Osvaldo’s movements paused, and his gaze sharpened. Georgia met his gaze, and a dense chill ran down her spine. Unlike the tenderness he showed Selena, he looked at Georgia as if she were a dragon whose scales had been touched. His exquisite face was permeated by a haunting emotion.
Georgia almost froze under his cold stare. After a few seconds, Osvaldo lowered his black butterfly-like eyelashes, concealing the gloom in his eyes, and tightened his arms around Selena.
Others looked at Georgia with suspicion and disgust. Even though she didn’t like Selena, picking on someone’s boyfriend and cursing the young couple for the first time? The cynicism in Georgia’s eyes was too obvious. They wondered if she had an ulterior motive for smearing Selena with such hysterical disgust.
Selena glanced at Georgia and squeezed Osvaldo’s fingers. Osvaldo’s lips curved up tenderly, and he placed an object in Selena’s hand.
Selena looked at the object and smiled, “Are you all wondering why I came to Georgia first after the scandal about me at Creephia University emerged?”
The group turned to Selena in confusion. Yes, they remembered that Selena and Georgia had a grudge, but why had Selena come to Olnrith University at this time?
Billy asked, “Lady Selena, do you mean that incident was likely done by her?”
Hearing Selena’s words, Georgia, who had fallen into fear, raised her head and stared deadly at Selena, “Selena, don’t frame me. It’s you who did the scandalous things and got exposed, what does it have to do with me?”
A trace of dark coldness slid across Selena’s eyes. She raised the corners of her lips, “In fact, this is not the first time Georgia has met my boyfriend. Last night, she was invited to my home as my best friend.”
Georgia’s face twitched hard. An uproar ensued as condemning eyes turned towards her.
Selena continued, “Judy can prove I ended our friendship three years ago. How can a shameless slut like you be my friend? And how could I possibly go to you in private?”
Georgia staggered to her feet, a near-mad smile on her face, “Selena, Judy can prove I broke off friendship with you for three years. How can a shameless, trifling slut like you be worthy of being my friend? And how could I possibly go to you in private?”
She snorted, “You think too highly of yourself.”
As Georgia spoke, Osvaldo took hold of Selena’s wrist and slapped Georgia across the face. The students were shocked. Georgia fell into a flower bed with a thud.
A dead silence fell. Judy winced, covering her mouth. Everyone stared at the man behind Selena, surprised by his anger. Even Selena was wide-eyed.
Osvaldo looked down at Georgia on the ground, his eyes sharp. He then collected the hostility in his eyes, explaining, “She insulted and slandered you.”
Selena blinked, giving a bright smile, “It’s okay. I told Leia before, it’s best to beat her until she can never speak again. I never thought this wish would come true.”
Without giving the students a chance to accuse Osvaldo, Selena handed the object to Eduard, “If, after reading this, you still decide to defend Georgia, then I will have to fight Olnrith University to the end.”
