Annabel noticed that Mara and Daniel had given her the chance that she needed as she brought out her naughty being.
“You look cute. ” she said as she sexily licked her lips, giving him a seductive look.
“Thanks.”
“Welcome. Are you spending a night here or you will be going home?” She curiously asked as her ears stood to hear the positive or negative answer.
“I don’t know yet. It all depends on Evidence. If he spends a night, it means we would also spend a night.”
“Oh i see.” She smiled as she excused herself. She quickly called Rose just to convince her to make sure Evidence accepts to spend a night there as she went back to her seat as If nothing had happened. She sat back as they discussed. She tried showing her naughty behaviour but when she saw that he wasn’t even noticing her move, she got angry and decided to make the move first. She told him she likes him and they should make use of one of the available rooms but the reactions that Mr. Gorgeous gave her made her conclude that he was still a learner that hadn’t touched a lady before. She got frustrated but didn’t give up yet. She decided to change the topic as they discussed casual stuff.
Meanwhile, back at the Garden, Mr. Evidence and Rose were still enjoying each other’s company when Rose decided that she wanted to buy something to eat. But due to the person who was to sell to Rose wasa male, Mr. Evidence stopped her from going towards that direction.
“I will get it myself,” he said.”
Rose was surprised at how he suddenly volunteered himself instead of allowing her to go do it herself. When Rose sat on the swing waiting for Evidence, a young, gentle , cute and good looking man approached her.
“Hi, beautiful. My name is…” he couldn’t complete his statements because he had noticed that Rose’s sight was fixed in a particular direction. He followed the trace of her sight as he sighted a man who was giving him a dangerous look that was filled with warnings. He then realized that Mr Evidence was with her and by the look of things, he concluded that they were couples because of their outfit.
He still stood there as he said to her.
“Sorry, i never knew you were married.” He said and left. He actually made that speech because in the party, only married Couples were putting on the same outfit with their partners while the singles wore clothes of their choice.
Mr. Evidence saw that he had left her as he returned to his position. He was now facing towards the ice crea vehicle as he purchased some for Rose.
Few minutes later, he walked down, towards Rose as his cold and icy eyes appeared.
“Why did you smile at him?”
“I didn’t smile at him.”
“You did! I saw you. I read his lips and I knew everything he had said. I can even tell you each and every word that came out from his mouth.
“Ok, tell me.”
“He called you Beautiful and he told you that he likes you and… that was the period you smiled at him. I saw that! You thought I wouldn’t see that?” He angrily said.
“I don’t know what you are talking about please. He didn’t say any of those words… and I didn’t even smile at him! I didn’t smile. What you saw wasn’t right.”
“Are you saying my eyes are recieving me? You now call me a liar!”
“No, that’s not what i meant. I didn’t call you a liar and i didn’t say your eyes were deceiving you please don’t misunderstand what i mean.”
“But you smiled at him?”
“No, i didn’t.”
With a loud voice, Mr. Evidence interrupted.
“Don’t! Lie! To! Me!” With the fire burning in his eyes, he threw the two plates of ice cream on the floor with so much energy, causing its plate to damage and spilling the whole ice cream on the floor. He stepped on it continuously as he vented his anger on the innocent ice cream that hadn’t harmed him in any way.
“Please… please stop. Trust me, I didn’t smile at him.” She pleaded as she tried controlling her tears from pouring. She held Evidence and tried to stop him from going berserk but it looked like she reacted late because the dude had gone berserk already.
With the fire still burning in his eyes, he said; “We are leaving now!”
“But we just arrived.”
“Another word from you,…” he couldn’t speak.
“Call your friends and tell them to meet us outside.” He instructed.
At this point, Rose was damn scared, she realized that it was too late to calm him down, it was too late to speak sense into his fish brain and she decided to obey his instructions.
Rose called Annabel and Mara to tell them that it was time to leave. Annabel was so disappointed that she was going to experience what they call Mission impossible. But she was also grateful that they would be leaving because her Mr. Gorgeous in question seems not to have touched a woman in his entire life.
Mr. Evidence also called Daniel and Mr gorgeous to inform them as well. Few minutes later, they were all out of the ball room but never stopped wondering why they were leaving so suddenly. . Mara and Annabel went back home with Annabel’s car, Mr Gorgeous and two of Mr. Evidence’s men entered one car as they accelerated. Mr Daniel and two of Evidence’s men also entered the same car while Mr Evidence and Rose entered Mr. Evidence’s car as they drove home.
On the way back home, none of them could speak to each other. Evidence concentrated on his driving while Rose sat quietly as she held her Teddy tightly with her gaze focused on the road. Sadness was written all over her.
