He ran out of the house in a haste and hurried for his dear life.
Poor him, he has nowhere to go or to hide his head.
He slept on the street and was fine with them on the street. It was later on, he watched the news on the billboard, his mother is dead.
His mother had fallen from the skyscraper and met her loom.
The person she was in within the hotel was unknown as they said the CCTV camera was faulty and couldn’t record anything.
It’s Nath! He yelled out because he knew his stepfather was the last to be seen with his mother.
He ran over to a spot and start to cry heavily not until some set of men arrived in some bullion.
They were holding a variety of guns and had sprinted straight into a store.
There they dragged a man in his nineteen’s outside against his will. They threw him off to the ground while the victim trembled fearfully, pleading for his life.
“You,” A solemn voice resounded in the air.
“How old are you?” The man whose resemblance was to a modern devil had asked the victim who was pleading for his life.
“I’m.. m… 19.”The boy chided in a broken voice.
“You’re nineteen but evil. You dare to spy on us and feed information to the Avenetti?” He questioned out of patience.
“I’m sorry sir.”He pleaded.
“Sorry?” The man asked adjusting his sleeve length.
” I just wanted to earn their trust and they promised to buy me a house.” The victim replied sheepishly.
“Okay but your irrational decisions cost some lives and now yours will be taken to send a warning to your master who had promised you a castle.” The rest of the men laughed because of how the man had spoken.
They laughed heartily. The victim also joined in laughing heartily even when the rest of the armed men had stopped. without much talking, a shot was taken and the result of it was his splattered brain.
Rico froze to death at his sight and redirected his gaze to the man who had pulled the trigger. It was Damien.
Their gaze get honed and he was going to kill him when a man stopped the man from doing so.
“Let him be, he’s just a street boy.” The other man which was Unknown had spouted.
Without beating around the bush, he was saved.

Two weeks after, some set of street boys were bullying him. They were giving him a hard beating. Rico had given up the will to live because he felt that no one will ever come to his rescue not until a hoarse voice resounded.
The boys all turned to take a good look at the person who had dared to stop them.
“Let go of him,” the unknown man which had saved him the previous order but they laughed, mimicking his intonation.
“What if we don’t?” They hollered back at the unknown man who did nothing but to strode towards them.
“I’ll beat you all.” They laughed at his response and one out of them the unknown man presumed to be the leader of the gang pulled out his gun and pointed it toward the unknown man.
The unknown man had watched the holder of the gun rant foolishly and while he was about to pull the trigger, a shot comes from nowhere.
The rest of the gang had lowered their head with their hands clutching to their ears. They were anticipating the unknown man to drop on the wet ground but nil! It was Red devil, their leader who had fallen to the ground with a bullet lodged in his forehead.
They all scampered and got safety, leaving Red devil’s corpse behind along with Rico.
Rico peed in his shorts at that moment. The unknown man’s movement abruptly comes to an end in front of Rico, the unknown pulled the trigger and paused for a while before letting go.
He fired his shot against the lifeless body which was lying in its pool of blood five more times.
He shoved the gun into his pocket and stretched forth his hand.
Rico shakily slapped his hands away and attempts to run away when the man did not even makes any attempt to stop him.
Rico keeps running through the dark of the night with no light on.
He saw a hidden spot in the alley, he ran into it and was caught by the unknown Man.
“Please…” Rico stammered.
“Who are you? why are you after my life? Did Nat also send you to kill me?” Rico asked this question and the man keep mute but just stared deep into him.
Few minutes after the man has been able to pacify Rico. Rico inquired on how the man was able to locate him when he had to keep running.
The man asked if he wanted to learn how.
“No just tell me.” Rico dragged.
” I don’t give fish to people but rather I teach them how to fish.”
Rico was confused at the man’s words.
“What had fish come to do with this?” He questioned.
“With many things but if only you will follow me.” The man responded gently to Rico in patience.
“Follow you? Of course, I’m following you right now. I mean we are strolling you know.” He rushed to the man in front and stopped, after his words, he arched his shoulder in askance.
“No, I don’t.” The man responsible was so quick. Rico felt hurt by that.
“I’ll follow you.” Rico finally said after staring blankly into the unknown man’s eyes.
The unknown man smirked his mouth before pushing Rico off to the other side.
“Think ahead. Always learn to think ahead of your enemy.” That were his words.
The man’s name was Jack. He saved him, taught him how to sell drugs, and defend himself.
He taught him some tactics but when he had asked for him to help revenge his mother’s death he knew the killer.
Jack refused that he couldn’t kill anyone just based on his assumptions rather he should train and find out the cause himself before taking any irrational steps.
Then comes Damien with the offer that he knew who killed his mother. He knew the truth about his mother’s death, the camera was not faulty, he was going to show him everything but unless on one condition…
