There was a lab session in the morning, and Zachary walked into the lab. He arrived late today; the postgraduates from earlier had already assembled. As Zachary entered, he noticed a few curious glances directed towards him.
Zachary understood the reason for their scrutiny but chose not to address it. Without intending to inquire, the others casually averted their eyes, respecting his privacy.
After the recent scandal and a tumultuous experiment, it seemed reasonable for Selena to give up. Summer, the classmate, broke the silence, “The teacher will arrive shortly, so let’s prepare for the class.”
The group began donning white coats and arranging surgical instruments. A few minutes later, Mr. Newman entered the room, scanning the space with a furrowed brow, “Why is one missing?”
Summer, with a smile, responded, “Professor, everyone is present.”
Mr. Newman scrutinized the room once more, focusing on Zachary, “Why isn’t the girl you came with yesterday here today?”
The unexpected question left the crowd surprised. In a research-oriented lab, where strength and initiative were paramount, professors rarely showed interest in the attendance of new students.
Summer pursed her lips, and Zachary, sensing the curiosity, clarified, “Professor, are you referring to Selena?”
Acknowledging Selena’s absence, Zachary explained, “Selena is facing some difficulties. The headmaster granted her a three-day leave, and she’ll be back in class after that.”
Mr. Newman nodded, “I see. Remind her to submit her lab data from yesterday when she returns.”
Zachary gladly accepted the responsibility, “Yes, Professor.”
Mr. Newman addressed the postgraduates, “Selena is new to the lab; help her understand the ropes.”
The postgraduates, perplexed by Selena’s questionable surgery skills, complied, “Got it, Professor.”

Douglas Lane slammed his phone on the table, expressing his anger, “Luke is getting more overbearing. How dare he threaten us?”
Bob Burton, a middle-aged man with a svelte look, inquired, “What did he threaten the perfume organization with?”
Douglas explained, visibly unhappy, “Luke said that if we don’t let Selena participate in the competition, he’ll replace the organizer and our group within the perfume organization opposing Selena.”
Bob, surprised, questioned, “Why is Mr. Jordon defending Selena so vigorously?”
Unable to comprehend Luke’s staunch support, Douglas shared his confusion. Bob suggested pragmatically, “Olympus Group is a multinational company. Although we’re not afraid, it’s better to let Time Group handle this.”

The leader of Time Group seized the opportunity to expose Luke’s actions on social media, questioning Olympus Group’s integrity. The tweet triggered a public response, with individuals expressing their opinions.
A: Olympus Group has gone too far. Time Media and Perfume Organization are following rules; there’s nothing wrong with that.
B: Olympus Group makes people uncomfortable. Luke’s defense of Selena is acceptable, but openly threatening Time Group is excessive.
C: Olympus Group is arrogant. Time Media, a multinational company, should be beyond Luke’s influence.
D: Selena’s removal from the list seems unfair. Only Olympus Group can be bullied, but its rebuttal isn’t allowed.
E: Selena’s scandal is unresolved; removing her from the list is premature. Perfume Organization and Time Media are hasty in their decisions.
As the internet buzzed with discussions, an account boldly replied to Time Media, stating that Olympus Group wasn’t threatening but informing about the change in the competition’s organizer. The shocking revelation left everyone in stunned silence.
