David picked up his clothes and wore them, took his belongings including his car keys and then walked towards the door and dragged it open. He held the handle of the door, paving way for Annabel to pass and when she did, he closed the door and they both left the room and walked downstairs towards the place where David had parked his car. They got there, Annabel and David climbed into the car. She sat on the passenger’s seat while David sat in the driver’s seat. He started the car and after some time, the car accelerated.
Inside the car,
They both sat quietly without talking to each other. Annabel kept looking at herself in the mirror beside the car and started to imagine if she wasn’t beautiful enough. She knew she was beautiful and many men had wished and are still wishing to have her but this man beside her rejected her. Didn’t he see the beauty in her? Or wasn’t she the kind of woman he wanted?

As the car was moving, David slightly stared at Annabel from the window to know if she was okay without Annabel noticing that. He stared at her for a little and then concentrated on driving.
