The doctor continued, “But, Mrs. Williams’s pregnancy might have complications in future, as I just discussed with Dr. Scot about her last abortion, you will have to take extreme care otherwise it will be life-threatening to both mother and babies life.”
Alex was anxious after hearing the doctor, and again his heart was filled with guilt, he always felt that it was all his mistake, if he had been by her side at that time, things would have been different.
Maybe, they had not lost their daughter.
Alex was pulled out of his sorrow, when Alice patted on his shoulder slowly and said, “Tony, we will be fine.”
It was like she was able to read his thoughts and feel his pain; she assured him.
Alex nodded and kissed her hand.
After they came out of the hospital, Mandy followed him, and said to Alex, “Mr. Williams, don’t worry, just take good care of her, and if she feels anything uncomfortable, I am just a call away.”
Although Alex sees Mandy as his love rival, being a man, he can see Mandy’s love for Amice in his eyes, but he also knew that Mandy would never harm Alice.
So he allowed Mandy to be around them.
Alex nodded; they shook hands and left. Mandy saw Alice going happily in Alex’s arms.

While saying the last statement, her voice choked, Alex gently pulled her on top of him and said while kissing on her forehead, “Alice, I want to have a lot of babies with you, but more than babies I want you by my side, I can’t afford to lose you for babies.”
He pulled up her chin, making her look at him, and said gently but with a worried voice, “Baby, I want you to promise me something?”
Alice frowned slightly; still, she nodded, Alex continued, “If going forward we face any complication in this pregnancy, we will abort the child, I don’t want to take any risk when it comes on you, we can adopt the child as many as you want.”
Alice smiled slowly, and said, “Tony, why don’t we think positive, I believe everything will be fine, I think God has given us this chance so we should cherish it, we just need to take a lot of care, Tony I want to have your baby, our baby, symbol of our love.”
Alex looked at her blankly and thought that might be he was too impulsive, she is right we should think positive, and when it comes on choosing between her and child he will select her only, he will not let her decide on it, even if she hates him for that but he will not risk her life.
Alex hugged her tightly and said, “Sleep now.”
In some time, Alice fell asleep on top of him, but Alex was still awake, he was not sleepy at all, he was waiting for her to sleep.
He had already made a list of jobs, which he needed to do overnight.

“Do these things on priority, and note that I will not go for any business trip over this period.”
Joy noted every detail his boss said, and replied, “Sure President, I will take care of it.”
After that, Alex hung up the call and lit a cigarette, standing at the French window he was in deep thoughts, he wanted to make sure nothing went wrong this time.

Alice smiled, didn’t say anything and let him hold her.
After an hour, Alex woke up and saw Alice was in his arms, but she was not sleeping.
He pinned her and was about to kiss her when Alice covered his lips with her palms, and said, “Tony, I don’t think we should do this”
Alex slowly removed her hand from his lips and said, “I only want to kiss you, and I promise I will not do anything till the baby is out.”
