Austin left angrily, ignoring the Alpha’s call. He was more than angry and also highly disappointed at what happened, he vow never to stand by Alpha Ben anymore, not after what he had done today. He stride angrily into his room pacing to and fro with an angry looking face, his two hands was wrapped around his back with his swords on the chair close to his standing position. his eyes was fixated on the picture that was on the wall. His heart was enormously hurt and also the certainty, that his best who believe so much in justice was the same person behind all this made his heart shattered into segment of pain.
He felt the cavernous pain of Alpha Ben’s irresponsible behavior , and he ended up getting more furious at Ben. If only he knew, then he would have stopped Daphne from the beginning, but he couldn’t because he thought about his best friend being madly in love with her.
He wishes it was just an imagination, and he also wishes his head was just playing awfully at him .
Austin paced round the room , for the uoteeth time with different thoughts which raced through his mind . He looked at his reflection from the mirror and the sighs.
Alpha Ben stares at one spot , agonizing the fact that everyone is gradually leaving his life , his hope , his friends and his family is continuously creeping away from him, He was left with no choice and also he could not think of the right thing to do . He stares into spaces and his narrow mind went wide with so many imagination, he wishes there was something he had to do to stopped all these from happening and his life suddenly taking a turn where he would have to be damn lonely, with no of his love one to talk to, He couldn’t help but think of all the bad things happening in his life and his happiness was shattered , his heart was also shattered Into pieces .
He thought of all the pain he had caused Daphne and also Daphne hatred towards him , his heart winced and he ended up holding onto the chair for support , as she slowly ast down thinking about his messed up life . He sighs , wishing he could turn back the hands of time and then go back to being happy with everyone around him while having the best tim .
Maria was surrounded by her maids, all performing different activities on her while trying to make her look more beautiful and more eye catching for their Alphas, she smiles at the cares and attention everyone was giving her latelyHer dream life was slowly becoming reality not a dream anymore , like she used to, while sticking to Alpha Ben who had wanted nothing to do with her before , she smile when she remembers all the hurtful words he had say to him, her heart flutter and different waves of happiness filled her up . Her smile soon disappear when an angry looking man , pushed the door open and slowly started walking towards her with raged, his eyes fixated on her . she turned to look at the angry man who happened to be her elder brother .
She flinched , remembering her last encounter with him and he knows how hard he get whenever he is angry . she quickly dismissed the maids , all the maid rans out of the room .
She watches as her brother stopped In Front of her , his angry eyes which were fixed on her had left her and now his voice echoes , causing her to shif backwards in fear .
“Can we talked this out.”she inquired , hopefully he gave in. He sighs , taking a sit closer to where she was seated . she shifted backwards in fear .
“Let her go , she has nothing to do with this.”He demanded , his voice now very high .
“I’m working on it , please a little time is all I need”she pleaded. She could not stand her brother strangling the life out of her. even though she hated Daphne a lot , she needed to let her go to avoid death wishes from her angry brother .
“When will the be?”He asked , as he stood on his feet .
“Soon enough”she said, as a cold shiver ran down her spine .
She looked at his brother as he turned to walk away , after giving her a deadly scare that sent her shivering with fear. she sighs immediately he opened the door and walked out of the room . she released the breath that she had been holding for a very long time .
Daphne sat hungrily at the cell rooms, watching her cell mate as they made fun of her , she ignored them all with a heavy heart . An old woman who was sitty close to her whispered Into her ears.
“Don’t give up, this is a test you must pass for your pack”Daphne turns to look at her , confused at what she said and also what she meant by pack . she tries to read meaning to her words but she shoves it off her mind .
The old woman looks at her and then smiles , seeing the confusion in her face only symbolize that she is more than confused.
“How long have you been here?”She asked, the dirty old woman who ended up smiling at her .
“That is not important, what matters is for you to be stronger than they thought”She said , instead as she tapped on her .
Daphne watches the old woman and the more she does, she ends up more confused since she could not read any meanings to her words.
A noise from the background attracted her as she turned to look at whoever those people were and what they were doing there . She saw the faces of the man who she wished never to see in her life , staring deeply at her .
“Why are you here?”she questions, Standing to her feet . She boldly looks at him with .
“We are here to give you this”Another voice spoke from behind , and slowly started walking towards her . She looked closer to see that Daniel was also here .
Josiah stares at her, his heart filled with pain to see her in this present condition, her body covered with bruises and blood .
“You will get into trouble, when the alpha finds out about this”She said, worriedly looking at him after ignoring Josiah who stood at the edge far away from them .
“Take this , you need it “Daniel forcefully handed it over to her . Even when she had refused to take it . Despite her condition, she was still damn stubborn and adamant .
“I don’t need it , I hate when people pity me . I’m not a bunch of bags, I can’t fight my own battle”She insisted.
“Take it already, don’t hurt the poor boy “The old woman interferes .
She reluctantly takes it from him without giving a damn about it. She walks back to the cell with the woman who staggers behind her . She makes her sit as she slowly feeds the food to her , other cell members watch them .
Maria rushed to the Alphas Chambers with the hope of telling him to release Daphne as soon as possible. She take a narrow step closed to his room , she watches him from afar before walking in
“Why are you here?”Alpha Ben asked , his eyes still closed while sleeping on the bed.
“I’m the Luna remember”She said, before taking a sit close to him.
She moves her hands towards his chest, but he holds her hands and then opens his eyes to stare at her .
“I never give the permission to touch me like you own my body “his yelled with his angry looking eyes which were fixed on her. she flinched on her spot, taking a step backwards.
She wonders why he was being harsh on her , even when he had chosen her as his Luna , they were supposed to be happy together and also shares a room together for them to give birth to an heir . but his attitude say otherwise about the grothw of their relationship .
“What brings you here “He demanded , looking at her nonchalantly.
“Let her go.”She saids , releasing the breath she had been holding unknowingly to her.
“Who?”he asked .
“Daphne “she responded
“Since when did you suddenly care?”Alpha Ben asked , surprised at her tricks .
“Please let her go”she Pleaded , her eyes fixated on him. she scoffed as he sat properly on the bed .
Amazed by Maria’s actions , he knew Maria very well and he knew she wouldn’t want to beg for her enemy . Seeing her beg for Daphne’s make him wonder who put her up to it , there must be a hidden angender behind this .
“There must be a reason, I mean is this what you wanted. To make her below you and also make her suffer”He demanded , staring at her.
“Just let her go, the fight and the slap are all my fault , I mean I started it all”She said, in a form of whisper.
“I didn’t do everything for you, why would i let her go because of you “He question, staring at her .
