.
“I was the one who called the boss,”Laila explains, making Claudia’s eyes widen.
“You bitch”She curses at her.
“Get back to work everyone”Miss Cynthia orders as everyone went back to work except Laila and Claudia who were busy glaring at each other.
“I will surely respond to what you did!”Claudia threatens Laila before walking away.
“Who does she think she is?”Laila scoffs.
Claudia went to the car park, and looked around to see if anyone was following her before dialling a number.
“Hello”She chirped out.
“Is my work done?”She asked questions and the caller’s answers made her smirk.
“Never call this number again okay”Claudia warns before hanging up.
“This is just the beginning Amelia, I won’t rest until I get you out of Liam’s life”Claudia declares.

Amelia was laying on the bed , she was worn out from the whole training and immediately fell asleep. Liam was staring at her as she slept with a smile on his lips when his phone started ringing.
He picked it up and saw the police officer was calling and immediately picked it up.
“Hello, did he finally speak?”Liam questions immediately but the response the officer gave him made his eyes widen.
“What do you mean by he is dead?”Liam gasps, a bit shocked.
The police officer explained to him that either he took his own life or was deliberately murdered by the person who hired him because they found a choking mark on his neck.
“What’s going on?” Liam questions before looking at Amelia.
