Not long after, Olivia called Lorena’s name, which made Lorena look at her.
“Lorena, have you called Professor Vega yet?” Olivia asked because she was curious why Lorena had not brought Professor Vega’s things.
“Not yet.” Lorena shook her head.
This made Olivia’s eyes widen because she was shocked. “Really?”
“Why not?” A frown appeared on Olivia’s forehead.
“Professor Vega will get mad at us!” Olivia complained.
“Just let it go! Let her do that! If you want to call her, you can call her!” Bonita joined in on their conversation.
“Why me? That’s Lorena’s task, Bonita!” Olivia didn’t accept that she must call Professor Vega because she thought it was Lorena’s job. She has been in charge of Chemistry, and she is ordered to call Professor Hugo in every Professor Hugo class.
“The problem is that Lorena is still traumatized.” Bonita’s complaint made Olivia even more shocked.
“Trauma?” She really didn’t think that Lorena can feel traumatized because Lorena is an easy-going person who is able to approach problems casually and lightly.
Besides, why is Lorena traumatized? That perplexed Olivia, prompting her to inquire.
“Trauma? Why?” Lorena was still silent because she felt her heart hurt too much to say what she was feeling. Her mouth trembled at the thought of it.
Seeing this, Olivia immediately embraced Lorena and then hugged her while asking what happened. “How does Professor Vega treat you, Lorena? Does she treat you so badly?”
“Professor Vega wants a contract marriage with Alberto, and Alberto agrees. Professor Vega is also pregnant with Alberto’s child.” Bonita explained briefly.
“What?! How can?!” Olivia was very surprised, because she really didn’t expect that Alberto would have a contract marriage with Professor Vega. Olivia was aware of Professor Vega’s pregnancy.
“Alberto claimed that Professor Vega forced him.” Bonita explained the reason.
“Oh, I see.” It was a voice from behind them that made Bonita, Olivia, and Lorena look back and then find Paul behind them.
“Yes.” Bonita nodded her head.
“No wonder, I heard Lorena cry. What’s wrong? Since then, I have been very confused. “It turns out that this is the issue.” Paul’s comment made Olivia even more shocked, so she checked again with Lorena.
“Are you crying, Lorena?” Olivia looked into Lorena’s eyes with pity.
“Yes.” Lorena nodded her head.
“Wow! We can’t let her do that.” Olivia felt even more annoyed with Professor Vega’s behavior.
She felt like she wanted to destroy Professor Vega as soon as possible. She clenched her fists and was ready to punch Professor Vega if he was in front of her. If she is Lorena, she will undoubtedly murder Professor Vega prior to the incident that destroys Lorena’s happiness in life. Dereck (Olivia’s ex-girlfriend) and her mistress have been killed by Olivia, which caused them to die.
“Yes. We can’t let that person.” Paul spoke vehemently because he was feeling very emotional.
“We have to take revenge on Professor Vega. Professor Vega has gone too far with Lorena. She ruined Lorena’s value, destroyed Lorena’s happiness, and snatched Alberto again from Lorena. Poor Lorena!” Olivia was very upset.
“Yes. Poor Lorena!” Paul commented.
“We have to do something!” Paul felt that Professor Vega’s actions could not be ignored.
“We have to bully Professor Vega,” Olivia thought.
“Not only Professor Vega. Alberto must also be bullied, because Alberto does it too much and continues to obey Professor Vega’s wishes,” commented Paul.
“At first, we thought to make a gang and bully them.” Bonita explained her thoughts to Lorena.
“Agree! We have to make a gang, bully Professor Vega and Alberto, and spread this information to our fellow faculty so that no one wants to be taught by Professor Vega or pays attention to Professor Vega again.” Olivia explained their strategy.
“If necessary, we will make a demonstration so that Professor Vega will no longer teach at this campus.” Paul also added,
“Agree.” They agreed with Paul’s idea.
“I think we also need to bully Professor Vega first before we demo.” Paul came back.
“So even though it’s Professor Vega’s class soon, just let it be!” Lorena was sure of what they had to do.
“That’s right. Just let it!” said the others together.
“If she doesn’t want to teach in our class, how about our grade later?” Lorena was confused, because she would be to blame if Professor Vega didn’t want to teach their class anymore.
“It’s good. We don’t want to be taught by a lecturer like that! Even though she is smart and a famous doctor, she can’t keep her good attitude.”
Olivia really doesn’t want to be taught by a lecturer with an attitude as bad as Professor Vega, no matter how smart the lecturer is. According to Olivia, the main thing is attitude.
Not long after, Professor Vega walked into their class and walked to her seat. Professor Vega’s actions made the students scatter and sit in their seats. After that, she sat down in her chair and put her things on her desk.
Then, she prepared for the day’s class, starting with turning on the laptop, setting up the projector, etc. From the moment Professor Vega entered, Lorena immediately tried to take her eyes off of her because she was still traumatized.
“Why didn’t anyone call me earlier? Don’t you want to be taught by me?” Professor Vega asked curtly, which made the class fall silent.
Olivia immediately rolled her eyes because she felt too lazy to meet Professor Vega. Olivia immediately asked again, curtly. “Yes. No one wants to be taught by you. Who is the person in this class who wants to be taught by you?”
“Doesn’t anyone want to be taught by me? Then, I’ll leave this class, and I’ll report to the chancellor about your actions!” Professor Vega threatened her students to make them afraid of her.
“Just report it! Let me report back about your outrageous behavior!” Olivia challenged Professor Vega.
“Who is the person in charge of this class?” Professor Vega immediately inquired about the person in charge of her class, scanning her students one by one.
“Me, Professor!” Lorena raised her hand.
“Why didn’t you call me? Because your friends don’t want to be taught by me, you also don’t want to be taught with me, and you don’t call me, right?” Professor Vega asked why Lorena didn’t call her.
“It doesn’t like that. Actually, I wanted to call you, but I didn’t feel well because Alberto was inside. I don’t like interrupting your conversation.” Lorena lied that she didn’t like interrupting Professor Vega and Alberto’s conversation.
“Why didn’t you talk to me when Alberto came out of my room, Lorena?” Professor Vega asked again.
Lorena’s breathing was irregular. Her face was pale. Her heart was pounding. She felt panicked because of Professor Vega’s angry behavior. But she tried to calm her emotions. She tried to take a deep breath and let it out slowly. After her feelings calmed down a bit, she forced herself to say what happened.
“I’m sorry, Professor. I …”
Her eyes tried to avert from Professor Vega’s gaze, but Professor Vega continued to look at her with interest.
But her words stopped, because her trauma came again. Staring at Professor Vega made her remember the moment when she had sex with Alberto.
“I? What? What do you want to say?” Professor Vega said firmly while she frowned because she was annoyed with Lorena, who stopped her sentence and tried to lie by taking her eyes off of Professor Vega.
She was shocked when she heard the conversation between the professor and Alberto. Bonita tried to help Lorena say what she wanted to say.
Hearing that, the class started to get busy. Many questions were raised about the main topic of Professor Vega’s conversation with Alberto.
“Hey! How can Lorena be so traumatized? What’s the matter?”
“Yes, what’s up?”
“How can Lorena be like that?”
“What were they talking about until Lorena was traumatized?”
“Ah! Lorena is just overdoing and overreacting to that.”
At that time, Paul and Olivia immediately told them about the contents of the conversation between Professor Vega and Alberto. Professor Vega could only lower her head as a result of her shame. She knows that it’s her fault, but she has to win Alberto’s love. If she doesn’t win Alberto’s love and get him to be her husband, why is she teaching at the campus as a lecturer?
Why did she take the very strict lecturer selection test? All that she did just for Alberto Meanwhile, Lorena’s classmates who didn’t know about it immediately felt shocked because they really didn’t expect that Professor Vega would be so cruel.
“Oh! Seriously?”
“Serious. Do you think that I’m lying?” Olivia’s words made them start to underestimate Professor Vega.
“Oh! I don’t expect it!”
“You’re a mistress lecturer!”
“Bad lecturer!”
“We don’t want to be taught by lecturers like that.”
“Shut up!” Professor Vega hit the table again so hard that all the students fell silent and turned their attention back to her.
“I asked Lorena. Not you, Bonita!” Professor Vega was angry because she thought Bonita was trying to act like she knew everything. Though maybe Lorena wasn’t like that.
“Yes.” Lorena nodded her head.
“Indeed, I’m shocked. It’s a fact.” Lorena continued her sentence slowly.
“Forgive me!” Afterwards, Lorena apologized.
“That’s okay!” Professor Vega looked at the clock, and it showed Lorena’s class was five minutes old.
“Time passes in five minutes.” She complained.
“Let’s study! Next time, don’t be like that!” Professor Vega’s advice.
Not long after, a slide appeared on the board. Professor Vega explained the day’s material. No one paid attention to her class because they had lost their respect for Professor Vega. The students were laughing, sleeping, or talking in her class. None of the students noticed her that day.
Her heart as a lecturer was broken. She feels she has failed to be a good lecturer. She knows that it’s all her fault. She knows it’s wrong to offer Alberto a contract marriage, but she has no other choice. She also knows that it’s wrong for her to be pregnant with Alberto’s child.
She is a woman who grabs people’s girlfriends and destroys Lorena’s happiness, but she really wants Alberto. Professor Vega can’t do anything except be patient and try her best to teach.
