“Dominic!” I yelled angrily at him for refusing to listen to me.
“Hmmm, maybe you should try that the next time you urge me to take you again and again,” he stated.
He taunted me, and his eyes never left mine as he whispered those things, and I felt something hot and wet between my legs. He stepped closer and slipped his hand between my legs as soon as he realized the effect of his hot words on me.
When he rubbed his fingers on it, I said his name, “Dominic…” I grumbled. But I couldn’t let myself be seduced by his attractions once more. I needed to reclaim control of my body.
“Stop!” Even before he could do much more than brush his hands together, I demanded.
I gathered myself, re-dressed, and walked out the door without saying goodbye to Dominic. As I down the stairwell, I reminded myself to be cautious around Dominic. Because of something that transpired between us, he ventured to consider me as his girlfriend, which insulted me because it wasn’t proper. I understood what I was worth and would never accept anything less. If he really wanted me to be his girlfriend, he should attempt to win my heart!
But then I’d simply be deceiving myself! What’s the point now that I’ve already given him my body?
To get rid of Dominic’s aroma all over my body, I needed to clean myself first. Earlier, the man demonstrated his lovemaking abilities, and he didn’t hesitate to utilize all of his equipment, including his amazing tongue.
I submerged my bare body in the shower and turned on the water. I stood still for a time, weighing several items on my head. What if my suspicions about Keith turned out to be correct? What if I had refused to let Dominic in the first place? What if I just went home?
After I got out of the shower, I wasn’t expecting to see Dominic in the living room. I shook my shoulders and walked back into my room.
“Wait, Marian,” he called.
When he called my name, I turned around to hear what he had to say. “Dominic, what is it?” I inquired when he remained silent and stared at me as if this was the first time he had seen me half-naked with only a towel wrapped around my waist.
“Nothing important,” he responded with a shake of his head. Just keep going. I’ll be in my room if you phone me when dinner is ready.”
So I went to the kitchen to squander my energy in the kitchen. On the other hand, my cheeks were on fire as I remembered what I had done earlier. I hid my face behind my hands and shook my head, denying that I had acted foolishly.
“Can you tell me what you’re doing?” Dominic asked in a huffing tone, which caught me off guard.
I didn’t hear him approach. “It’s a good thing you’re awake now because dinner is almost ready.”
“Tonight, I’m going out to eat. He said, “One of the females wanted to hang out,” and then walked away, furious, without saying anything further.
When he left, I rolled my eyes and uttered the woman’s name arrogantly. Was he referring to Hera? As I turned off the gas burner, I grimaced and raised my brows to their greatest point.
As I ate my pig stew and rice dinner, I tapped my feet under the dining table. I seasoned it thoroughly, but when I put it in my mouth, it tasted bland. I looked at the clock on the wall from time to time. Dominic hadn’t arrived home yet, even though it had been four hours. What took him so long? He left about six o’clock.
I opened the window as soon as I heard the sound of a car approaching to see whether it was Dominic, but it was someone else. As I returned to the table, I moaned and proceeded to eat. After a few spoonfuls of my meals, I quit up and retired to my room, my heart heavy.
As I waited for Dominic to get home, I stared at the ceiling for hours and felt sick to my stomach. I checked my phone to see if he had phoned, but there had been no response, and I wished I had saved his number. I twirled my finger through my hair while I listened for any outside noise.
Around one a. m., a muffled ruckus outside jolted me awake. I dashed out of my room and peered out the window to see what had happened, and my eyes widened as I noticed a silhouette of a man with long, unkempt hair. I massaged my eyes to see better, but the other man had already left, leaving only Dominic on the ground.
I dashed outside, oblivious to the fact that I was wearing no slippers. My hands trembled as I helped him sit up since he didn’t respond. When he quickly yanked me towards him, I almost fainted as I searched his body for probable injuries.
“Dominic!” I exclaimed when I touched something hot and wet on his skin, and I gasped in astonishment.
