Mara was still seated at the garden, under the beautiful and huge flower tree, still holding her phone closer to her ears and waiting for Daniel to break the silence. They were both mute for sometime when Mara decided to break the silence.
“Hello…” she said as she waited for his reply.
“Hi, I’m so sorry for sending those. Please forgive me. I know you are angry at me right now and now, I’m regretting my actions because I hate to see you get hurt. You are sad and angry right now and it’s my fault! I’m just an ass hole!. Please forgive me and I promise it…” Mara interrupted his talking.
“Shhhhhhhh, don’t say those awful things to yourself. I’m actually not angry at you. I’m glad you did what you did.” She said and Immediately Daniel heard her words, he worried less.
“You aren’t angry at me?” He asked.
“Not at all. I’m not angry dear. I’m glad you said all of those to me. I was really happy when I read them. Thanks a lot. Your message made my day. I love you too Daniel.” She finally confessed.
Daniel was happy and surprised at the same time. He wanted to express his happiness and the only way he was able to do that was by letting a few tears threaten to drop but they didn’t drop anyway. They only threatened to drop.
“Back then in school, I also liked you but was scared to confess what I felt. When I saw your message, I couldn’t stop my tears from dropping. They were actually tears of joy! I’m so happy that…”
She noticed that Daniel wasn’t saying anything as she wondered what had happened.
“Hello? Are you there?” She asked.
Daniel, who was trying very hard to hold his tears from dropping finally spoke.
“Yeah, can we see?” He asked.
As Mara heard his question, she blushed but she didn’t make it obvious and then she replied.
“Emmmmm… hmmm I think… ok, sure we can.” She said,
“Where are You? So I can come and pick you up.”
“I’m at Annabel’s home. I will send you the address after the call. Okay?” Said Mara.
They both Agreed and then the call ended.
After the call ended, Mara stood for some time. She held her phone in her palm and then placed it on her chest as she smiled and then kissed Daniel’s number that displayed on her phone screen. After kissing her darling soon to be boyfriend’s number, she removed what she saved his number as and then replaced it with “Baby”. She saved his number with baby and she also added a love sticker to it. After she was done, she looked at the saved contact and the love sticker and then kissed them once more and decided to go and prepare for her date with Daniel but immediately she turned, she saw Annabel standing at her back, smiling before the scene she experienced.
“Huh?” Said Mara.
She was so shocked as she saw Annabel standing at her back. She started to wonder if Annabel had stood there for a long time. ‘If she actually Did, that means she witnessed everything.’ Those were the thoughts that ran through her mind.
‘Oh! She is going to taunt me now’ she cried inwardly.
Mara was still standing and looking at Annabel without saying a word as those thoughts ran through her head.
“Why are you still standing there? And what is Huh?” Annabel said and gave out a crazy laugh. “Your Baby is waiting for you and you are here standing and looking at me without a word. Hahahahaha.” She laughed.
Mara was still standing frustrated. She wasn’t angry at all. She was just frustrated that her crazy friend was going to taunt her. That’s all.
“Lover girl! Make sure you give it to him very well. I mean… Well, you know what I mean dear. Just make sure you make him beg for more and more and more. You get it?” Annabel said as she tried walking closer to Mara to do something crazy to her. Maybe, to poke her nose or to slightly hit her big boobs and ass and then say something crazy to her. Unfortunately, Mara saw that coming, so she decided to run away from Annabel but Annabel won’t rest until she does that which is on her mind. Since Mara had run away from Her, she decided to chase her around the compound.
Mara kept running as she said;
“Please allow me to go and prepare.”
“Annabel was still chasing her as she replied;
“I will. Only if you allow me to do that which is on my mind right now.”
They both kept running until Mara got tired and gave up. Breathing so fast as if her heart was about to fall off.
As for Annabel, she wasn’t feeling tired at all because she was already prepared for Mara. And especially, when Annabel wants to taunt someone, she would put in all her best no matter how difficult or stressful it could be. She was just good at it.
Mara was tired as she fell to the floor and pleaded. She actually pleaded for doing nothing wrong.
“So… sorry… Ok… ok… I… Annabel, I give up.” Mara said as she tried to regain her lost energy.
Annabel, hearing those words, felt satisfied. She felt like a boss she had always been.
“Huh? You give up?” Annabel asked.
Mara nodded.
Annabel laughed and then said; “Good! So now, stand up and allow me to do what I wanted to do. Will You?” She smiled.
“Yes ma’am,… I… I will.” Mara stammered.
Annabel couldn’t stop laughing.
After some moment, Mara stood up from the ground where she sat.
“It’s over 15 minutes now and I’m sure your date will be waiting. Go inside and freshen up before you leave and secondly, next time don’t dare me. You already know what I’m capable of, right.” Annabel said as she gave out an annoying laugh and then helped Mara to clean up the mess on her body before they both walked back into the building.
Annabel went into her room and sat on her bed as she took her phone. She took her phone and browsed through the internet a little and also watched some videos. And after somewhile, she ended up listening to some of her favourite music tracks. Meanwhile, Mara went into her room to freshen up.
After some time Mara has already finished freshening up. She went into her dressing room and took a gown, a very short pink gown. she took her black shoes that were decorated with a silver stone and dressed up and after she was done dressing up, she walked to the mirror that was beautifully hung on the wall to apply some little makeup on her face but in the process the troublesome Annabele walked in and started to say some crazy words to Mara.
Annabele stood in front of the mirror as she asked;
“Why are you putting on a short gown? Huh? Oh! I know. I get it now. I’m happy adhering to what I’ve told you earlier. I’m so very happy. Do you need some condoms?” Annabelle asked.
Mara just stood there without saying a word. She just looked at Annabel and within the blink of an eye, she continued to beautify her face and didn’t mind what Annabel had said to her and of course, she heard all Annabel’s words but she didn’t want to say anything to avoid Annabel’s taunt. After some time, Mara was done beautifying her face as she took her handbag and was about to move to go and get her phone so she could call Daniel when Annabel said something crazy.
“Hey wait!” Annabel said.
Mara was curious and wanted to know why Annabel had stopped her so she decided to wait just as Annabel had instructed.
Mara was now standing in front of her cupboard as Annabel walked towards her and then said;
“Take this!” Annabel said.
Mara wondered what Annabel was giving to her.
“What is it?” Mara asked.
“Take this. Annabel said again. That was the moment she opened her palm to show Mara what she was actually holding. Mara was so shocked that Annabel had actually held a condom and was offering it to her to go with it.
“A condom?” Mara asked.
It was so obvious that Mara was surprised.
“What should I use this for?” Mara asked.
“Are you a kid? Why are you asking me such a question?” Annabel asked.
“Look, girl I’m just going on a date. Like… it’s the first time and it’s not as if i ‘ve started dating him. He just confessed his feelings towards me just now and I’m sure you know that. So… why this?” Mara curiously asked and widened her big eyes as she waited for Annabel to respond to her.
“Well, something may happen. In fact, something will happen you never can tell you… I mean, you can’t predict. just take this and put it into your bag.” Said Annabel.
Mara didn’t want to argue, she didn’t want to exchange words with Annabel so, she decided to take it from Annabel’s hand and then threw it into the little fancy purse she was holding.
“Thank you.” Said Mara.
“You are welcome sweetheart. have you called him?” Annabel asked.
“Not yet but I’m about to call him right now.” said Mara and after sometime Mara took her phone to call Daniel. She called and told him that she was already prepared and Daniel said okay, he would be coming soon to pick her up.
Daniel finding his way to Annabel’s home wasn’t a problem because Mara had earlier sent him the Address of Annabel’s home before Annabel walked in with her troublesome self.
