It’s been a few years but Ella still can’t forget the expression on Damian’s face when he suddenly enters his room. He dared to do that thing because he wanted to have a pocket when he left.
She didn’t leave because she wanted to flirt with Damian. He left because he wanted to find himself. Damian’s life revolved around a few years, and a few years were wasted because he didn’t do the things that his peers usually do.
She tried not to catch up with Rebecca about Damian because she didn’t want to think about the man. Although Damian is still the flesh of his heart, he can’t expect them to be together. He realized that he could not be the only one to love the two of them. He really doesn’t want to make an effort anymore. It’s as tiring as fighting alone!
“The depth of what you’re thinking, you might drown.”
Ella turned to her companion and smiled at the man. “Because I know how to swim, you’re the only one who can’t.” He told Michael Ragusta.
Their paths meet again when they reach out to a bank to withdraw money, and that is the beginning of their strange friendship. Since then, they have always gone out together on weekends or when they don’t have a job. They were run again at a time when they needed sympathy. They are both hurt because of love, and who cares but the two ruined and wounded!
“Teach me to swim,” the man said. As a child he already had aquaphobia and only in the last few days has he thought of dealing with his fear of water.
When the man confessed that he was afraid of water, he just laughed at it, because he didn’t believe it. “Are you sure? Because if what you said is true, of course I will help you. ” She had wanted to suggest to the man for a long time that she should face her fear but she was worried that he would disrespect her advice so she chose to remain silent.
“Yes, so that I can accompany you on your trips that only ships can take.” Michael’s confession. Since their paths meet again, they have become close to each other, only, the woman is always busy for her YouTube channel.
“How are you, Michael?” Ella asked about her friend’s emotional state. He knew that even if he didn’t speak, the man had already missed playing basketball. He suffered from a torn ACL a few months after their first meeting, and the man’s career ended abruptly.
“Here, still fighting.” Michael replied. He kept nothing secret from Ella as well as the cause of her injuries.
“And your job?” Ella checked. The man’s physical injuries have healed but his injured heart has not. Like her, they were both brokenhearted, but for Ella it was worse what happened to Michael.
“So far so good. My varsity team at school is kind, “Michael replied. He has been coaching at a university for about two years and not to brag but his pets always win.
“It’s good then,” Ella said.
“Maybe you want to watch basketball tomorrow, my kids have a game at the Coliseum.” Michael’s statement.
“Tomorrow? I can’t, eh. My co-vloggers have a gathering and I have already committed, sorry. ” He gave the man a peace sign because frustration was obvious on his face. “Hmmm, the event is only two hours away, so we’ll just hang out after.” Ella added so as not to disappoint the man too much.
Michael smiled at what he heard. “Great. What time is it? Maybe I’ll take the boys, “said Michael.
“Really? Eh di wow, can I take a video of them? You know, to be different. I only feature travel on youtube, “said Ella.
“Hmmm, I’m not sure. I noticed that they don’t like publicity, eh. ” Michael replied.
“Sabagay. Actually, I tried to find them on FB, no accounts. Why is that? I think you’re infected, eh! ” Ella accused Michael of being a bad influence on her team.
“No, ah. It’s their choice, “Michael replied. There is nothing as true as Ella’s accusation against him. “You know, you’re already hurting.” Supposedly he was sulking at the woman ..
“It’s a drama, you have to buy popcorn because we’re late for the show.” He ordered the man, and he immediately complied and went to the snacks corner outside the movie theater.
When Michael returned, he was carrying a bucket of popcorn and two milktea. Ella smiled at the man and took the drink from him. “I guess it’s your speed,” he commented because it was bought in less than five minutes, while the queue was long.
“The saleswoman knows me, so there, she took my order first.” Said Michael.
“So, there was a special treatment? It’s really different when you’re famous, “said Ella and her crisp laugh soared to the entire lobby of SM Cinema. “What’s funny?” He asked the man.
“Nothing,” Michael replied and went in first while restraining himself from laughing again.
“What is it?” Ella didn’t stop the man until he admitted why he laughed. “So, are you telling that you laugh at my expense?” Ella was offended by what Michael said.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t think I would laugh at your expression before.” Michael apologized to the woman.
“Hmmmp, you’ve always been like that. Since you became a coach, your attitude has changed. It looks like you’re infected with your players, eh. ” Ella continued, before sitting down in their assigned seat.
Michael’s forehead furrowed when he felt his cellphone vibrate so he took it out of his pocket and looked. She moaned when the name was read on the screen. She was just staring at the screen when Ella turned around and frowned at why she didn’t answer the call. “It’s my ex-girlfriend,” Michael said.
Ella’s eyebrows rose when she found out who had called Michael. Although he did not know the woman personally, he knew that this was the reason why Michael had an accident and his career as a basketball player was ruined. “Take it,” she ordered him to answer the call.
“What can I tell him?” Michael sought advice from the woman because he did not know how to talk to his ex -girlfriend.
“Ask him what he needs and why he was called,” Ella advised and the man nodded before he excused himself to talk to his ex-girlfriend. When Michael left, he laughed at his hypocrisy. He was good earlier when he counseled Michael while he was unable to answer Damian’s calls.
After their last intercourse, Damian thought he would never leave so his anger subsided when he said goodbye again. The two of them answered each other, until it reached the point of crying and drama. It’s just that her decision to leave to pursue her own happiness without involving the man is really complete.
“Three years Ella. After three years, whether you want to or not, come home! ” Damian gave the woman an extension as long as she could enjoy being alone.
“I can’t promise you that,” Ella said.
“Did I say three years is negotiable?” Damian asked Ella.
Ella smiled when Michael came back again. “Or what did you say?” He immediately asked the man.
“I want to meet and apologize,” Michael said.
“And?” Ella asked.
“He wants to meet now, is it okay to leave you first?” Michael asked.
Ella’s eyes narrowed slightly because it was obvious from Michael’s face that she was even looking at her ex. “Of course, go ahead and goodluck. I hope you two get along, “she said to the man, but if he was the one to follow, he would prefer Michael to find another woman!
While waiting for the show to start, he focused on a bucket of popcorn that Michael had bought earlier. The popcorn was halfway in the bag when suddenly someone stepped beside him. “Why did you come-“, his question hung in the air when he recognized who the man sitting in Michael’s chair was.
“Hi, Ella.” The man said smiling.
Her eyes widened and she stopped eating popcorn when she recognized the man sitting next to her. Ella’s forehead furrowed slightly because she didn’t know how it knew her location. “Are you a stalker?” He tried to keep his voice from rising because the movie was about to start.
“Quite,” Damian said with a smile.
Ella shook a few times as she watched the man. “I still want to do a lot in my life,” he said.
“Three years are over, Ella.” Damian reminded the woman of their conversation three years ago.
Ella raised her eyebrow slightly even though the man wouldn’t notice it because there was darkness inside the cinema. “I never agreed to your stupid deadline!” Ella yelled in a controlled voice.
“Shhhh…,” Damian prompted the woman as the movie began.
He still wanted to scold the man but he couldn’t because the movie had already started. And while his eyes were focused on the show he was watching, his hand was busy grabbing the popcorn. He just ate the food while forcing himself to focus on the film even though the truth was that his mind was on the man next to him.
She tried not to inhale the scent that came from the man but it was too familiar to her nose so no matter what she did to avoid it, the smell of Damian’s perfume still entered. Acqua di Gio seems to have become Damian’s signature scent so whenever he smells the same scent, he immediately remembers Damian.
For two hours he endured not to scold the man, but after the movie and the audience stood up, he immediately turned to the man and asked. “What do you want to happen?”
“Come home,” Damian demanded.
“I don’t want to,” Ella replied, and she went downstairs first to go to the powder room. He used to want to pee, eh!
Damian followed the woman and when she passed the powder room, he patiently waited outside. Ella didn’t know she took someone from Hart’s agency to observe its every move. She wasn’t affected by the men who accompanied Ella on the trip for her youtube channel, but when she heard that she was always with former MVP Michael Ragusta, that’s when she got worried. “Your time,” he said to the woman as she came out of the powder room.
“There are a lot of people inside and I still have to line up,” Ella replied.
“When do you want to go home? Tonight or tomorrow? ” Damian asked the woman again and immediately frowned at her.
“Wait, didn’t you hear me before? I’m not going home,”Ella said in a soft voice but Damian suddenly grabbed her arm and forced her to face the man.
“And why not? Is it because of Michael Ragusta? ” It was shocking that Damian asked Ella because she had long been consumed by jealousy.
