A hot slap met Alex’s cheek as he brought his mouth close for a kiss. Alex drew back, he looked into Jane’s eyes and said “stop the pretense, you asked for it, I know you wanted me.” He forcefully took possession of Jane’s mouth and slid his tongue in whilst his hands made way to fumble with her breasts.
Jane resisted and struggled free. She pulled back with all the strength she could muster. She dealt a hard blow at his engorged dick and kicked him hard. He fell on the hard floor, held his dick and groaned in pain.
Jane was mad and surprised as well. “Sorry to disappoint you; Mr Perfect, I am one woman standing and no! I never wanted you!” Jane put back her robe and continued. “All I was expecting was a hard slap on my face. You’re a beast. You asshole! How could you ?! I am your wife’s friend for heaven’s sake! I am her friend!” She emphasized the word ‘friend’.
“Fuck! Don’t tell me if you had had your way, you would still have the guts to look into Lisa’s eyes and tell her to stay!” She gesticulated and almost kicked him again. You could have slapped me, run-out or done something!”
Alex was in pain, he clutched at the table and tried to find his feet. Jane bat did not bat an eyelid.
“You came in here seeking help but almost committed the same scandal that ruined you, all on the premise of ‘she made the first move’. Your inordinate sexual affairs are not justified because those whores made moves on you. You justify your actions by telling yourself they asked for it, they are whores and you only gave them what they wanted. Snap out of it man! You are the bad ass here! You are as well responsible for your actions. Your status and position will always bring such your way, your response is what makes you a man. If you can’t control your dick you are not man enough and you ain’t worthy of any woman…. Stop the pretense, you asked for it, I know you wanted me,” Jane mimicked him.
“I wanted who? My friend’s husband? You are indeed out of your mind! Get the fuck outta here! Get out!”
“Jane, I am sorry, I…” Alex stammered. “I don’t want to hear it, just gooooo!” Jane yelled.
Alex was embarrassed, he fled the scene and drove away immediately. Every single word Jane said rang repeatedly in his head. No one has ever reprimanded him in such a way. She made him feel filthy and shameless.
Jane paced to and fro in her room. She was mad at Alex. She never expected such from him. “What a crazy bastard, always blaming others for his misdeeds. I hope this made him change,” she soliloquized.
“What actually got over you, Jane? You have indeed gone crazy, that was way too far. What if it went out of your control? But it didn’t.’ Jane’s voice yelled in her head as she reprimanded herself for her reckless move on Alex.
“If I help him make Lisa stay, he would no doubt continue his escapades,” Jane thought. The whole scenario made her realize Alex was not sticking out for his wife because he had realized his wrongs; rather, It was because he needed her. “What a selfish entity… hmm… I know what to do,” She muttered and laid down to sleep.
Alex got back home and was surprised to meet Lisa in the sitting room.
“Lisa? I thought you were asleep,” he said in concern. “Where are you coming from? It’s past 2am. Oh I forgot, from Marie’s, right? You’re welcome,” Lisa said sarcastically.
“Lisa, not Marie, I… was …I… was… at.. Fuck!” Alex stuttered. He kicked the table out of his way and walked into his bedroom, he clicked the door shut.
Alex turned into his room dejectedly. His heart swelled and fluttered, it played tricks on him. His usual cool aura was gone, he was perturbed. For the first time in his life, he stopped thinking he was right. Someone made it clear in a dramatic way that he was not better than those he called whores. He was made to see his mistake, his wrongs and his distorted perspective. He realized he had been wrong all along. He groaned, memories of his wantonness filled his head. His past escapades ran through his mind like a flash and he clutched hard at his heart.
He could feel his wife’s pain. The disrespect, the humiliation, the heartbreak and betrayal. “Lisa l am sorry, I am indeed not a worthy husband.” He muttered. Sleep eluded him, his remorse lingered and his heart ached all through the night.
